Stopped in today to this welcoming surprise of a hidden gem. I have to start by saying Pizza is one of my favorite foods. I consider myself a pizza snob if there is such a thing lol. I'm really passionate about it!
When I walked in the first thing that was so apparent was the outstanding attention to detail that went it to creating this wonderful place. It immediately gave you the feeling you did not want to leave. From the life edge tables to the sliced tree trunk wall, to the beautiful tall windows allowing all the light to pour in, to my favorite..... that so, so gorgeous Wood Burning Pizza Oven! It sits like a piece of art in the center of the restaurant for all to see its beauty as well as it being so nice to see the chefs preparing your pizza. As soon as I saw that oven I knew who ever created this magical place was very serious about his pizza. I could not wait to try it. Being from the North originally where my grandparents came over from Napoli through Ellis Island, I have had the opportunity to taste some of the best pizza in the United States and I will tell you this pizza did not disappoint. The crust was heavenly, crisp, light airy and ever so lightly charred enough to give the crust that oh so important fired cooked taste. The sauce, the cheese and the sausage; you could taste were all of very fine quality! My Arugula Salad was outstanding as well, one of my favorite type of salad that is always a challenge to find in the South. Everything homemade and made with love. I can't say enough positive things about my dining experience today. The only negative I can think of is that you are too far from where I live in Wilmington NC. I was in Beaufort on a visit with friends and will now crave to revisit just to taste that pizza again. Thank you for making our dining experience perfect in every way including our not to be overlooked sweet, sweet waitress from Maine, her name escapes me, but she was excellent! I'll be back soon I hope, in the meantime I will be dreaming of that pizza ;)
My grandson picked the Hearth Wood Fiered Pizza Restaurant for lunch and I’m glad he did! I don’t eat pizza very much so I was looking at other options and found an eggplant sandwich on the menu and ordered it. When it came time for the grandson to order he also ordered your sandwich surprising his father! Your sandwich was over the top delicious and with the Arugula salad with white vinaigrette dressing put it way out there!!!
We had a great time. The pizzas and salad were perfect. Our waiter was what a waiter should be, informative, cut up,on spot. We will definitely revisit when we're in or around Beaufort again and again. ..
We really enjoyed our first visit to Hearth Wood Fired Pizza. Our server was Kendra, the service was prompt with everything the server deals with and the kitchen was speedy. My 11 year old liked the pizza also. Thumbs up from the whole family so we will be returning.
We were only in town for the night and found this great place! The food was wonderful, drinks refreshing and great atmosphere! Service was wonderful as well!
Great Venue, delicious food, table of 4 and each ordered and shared, all wonderful! The lamb ragu was spectacular! Felt prices were comparable to other local restaurants. Highly recommend!

Neighborhood ladies had pizza here after a great event at Common Ground Coffeehouse. Great service! Had a veggie pizza and a Hawaiian, both of which I would have again. (Plus they have a good Sangiovese by the glass).
The food was delicious! My husband had the meat pizza and I had the Eggplant Parmesan. Both were outstanding :) My only wish is they would take reservations. I recommend not going on a Friday or Saturday night as the restaurant is very crowded and loud.
Great food...had salads and pizza! Great drinks...i reccomend the Sicilian margarita YUM!
Service was quick and friendly!
What a wonderful place, awesome look and feel! Pizza was amazing from the beautiful Marra Forni wood fired oven that is placed right there for all to watch and enjoy.
Will definitely return whenever I am even close! :)
We loved the pizza and lasagna. Our server Jeremiah was great with suggestions and was attentive and friendly.
Been there for lunch and dinner. From the sandwiches, pizza and drinks everything has always been consistently delicious. Their ingredients come locally and the management and bar tenders are dopeeeeeeeeeee. Wiggggityyy wigggityyyy
This is a very nice pizza place that is very popular for good reasons. First of all, the pizza is a thick one with lots of cheese and tomato and a delicious crust. We had the Pepperoni and Mushroom Pizza. It was delicious and chock full of Pepperoni and mushrooms. Our server was very friendly and the service was good. I will definitely go back to this place!
First time here. It was a really great experience. Our waitress was very friendly and knowledgeable. The food was very enjoyable. We got appetizers wings, cheese bread, and cheese sticks. We also got pizzas meat, combination, mushroom/pepperoni, and margarita. Everything was great. Will return.
We truly enjoyed eating at Hearth for the first time this past weekend. Delicious food! Try the mozzarella sticks, caprese tomato salad and meatball appetizers to start. The wood fired margherita pizza was very good. Nice atmosphere as well. Reasonable prices.
Excellent pizza, salads, drinks. Fun atmosphere, huge wood fire oven behind the bar, rear of restaurant has windows 2 series high. They actually were turning people away on a Tues night since it was so busy!
Top tier pizza. The crust tears like a pizza this style should and the sauce and cheese are high quality and absolutely delicious. Staff were great too. All around great place. They have cheap options for kids too.
What made this a great experience was watching how the staff worked as a team, especially the young gal who seated us. She was doing everything from host to set up to the server! 💪🏻
The restaurant is centered around a vast wall and Italian pizza oven with seating right in front, and if you're lucky, you may see a toss or two! Several flats to watch the games. Bar seating is limited.
The white sangria was perfect, and the margarita pizza was exceptional and big enough for two to share. House salad we split and did the trick.
Our waitress was a sweetheart and very helpful and she was rewarded for her great service!
✌🏽❤️😀
Overall: Great option for pizza on the main Beaufort strip.
The good: Great wood fired pizzas with charred, chewy crusts. We went several times over a weekend it was that good. Healthy amount of toppings on both the BBQ chicken and fennel sausage pizzas, which came out hot and ready when brought to our table. The mozzerella sticks also really hit the spot. We wouldn't have gotten them if we didn't see someone else order them, but they were worth the money (usually mozz sticks aren't). Varied menu and the staff was friendly and attentive.
The not-so-good: Prices are a little high.
Food/drink: 9/10
Atmosphere: 9/10
Service: 9/10
Great wood fired pizza. Kids pizza was a good size portion. Service was also quick. Everyone enjoyed their meal. The half salad and half pizza was the perfect portion.
mozzarella sticks were delicious! as well as the margarita pizza! we had Hailey as our waiter, she was amazing and so very sweet and patient. atmosphere was very calm and ambient, was very nice watching them make the food infront of us.
The meatball appetizer was a group favorite, though the caprese salad was only fine. The regular pizzas were super good but the gluten free crust was only fine. My wife loved the barbecue chicken pizza and my daughter loved the shroomage.
Best meal in Beaufort. Great food great service. We had pasta dishes, pizza, and apps and everything was on point. Great selection of beers and a solid affordable wine list.
Stopped in the other night for a quick bite before our ghost tour. The kids love this place, and have been here several times with friends. It was a first visit for my wife and I. Will definitely not be out last! The fritto misto app was great--loved the shrimp in with the calamari, good portion of both. The sauce was tasty too. The 'Shroomage pizza was hands down one of the best pizzas I have had in a long, long time! Not for you obviously, if you don't like mushrooms, but so good. Going back soon to try more tasty options.

Outstanding place we definitely come here when I get the chance and when I'm in the area I highly recommend this place everyone else to all the food is actually very good and this isn't just a whatever Pizza Place. My wife had found this and I figured why not try it from all the restaurants I've been to in Jersey this is pretty high up with all the other good ones we've ever been to
Cool little restaurant! They cook the pizza right in the middle of the dining room. Pizza was pretty good (though a bit burned). Fettuccine Alfredo wasn't anything to write home about but the Bruschetta was good.
Visiting town and we were brought here by a local. Great food, great service and atmosphere.
We split the meat and cheese board which was delightful! Then I had a BBQ Chicken pizza. So good!!
Would definitely go there again when in town!
Cabin meets coast. Hearth Wood Fire Pizza is a must in Beaufort. The restaurant is fresh and eccentric. The exposed oven is the perfect centerpiece to the restaurant. Arrive with a big appetite and prepare to leave happy and full.
Hands down the best pizza I've had pretty much anywhere. You have the option of sitting at the bar and watching them cook the pizzas in their wood fired oven. They've got a lot of specialty pizzas (as well as lasagna, wings, etc), but you can order the basics too. Their pizza is so flavorful, I can usually down a whole one just by myself.
Service is also incredibly friendly. Just recently got engaged and they treated us to a celebratory dessert. This place is just the best.
