My first time going there for a work dinner. The food was delicious!! The portions were nice i had left overs for the next day. The place is small and very popular and there was no parking available but there's a shopping center across so no big deal.
The food was great, but the service was frustrating. The server was not confident in the recommendations we asked for. Additionally, she was quick to throw her co-workers under the bus. I ordered a martini while my companion ordered a dessert. We had a direct line of sight to both the server's computer for inputting orders and the bartender. 5 minutes later, while our server was having a great time with other servers at their computer, my drink had already been made and was sitting at the bar. The dessert came out shortly after that. Drink was still sitting at the bar.
After my companion finished their dessert, my drink was still sitting at the bar. Then the server grabbed it and came to my table with the drink stating "sorry, the kitchen moves faster than our bartender."
The drink's whipped cream had melted by that point. While still delicious, it was frustrating to have paid $200 for our check. I feel bad that the bartender has co-workers like this one.

The staff at Avino’s- Meredith and Gabby helped me plan a bridal shower from Florida for my daughter. We held the event this Saturday, June 11 and I am sooo happy I chose this restaurant. Our waitress Jenna was so sweet and helped make the shower a huge success. The food was delicious, the outside tent which we decorated was perfect and the champagne table and special occasion cake added an extra nice touch. Had a family 40th Anniversary dinner on Saturday evening. The staff at Avino’s are just wonderful to work with, so accommodating and professional! Our server was so pleasant and went above and beyond to make this occasion so very special! Would highly recommend!
This restaurant has been here for decades, and it's not a secret why - both the food and the service is impeccable and way above average. I had the salmon which was served on a bed of lentils with carrots and celery. It was perfectly seasoned and cooked to a juicy crispness not often found w salmon, which can b dry if not cooked properly. Our whole table was very happy with their meals, and we've already made planes to return very soon! This place is amazing!
Doesn't get better than this. Too notch, quaint, classy place. Went here and made plans for my 25th Anniversary. They had cold Champagne ready at a real nice table. Service was great, very attentive and courteous. Antipasto was fresh and sliced to order, baked clams were delicious, hate to sound cheesy but they were the best I've had. Wife got a chicken scallopini, i got a stellar steak and shrimp scampi-surf and Turf, after dinner drinks, wife got a Tirimisu martini, I had a 15 yr scotch, finished with a Tirimisu for dessert. Cant wait to go back. Food was , hot, fresh and cooked perfectly.
Been wanting to try this place for a while. It did not disappoint. Excellent. Everything. Lobster stuffed mushrooms a must. The specials were amazing. The desserts fantastic. It has been a long time since a restaurant experience was so satisfying. Will definitely be back.

Okay, here's the deal. I showed up on a Wednesday night at like, 7:30(?) and McKenzie was just absolutely, hands down, one of the best Hostesses I've encountered on this Island so far. It takes a LOT to be a gracious, competent and friendly host and if I'm Avino's I'd do anything in my power to keep her!
Jess helped clear my table and Frank in the bar was a phenomenal Bartender. It's a fine line when you need to balance a service bar with tickets and your own crowd and he did so flawlessly!
The Smoke Show cocktail was EXACTLY what I wanted/ expected, the Pan Seared Scallops special was something I could eat every single day, AND they have port wine.
I may have just moved into town, but part of me wonders if I might just move into this place as a regular! absolutely a homerun and if you've looked for a quaint, quiet, clean, friendly place to get an intimate dinner with some of the best dishes I've seen on a menu on this island [6 states and counting] then get here, soon!

We had dinner on September 9@ 7:30pm. Our waitress was Florencia P. she was absolutely great as well as our bus boy ( did not get his name). Our dinner consisted of Zuppa mussels & fried calamari with the spices cherry tomato sauce. The sauce is as advertised SPICEY, my bourbon cocktail helped cool things down. For dinner, we had the Pappardelle Bolognese & the Shrimp & Mussels Fra Diavolo, I also ordered the Wedge. I had the spices dishes. The food was outstanding. The wedge and some of my dinner were " human bagged" to take home. The dinner was quite filling, being it was my birthday celebration we opted for dessert, the creme Brule. We let our waitress know it was a birthday dinner one day late. When she brought the dessert, my plate had happy birthday written in chocolate. It was a fantastic dinner. If you go to Avino's for dinner, know that if you read a menu from right to left, Avino's is not your place. With that said, the food and service is well worth the price. Avino's states that dinner is about 1 and a half hour to 2 hours. There's a reason for that. You are never rushed to finnish a course. If you like great food & service and being treated like family & price is not an issue then Avino's Family Table restaurant is for you.

Food and desserts are absolutely amazing and fresh. Wonderful selection of wine and the mixed drinks were so good. Staff and diners were all so nice and welcoming. Definitely recommend coming here!
Such a great place to dine. Indoors, outdoors, all welcome. Our food was mint, wait staff was friendly, I highly recommend.
Went twice in 2 weeks. Once for birthday dinner & once for restaurant week. Food was terrific both times and so was the service.

And we're back. Great food and service. I had the Pork Milanese. Out of this world. The Rustica salad was delicious. Cappuccino and dessert was excellent. Great little date spot. Tell 'em Barsnobs sent ya!

One of the best dining experiences. We had baked clams, chicken veggie soup & Uncle Leo’s chicken dish. Big portions. Delicious food. Excellent service. This is a converted house. We sat in the back at a table for two. Very romantic. Noise level was very low.
The meals were delicious. Our waitress was professional and friendly. Definitely would recommend Avino's to friends and family.
Came here for a rehearsal dinner and the experience was pretty decent. Bread took forever to come out but the appetizers were very good. Rice balls and eggplant were great. The staff was nice and the place is so cute inside!
The Take out food seems lacking. Every time I order something gets messed up. However if you dine in the food is much better. I question the cleanliness though, I had a raw calamari tentacle in my water glass on a recent visit. And that is something I do not eat
