Heirloom is a fantastic place and very fine dining in Belmont. I have been here several times and every time I was pleased that I chose them. The people are friendly and professional. Service is amazing, so is the food of course. They have great option for plant based meals. A must place to visit for vegan folks and any visitors or residents.

My wife and I visited this establishment and it was incredible. David (it’s been a few days but I believe that was the waiters name on the 25) took extremely good care of us. His recommendations were on point. Excellent attention to our needs and funny/witty to boot. The bartender made some excellent house old fashions and overall it was a truly exceptional experience. Best pork chop I’ve had in years. If I’m ever in Charlotte again I will be visiting heirloom again.

What an incredible dining experience at Heirloom! We were welcomed by every staff member who introduced themselves by name and were so attentive throughout our evening, especially the manager who stopped at every table, connecting and ensuring guests’ needs were met. The restaurant interior design is smart, modern, and hip with brass & pipe fixtures and a beautiful motif of honeycomb wall tiles and bees, which we learned they keep nearby to provide the tastiest honey (the warm rolls with honey butter and sea salt are not to be missed!). We ordered four starters from the new fall Asian inspired menu also demonstrated high degree of attention to taste and presentation! The pork belly was tangy, sweet, crunchy and well presented; the foraged mushroom soup creamy and perfectly balanced. We ordered the pork chop (which was as large as a tomahawk steak) was perfectly cooked and juicy, the duck (served medium rare was tender, juicy) and the Amber Jack fish, which was flaky and tasty! An innovative menu with farm to table freshness evident in every bite. We were so fortunate the chef came out to visit us, which really added a personal touch to our dining experience. Thank you for a great evening!

We went for our wedding anniversary. All of the food is from local farms. Therefore, every bite was with great quality and extremely fresh. The atmosphere and staff were more than delightful. They personalized our menus which had "Happy Anniversary" written at the top. We decided to do the "Chefs Tasting Menu" which allows you to have a 6 course tasting meal based according to your preference. This worked great for us because I don't eat eggs and my husband only eats Kosher. They were able to accommodate us without a problem. Our waiter was friendly and fun. Talking with him felt like talking with an old friend. I can't remember his name but he was from New York and African-American. This was a great experience. The presentation of the food was 1st class and we will visit again. We came across this place from Groupon but will continue to visit because of it's pure excellence.

Heirloom’s attention to detail, quality, and sustainability sets the stage for an unforgettable dining experience. You will not be able to find a better meal in or around Charlotte guaranteed. The menu changes frequently not only to keep things new and exciting, but also adapts to the availability of the freshest ingredients to provide a Michelin level of quality. The wait staff is very attentive and knows the fine details of where the food comes from and how the dishes are prepared. Pictured here is the Red Drum and risotto with mushrooms and a delicious sauce. I would highly recommend this dish and the jalapeño appetizer. All in all, well done!

We did the Chef's tasting, next we would choose our own items. The tasting was OK but there were several items that were not really done well. The beef tip was fatty, corn chowder could have had more corn flavor, and the chicken sausage and rice was lack luster. The ambience was nice, wait staff attentive and wine pairings were good. Our mistake was not asking what the chef's menu was and letting them surprise us.

The food here is excellent! I was lucky enough to get to sample a variety of dishes here at Heirloom and the food is fantastic. ***See images for all items we tried. Stand out was the Confi Duck. Super crispy and tender. I also loved the Coffee rice pudding dessert. Rich and creamy. Chefs are great with speciality diets. Many items can be made gluten free on request -- even the fried chicken and pickles! Also, it was nice to sit outside now that things are opening up. I highly recommend their porch area when the weather is nice.

Went for Mother’s Day brunch and was really pleased. Good service and loved that it’s farm to table. All their seasoning was delicious. We ordered the steak and eggs, shrimp and grits, grilled tomatoes, biscuits and gravy and chicken sandwich. Favorite was the shrimp and grits.

Great attention to detail! I was celebrating my birthday and the menu was printed with a birthday message. We got the tasting menu with wine pairings. They were very flexible to ensure they covered dietary concerns and likes/dislikes. Hannah, our server, knew the menu and could answer our random food questions. Highlights were the fried chicken and burrata with tea bread. Will be back!

Heirloom lives up to its promises. Everything we had was homemade, including the lovely bread and rolls. The wine menu is fantastic, and the bar is, by itself, worth the visit. We will definitely be returning to try out the tasting menu (requires a 24 hour reservation). Lovely place and atmosphere.

They catered a party for our Lake Norman vacation. Professional and exceptionally tasty!!! The salmon was fantastic but the Harissa chicken was epic!! Whole family enjoyed everything. Their crew set it all up and cleaned it all up. No work, all fun.

Absolutely delicious meal from beginning to end!! They just released fall menu featuring locally grown seasonal vegetables, cheeses and meats. Appetizer was apple curry butternut squash and the most incredible burrata dish with genius textures of fried eggplant and crisp kale. Divine! Main course for me was duck breast with carrot purée , puffed farro and seasonal greens. Husband had crawfish pasta. Both were perfectly seasoned and the combination of textures and flavors were magnificent. Will definitely be back and hope you’ll go too to support this true gem in Belmont!!!

I decided to go fine dining for my birthday with my best friend. To go all out, we decided on the 6 course meal with wine pairing. It was the most eye opening experience in terms of food-wine pairing I ever had. Our waiter "Frenchie" was so very knowledgeable and friendly, treated me like a princess the whole night! The menu was printed with a special birthday shout out to me, the chef signed my menu with wishes, we had a complimentary glass of delicious champagne... all of these little things including the delicious, FRESH menu made this night very very special. The service was flowing endlessly, barely any wait time, our glasses always full and our table clean. If you want to have a memorable meal definetely head to Heirloom. They will surely blow you away.

Have you stopped by Heirloom's grand re-opening ? If your bartender isn't giving machine gun Kelly vibes please get with the times . Chad is one of many of the best bartenders here in the Qc. You can't miss him at the bar for he simply stands out & curating some cool cocktails to go along with the look . The devil is in the detail . One thing about me is I'm always going to find something that stands out in an establishment, check out the bee hive wall towards the back . What's a dinner without a good charcuterie board right ? Every dish we tried was very succulent & the fish did something to my tastebuds I didn't even know was possible . Heirloom passes the vibe check , the cocktails here are amazing & that fish was to die for .

We came here with another family and it was truly a treasured experience. Chad was our waiter and he was incredible. He helped us navigate through the menu and I ended up getting the fish of the day which was snapper. This is the best fish of ever had in my life, and the entire experience will be one that I treasure for a long time. Definitely can’t wait to come back. My wife had the honey behave cocktail and it was one of the best gin cocktails I’ve ever had.

Heirloom would be my new favorite if it weren't so far out of my geographical comfort zone (South Charlotte) but it's definitely worth the drive for a special occasion. The building and the decor are unremarkable but pleasant enough. Though I'd call this fine dining, it doesn't feel pretentious or stuffy. Reservations are recommended, though on this night it was pouring down rain and was only half full. Heirloom has easily the most interesting craft cocktail menu I've seen, ever. I had the Manhattan something-or-other and it was fabulous (though at $14 - pricey). The beer and wine offerings are similarly robust. The star here is the 6 course chef's tasting menu ($70) and the accompanying wine pairings ($30) but you can also order a la carte from a somewhat limited but very interesting daily menu. For this level of high quality, locally sourced, organic produce, and farm raised meat, the prices did not seem extraordinary. I had the chefs tasting menu. Though you can specify foods you avoid and the chef will make substitutions, essentially you simply take whatever six dishes are placed before you (including an appetizer, a salad, a soup, a cheese, an entree, and a dessert.) As each course is served the waiter thoroughly explains what it is, the ingredients, and its sourcing. You're also served house made bread with honey-butter made from hives on the restaurant's roof. I was treated to an extra (single bite) dessert, a gift from the chef, and a cookie from the pastry chef "for the road." Silly as it seems, those extra treats seemed very special! Everything I was served was superb with one exception: when the appetizer of two fried frogs was placed before me, I was a bit put off. Whole frogs. Belly up. I'd have liked some warning. The waiter let me know how special they were and suggested I eat only the legs. But still...a little advance notice would have been nice. Nevertheless, Heirloom well exceeded my expectations. The ambience, the food, the service, and the beverages were all excellent and are just the thing for a special occasion meal.
