Butter chicken and chicken tandoori were very good. The Naan was excellent. Will pass on the mango lassi next time; was not cold enough for my taste.
Butter chicken is offered in 3 spice levels - mild, medium, and hot. We ordered the hot. Very good flavors but didn’t need the sneaky heat. Next time, we’ll go with the medium to fully enjoy the flavors.
Chicken Tandoori - a lot of chicken and veggies for the price. Very tasty.
Samosas had a little heat to them but still very enjoyable.
There was a wedding party that took up about half the restaurant. The waitress was apologetic as this was our first time. The music was a little loud, the MC was bombing with many of his jokes, but the music, dancing, and dressed up patrons just made the experience that much more authentic.
We will definitely be returning. Glad we finally decided to try it.
BTW, there is no dinner buffet.
Update: The Butter Chicken medium heat was just right, flavorful and savory without the heat.
Authentic Indian food and my first time to try Nepalese! My server actually brought me a few samples to help me decide, (her idea, not mine!) Everything was delicious and the atmosphere is very pleasant.
Excellent food and service! We are big fans of butter chicken and that was one of the best which we tried in Dallas ! Yours Naan bread is also amazing.Highly recommend and will be back! Lunch for two $30
DEE-LISH-OUS! I am not an expert on Indian food, but this is hands down the best I've ever had. We eat here often, and everything I've tried is great. Try the Tikka Masala, my favorite.
I came with a large party of about 15 people but that didn’t effect the exceptional service and food. We were all served our dishes at the same time and the servers were attentive. I ordered the butter chicken (hot) with naan and a mango lassi. The food was flavorful and the closest I’ve had to authentic Indian cuisine in the DFW! The heat level was appropriate and the thick yogurt consistency of the mango lassi helped to cool down the heat in between bites. Definitely a place I would check out again to try more of the dishes.
Good eating joint and we got a chance to try out Nepalese dishes. Very nice people and food was good. Every dish we ordered was from the Nepalese menu and our favorite was the peanut sadeko in appetizers. Fried fish was also tasty. The biriyani has good spice to it. Veg thali was the only dish we did not like, but nothing wrong with the food, it was not what we expected.
Must visit atleast once and hopefully they dont have a party gooing in the next room and that will help with your orders getting on the table in time.
I have gone to this place in multiple events / i also had food catered from this restaurant in my various friends house parties.I like the food quality, food does taste like authentic nepali food. Since i have not gone there just for lunch/ dinner in restaurant so i dont know the service and food preparation time.
