Moon Dog is simply the best. Their drinks and baked goods are amazing. Their food is well crafted, well sourced and delicious. The service is friendly, prompt and accommodating. The atmosphere is warm, cozy and welcoming. If you just want to stop in for a delicious beverage or a full blown meal, you won't be disappointed, either way. They also have a small section dedicated to well crafted goodies. Shirts, colognes, hats, soaps, etc. I always enjoy my experience at Moon Dogs and will continue to support them, always!

We were coming from Ct and driving through and decided to just stop in. I can only say what an incredible find! We both had the French toast and it was outstanding and visually beautifully plated. I wish I could remember the waitress’s name but can’t! She was friendly and seemed to do everything with a smile! On our way back we detoured to go again. Of course my husband had to have the French Toast again but I opted for the heavenly chicken salad on a popover. We are going back in the fall… forget the foliage we are hitting MoonDog Cafe! Food was delicious. Plate presentation was nice. Friendly bohemian atmosphere. Good portions you will leave with a full stomach. You could almost order one meal to feed two persons. Their meals are plated "Picture Perfect" Also we met Otis also a pleasure to meet. Please check this place out if you are in the area and want a nice place to dine in. We stopped in for breakfast. Thanks and enjoy!

Absolutely delicious homemade food with locally sourced ingredients. Great atmosphere and friendly staff. I almost never write reviews but I feel the world should know what they’re missing. If you’re in or around Bellows Falls, this this place is definitely worth a stop.

Fun, funky, and friendly (and that's not just the free muffin talking). It's a rare restaurant that has good food and good coffee and Moon Dog has both. We met friends there for breakfast and had a great time. The food was good and our waitress was delightful. The owner made us feel welcome and even though we lingered for a while we never felt rushed. They are both vegan and carnivore friendly so no food issues with our varied group. It's casual and the prices are reasonable.

Usually i give everyone 5 stars - because i am not a big review guy. This place is different - it is REALLY 5 stars. I tend to get the same eggs/toast/hash browns everywhere i go. This (simple) breakfast put them all to shame. Best breakfast around.

We found this cute little Cafe while in VT and I'm so glad we did. Not only was the food delicious (apple cinnamon French toast was incredible and the sausage breakfast sandwich was so yummy) but the service and atmosphere were fantastic.

Beyond my expectations! Creative culinary delights. WIde array of choices ... from the menu and "specials" alike. Ample portions! Reasonably priced. Boast of using fresh and local products as well. Inviting and comfortable setting with vintage porcelain top tables. Premise includes a small "market" area with a variety of international and domestics items! Delightfully warm staff; owner was actively interactive with the patrons! After enjoying the "daily special" -- a marinated portablello mushroom sandwich with caramelized onions and melted Vermont cheese -- sampled a slice of the lemon lavender cake. The cake was a lovely blend of flavors, reminded me of a Victorian treat, dense yet light; soft and velvety frosting; not overly sweet; quite delectable. Can't wait to return and bring friends... and try another menu item! This eating establishment is a hidden gem!

We were passing through town and stumbled into the Moon Dog Cafe. Absolutely delicious dishes. The combo of the peppers and spinach in the egg burrito special was absolutely phenomenal. Even something as basic as a grilled cheese they got right. Service was welcoming, food was hot and served fast. Would recommend to anyone looking for a quaint New England cafe to grab a bite to eat!

A hidden gem. We came up for the day and visited Moon Dog cafe for lunch. The food was fresh homemade and delicious. The service was excellent though I couldn’t help noticing how the nice lady who waited on us seemed to be a little overworked. She covered all the tables in a full cafe, ran the register , coffee area and bakery. I was totally impressed with her stamina! We will definitely be back!!!

We stumbled across this little gem on our way to Killington. We are so glad we did. We had a fantastic breakfast! The ambiance here is very cozy. Great music and service. The French toast…wow! The homemade whipped cream was much appreciated. The breakfast burrito was also tasty.
