Bottom line: Good food, good value. A solid choice for take-out BBQ
Pros: it's pretty good BBQ, the sides are what you'd expect, the portions are generous for BBQ, and I think their prices have them firmly very good value territory.
Cons: you aren't sure if they are open for business or not, they don't take phone calls, it's not easy to tell if their premises are occupied or not, and the staff is a bit grouchy.
Great BBQ, wonderful smoky flavor! Love their chicken and pork, ribs are amazing!
Little place that really does a great job catering and shares the bounty with those of us hankering for a good BBQ. Hours can change so pay attention.
Great food at a fair price, try them out!

If you haven't tried their hot, open faced sandwiches or their seafood mac and cheese, you MUST! The seafood mac and cheese is loaded with seafood, including lots of lobster, and is so creamy and cheesy! It's absolutely amazing! If you haven't tried the sandwiches, they are like no other. My personal favorite is the brisket on rye, but my husbands is the turkey on white. I highly suggest you give this place a try, if you haven't already. We come from Wyoming for their food, because it's just that good! They definitely know what they are doing on the grill and in the kitchen! Check them out, there's a reason they are thriving! 👍🏼👍🏼👏🏼
Good food! Had the grilled chicken sandwich combo for $15. Came with 2 sides. Baked beans and cheesy potatoes.
We stopped here on 11/26/23, 4:45 p.m. on our way home from a long day in Grand Rapids, and the only word that I could think of and the only word that keeps popping in my head is excellent.
If you're in the area and you're in the mood for something delicious and moderately priced, then stop in and grab some delicious smoky goodness.

Beef Brisket Chili - full of flavor, beans, and big chunks of brisket. A nice, filling, hearty meal. No tortilla chips or crackers for this one...excellent.
Loaded Mashed Potatoes - you could taste every single ingredient and probably the best potatoes I've ever had...excellent.
The Beef and Cheddar Sausage - great flavor heavy on the smoke, which is not a bad thing. I really liked it. I only bought one link, but now i wish i had more...excellent.
The Italian Wedding Soup - Erin really liked it. She wasn't planning on eating all of it last evening, but it was so good that she couldn't stop herself. I took a sip of the broth and it was really good. I may have to make some here at home...excellent.
This is a take out only bbq joint that’s been selling smoked products for a few years now but this is my first encounter. No pictures but here’s my take on the items I tried. The brisket was the equal to my previous number one choice in GR. It was smoky and moist, nice ring, with just the right fatty goodness in most slices. The slices were fresh for my order and cut just right. The ribs were had good smoke and were pretty good although I would prefer more rub. The sausage was jalopeno-cheddar and was less successful. I would not order again unless a more traditional variety is on offer. The burnt ends ok if a bit dry in some pieces. I’m not a big burnt end fan anyway. The cornbread served with each plate way too sweet for me. I tried the slaw too and found it creamy and crunchy. If you like bbq you’ll love this place.
Ya know. Iv been coming here for yesrs and years and it’s always just the best. I work real hard these days and sure it can’t be an everyday thing but I feel my dollars well spent when I come here. Usualy can’t wait till I get home so they have a barrel for me to eat off of and I really enjoy it.

Delicious food served fast by great people! This BBQ is incredible! I had pulled pork, burnt ends, macaroni and cheese and cheesy potatoes along with corn bread.
Awesome food and very friendly staff. I've tried several different choices and have enjoyed them all so far. The sides are all very good as well. Plenty of great barbeque sauce options, too. You should try it!
1st time getting food from here and I have to say I wasn't disappointed. Everything was really great.
Our first time visiting and we were very pleased! The line was a few people long when we pulled in, but we were served very promptly. We ordered the chicken, pork and got a slab of ribs. Ordered the cheesy potatoes and coleslaw for sides. I can understand why they sell 60,000 pounds of cheesy potatoes a year! Coleslaw was very fresh tasting. Prices were very reasonable. We will definitely visit again!

Aaaaammmmaaaazing. Generous portions, great prices, and thats just after opening the box. Then I started eating... you can tell how much care goes into the meat here. The turkey; moist, tender flavorful, and goes perfectly with the cherry sauce. The brisket; my wife wouldn’t share so I’m guessing she like it. The ribs; normally I don’t go in for ribs, the return on investment(cost and mess) isn’t worth it to me, but these were. Tender and sooo much flavor. Cornbread; I would come here just for this. We also had the mac n cheese and cheesy potatoes, both great. Will definitely be returning to try the rest of the menu.

Finally a southern BBQ in the north. Classic order and go. Great bark on the burnt ends, nice and tender meat. Classic but still not your jar BBQ sauce. The mac and cheese could been the meal alone! The broccoli sald had flavor, sweet but savory with crunchy broccoli, fantastic. The corn bread was the cherry on top, crispy but yet moist. If they had jalapeño corn bread would order a whole pan of it!!! No need to order online or call in was in and out in less than 5 min.
