Last night was my first time there, my boyfriend used to be a busboy there when he was young and wanted to bring me for the amazing food. I was not disappointed!
Our first date as an official couple was memorable in so many ways. We were seated and ordered drinks, I got the cinnamon pear sangria. When the drinks came back to the table we placed our food order and then all of a sudden, the fire alarm went off and the whole place had to evacuate! (Good thing I brought my drink outside with me! It was really good, had actual pears in it and cinnamon on top. Highly recommend if you’re looking for a light fruity drink.)
Once the firemen showed up and gave the all clear, we went back in and had one of the best meals I’ve eaten. My boyfriend got the Chicken Parm, and he loved it. I got the red sauce frutti de mare. Huge portions sizes for both! My sauce was excellent and the seafood was all very fresh and cooked well. I took about half of it home because they give you so much! I loved the flavor of mine, it’s one of the better frutti de mares I’ve tried.
Wait staff was really nice and apologetic about the alarm, but friendly throughout. I loved our waitress, she was easy to joke with and make suggestions. Definitely coming back here again, mostly because the food and our awesome waitress �
We were able to dine on the patio the service was excellent the food was very good. Our waitress Jennifer was excellent. The patio was great so glad it had stopped raining. Highly recommend it.
I attended a wedding here and the place is beautiful! Great bartenders, waitstaff could use a little more training(in all fairness, they looked a little young), & food was great. Only thing I was displeased about was the waitstaff stripping down the tables as soon as the lights went up. Guests still had personal items on the tables, & the bride & groom were still in the room. Overall, it’s a beautiful place for a special event, & I’m definitely going back to have dinner on the killer back patio.

Went there for dinner. Food was excellent, drinks were delicious, (highly recommend the Apple Sangria) and waitstaff is on top of everything. With just enough room left for dessert I had the Creme Brûlée! It was the perfect end to a fantastic night!
Excellent atmosphere and food was great. Will definitely make one of our favorites when looking to go out for dinner. Want to try more on the menu. Hopefully as good as the Portuguese Calamari and Sirloin Tips.
Great atmosphere and delicious food! Outdoor patio was also gorgeous and the bar prices where very fair. We will definitely be returning
Truly a place deserving of 5 stars. Wonderful friendly service, many excellent menu choices and, never a complaint about the food. They know how to make a good drink too. A perfect Gibson every time!
Uh BEST baked haddock I’ve ever eaten... thankful my daughter picked this place for Father’s Day, I had never been. I will be going back...
My husband and I got married here last year and went back to have dinner last night on our Anniversary! Beautiful wedding here and excellent Anniversary dinner! I highly recommend it here for your wedding or just for a dinner you will never forget!!
Second time coming to Coachmens Lodge, and it was amazing once again. We went for our 5 year wedding anniversary. They accommodated my request to sit by the water. It was beautiful. The food was delicious!! Great service, and even though the place was busy, we didn’t wait long for any of our appetizers or our meal. Calamari is amazing, the wings were incredible and juicy. Brisket over mashed and asparagus, perfect. It’s our favorite spot. Will definitely be going back again in the future.

Had a wonderful wedding reception on July 17 after getting married in January. Having booked it for January before COVID, Dani and the venue were very helpful in helping me reschedule the date to a time in the summer. Because of the delay, we were able to use the new outdoor, covered patio along with the Four Seasons room. We had access to the beautiful grounds and were ready to have lawn games but the storms thought otherwise. Even with the pouring rain, we were still able to take our family pictures outside in the covered patio. The venue was immaculate and the food amazing! Food was piping hot and the passed appetizers were huge! We really enjoyed the bite size french onion bowls and Baked Stuffed fish. Food was served family style at my choosing and honestly, it was presented well. Not just food thrown in a bowl! The wait staff were attentive and helpful. There was plenty of food to go around. With about 85 people, we had plenty of room for a dance floor, dj and 4 piece band. All in all it was a great night and working with Dani and Coachmen's was a great experience.

Outdoor Fine Dining.
This place is expensive, however the food was top tier. I got the baked haddock which was so tender and flavorful.
Alcohol is not skipped when making the drinks either!
Our waitress was extremely entertaining, outspoken, and attentive. We did have our own cake for a celebration and the location was very accommodating. They placed it in the fridge while we ate and delivered it table side when we were ready.
Unfortunately there were bees, this is to be expected during an outdoor dining experience, however I personally cannot handle them well. I ended up spilling my drink (which was replaced at no cost). I understand there is not much the location can do, but my experience was certainly impacted.
Dani, Don and I cannot thank you enough! Abbie and Josh’s wedding was spectacular! Your attention to detail and the helpful spirit of yourself and your staff was incredible. Our guests had an amazingly joyful experience! As did all of the bridal party and kids.
We were so happy to return Sunday the fifth of June, to the Coachman’s bar and patio. They were closed for quite a while at the bar due to Covid. Pleasantly surprised to see our favorite bartender, Mel! We have known her for fifteen years and she has found a home here. Mel is the consummate professional!
The food was great as always and from the bar you can see the phenomenal cooks hard at work! We also met Bill the owner and his sidekick.Bill has designed the exterior tree /shrub landscape design over the years , all overlooking a beautiful pond. Creating a wonderful
Atmosphere. Thank you to all the hard workers at Coachman’s Lodge!! A finely tuned performance and execution. Great job very much appreciated. Best wishes for a great season and new entertainment.

We went to the Coachmen's Lodge for the outside dining last night (Sunday). The bar and grounds are so beautiful, but the best part was the wonderful bartender, Melissa, who was so friendly and welcoming. We were fortunate that we were seated at a bar table and it happened to be Melissa's table. She was a great server and gave us good suggestions on ordering. I got the chicken parm with ziti and it was great. My husband got the pork chop with mashed potatoes and grilled asparagus and fell in love with the dish. Both meals were very generous portions. We both started with salads and once again fabulous. With dinner I ordered a Cosmopolitan and it was such a tasty drink made just the way I like it. So to sum it up, it was a perfect night/dinner at the Coachmen's. We will be back very soon.
