Birthday lunch today was at Pappadeaux’s in Beaumont on Walden Rd and IH-10. I don’t come here often so I was excited to go. Trent was our waiter and he was absolutely the best. He was friendly, humorous, accommodating and kept us smiling. We started off with appetizers. When you can’t make up your mind you get all the ones you want.I ordered the Mozzarella Cheese Sticks, the ones on steroids. They are monstrous in size, but so very delicious. Pockets of stringy, delicious cheese inside a crispy crust. This was served with a spicy marinara sauce to bathed these cheese logs in. These are without a doubt the Mercedes Benz of fried cheese. Along with the cheese sticks we ordered the baked Crab Mac and Cheese. This creamy delight is a meal all by itself. It consisted of a bowl of Italian Orecchiette (ear shaped) pasta tossed with fresh crabmeat, in a three cheese cream sauce with buttered bread crumbs. This pasta was a perfect cradle for the rich cheesy sauce. What could be more delicious than this. My husband ordered the lump crab and spinach dip with garlic bread. Beautiful presentation and he didn’t stop eating until the bowl was clean.
For the entrées I ordered Cajun Combo (with substitutions). It’s a blackened catfish fillet, with dirty rice and shrimp creole. I substituted the shrimp creole for shrimp étouffée. This was on the lunched menu and it was huge for $18.95. This dish was bursting with all types of blacken and creole flavors. The dirty rice was packed with savory goodness and comfort delight. So much food i brought over half of it home.
My grandson ordered the Pasta Mardi Gras, with an absolutely gorgeous presentation. It was linguine tossed with crawfish, andouille sausage and mushrooms in a marinara cream sauce with jumbo grilled shrimp for $18.95. He cleaned his bowl so it must have been good.
Lastly, we shared an absolutely awesome dessert. We had bread pudding, à la mode (ice cream on top). A rich, cinnamon flavored bread pudding with raisin, warm on the inside and a crispy crust on top. This was a pastry masterpiece and we enjoyed every bite. I’ll be dreaming of this sweet delicacy for quite some time. A dessert made in heaven.
My entire experience today was wonderful from the greeters to the wait staff and also including the food. Pappadeaux’s is pricey but oh so good. It was the highlight of my day and I enjoyed it all. I did fine out that anyone 62 and older can dine on lunch menu prices all day. Yay!!!!! That right there is a plus for me. Check out Pappadeauz’s when you can. It is an approved Best Bites
I really enjoyed my time at Pappadeaux it was my second time there see I live in Houston and I went to Beaumont to be with family and we went out to eat at Pappadeaux the food was really good and the service was awesome the waitress was very good and kind I would Recommend anybody to go in there and enjoy a meal.....The food was very very delicious
Delicious seafood gumbo and bloody Mary’s. Our server, Christopher was excellent. We were just passing through; but great lunch choice.
Had the best waiter ever! Great job Kyle Reid! We brought my husbands grandfather who is on hospice and wanted oysters. Kyle was so kind and was really patient and kind.

The food was delicious, and our waiter Kyle was very attentive, knowledgeable, and friendly. We will definitely return.
We are in town for the Lady's in Leather Bike Rally and decided to stop in here to eat. Greeted with a smile and seated as soon as we walked in, drinks came out in a timely manner. We got the Crab and Spinach appetizer which was very good. For lunch I had the Ginger Glazed Salmon and my wife had the Crispy Salmon and Jumbo Crab. Both dishes were so delicious, the crispy dish is quite a bit so bring your appetite also the noodles have a bit of spice to them. Don't get me wrong the Ginger Salmon was filling enough for me just not as much as the Crispy. Of course I had to go with the Out of the Office drink, I tried it at the spot by my home so I knew I was getting something good. Most likely we will be going back here, I want to get some of the steak and lobster, just hope they don't run out with this Rally bringing in allot of people and the host hotel being right across the street.
This was our first time to eat here. It was a little pricey but The food was amazing and our waitress was very kind and attentive. We went for our anniversary dinner and received a free desert! We will definitely be back. They also have a really pretty outdoor dining area as well

Very cozy atmosphere. Service was perfect. Met all our needs and surpass them. And the food was absolutely amazing. Will definitely go back.
We did take out and it was pretty good. The food is fresh and utensils were added. They were really fast as far as bringing the food out.definitely recommend
Some of the best food in the area, you can never go wrong here. Steaks are great but I prefer the seafood, especially the redfish, pair it with the red beans and rice and it doesn't get any better

First time visitor and I was very impressed with the whole environment....waitress was very pleasant knew about the enue which help very much and his recommendations 😀 I enjoyed my meal and very reasonable 😀 😊
Deserve 4.5 stars, we enjoyed the outing.
If getting fried food ask for double fry.
Nice and friendly atmosphere for family and friends, spacious and lots of seating, I believe it is pricey. Food is good, but for me, it was a little salty and greasy.
