My colleague and I had a nice first experience at Pearl. We dined in the bar and the waitress was really friendly and knowledgeable about the menu. They were out of 3 different bubbles/wine we had picked on the menu, but we finally found something listed on the menu that they actually had inventory of. We ordered multiple items. The octopus was very over cooked, as well as the shrimp. The goat cheese was a little odd as it was rolled in herbs (not described that way on the menu) and there were a lot of stems. The bread was also very greasy. However, we did love the veggies. The broccolini, asparagus and salad were all home runs. Oyster sample was delicious as well. Sablefish was cooked perfectly with delicious crab dumplings. The sauce was a perfect accompaniment. Pearl is in downtown Bellevue so parking is limited to the near by garages, but the ambiance of the restaurant is nice and the service we received was 5 star. Overall, the food we ordered was hit or miss but I would go back and give some of the other items a try.

We celebrated our anniversary dinner here and the food was just fabulous, the service was great, the ambiance was very nice. This restaurant is the perfect choice for special occasions. Parking was also validated. I've posted pics of the food that wet ordered.

Delightful experience, our waiter, a Riaz was hilarious and incredibly charming. We had this whole debacle and how to pronounce, "Thyme."I ordered the Thyme Warp, which was this delicious drink with St. Germaine, fresh thyme, lemon, and Bombay Gin. A customer tried correcting him on the pronunciation and we bonded over customer service and silly interactions we get throughout the day. Riaz who was excellent, observant and witty, gave great suggestions, gave a heads up on the open face sandwich (the best, most tender steak on this drenched toast with fresh juicy tomatoes and Bleu cheese). The steak sandwich came with onion rings and fries. One of the drinks we ordered was the Pearl Cosmo with Effen Vodka, sparkling wine and rosemary syrup, really delicious, bold in flavors, but the after taste was my favorite part. They only had kushi oysters, but that wasn't any problem. They're some of my favorite anyways. The mignonette to accompany them was absolutely fantastic. I want to come back when they have the other oysters available. Our first dish though with the steaming hot polenta cake with the mushroom medley and truffle oil was superb. I would definitely come here again. I heard their Happy Hour is on fleek.

Fresh seafood and good service. I know that the price is high but it's a seafood restaurant and they are fresh. Also you have no need to crack them yourself. They came cracked and ready to eat. I think it's worth the price.

Upscale and very pricey, but decent food quality and good taste. We came with a large group and were seated in a dedicated room which was great. The appetizers were good for sharing. I did not like the truffle fries very much, as they were too thick for my taste. Their thinkness was mentioned on the menu though, so just a personal thing. The seafood as well as the steaks were very good and everyone got their food at the same time which shows the kitchen's professional and abilitiy to deal with a larger group. As Pearl is more on the pricy side (the scallop entree was around 40$), I am rating 4 stars for the overall experience.

Great ambiance. Very classy. The seafood is delicious as well. The restaurant can be hard to find, it's across the street from the cheesecake factory and next to the hotel.

Pearl has become one of five go to establishemnets in Bellevue. 4 .34576 out of 5.00000 stars. Beverages... they have a fine selection of signature cocktails and 2 dollars off during HH in the Bar. I'm typically a 'Gasping Gin Martini' Dude, but their Shiso Wild Drop is awesome; a tad sweet but easily down-able. Wine selection is in line with most high end resturants. Appetizers... THE Roasted Pork Belly is absolutely the quintessential small plate to get. It would Turn a Vegan into a full fledged Carnivore. I'm certain that that will insight the Vegans reading this to be appalled... well that just means there'll be more for me. Only negative is that the portion size seems to have shrunk by about 50%... Just say'n when we first started going and getting this amazing starter it was enough for two even four if you just wanted a taste. Now shared by two its 'Just a Taste'. Mains... The Pan-Roasted Free Range 1/2 Chicken is fabulous. The Chiopino is good but could be turned up a notch for or five in heating as in Spicy. The Scallops were cooked just right. Deserts... No comment on this, basically due mostly in part to I rarely partake in deserts and I prefer savory. Did I mention that Pear Resturant is also in welcoming and friendly Bellevue; you know the place that wants you to come visit and shop and eat and finds a way not to make parking abhorently difficult or expensive. Oh, did I mention that parking was free, 3hour validated valet parking. Maybe Seattle could learn something, D'Oh what am I thinking its impossible... then that's another story.
