My first time dining for lunch with my daughter on a Sunday luncheon around 1230noon. First atmospheric impressions were not that pleasant; despite the environment settings and understanding it’s catering to the younger generation; being called a “bistro”, it doesn’t sit well to be called a Sushi Or Japanese cuisine. I have had bad experiences dining at “bistro “ type sushi places, and not sure the name qualifies as a Japanese name or expression; feels more Hawaiian than anything else. The name might be reasons why this place is overlooked as well as being called a “bistro”. On the other hand, the service and quality of food is terrific. I ordered yellow curry and gyoza fried, and tried their Clemson Tiger roll, very delicious and melts in your mouth; the waiter stated as a Belmont local favorite. Very friendly and professional staff, and very clean and organized. I’m just turned off by the name. I will revisit on their busy nights to see if there is any difference with quality and service, strongly recommend coming here for fresh quality sushi and hot dishes. Expect to bring a heavy wallet, for just my daughter and I, with tip, I spent about $68.00 for lunch, so depends what you order and who you dine with, enjoy.

Very yummy sushi, fast service. We ordered several rolls and they were well made and fresh. The fried ice cream was surprisingly very delicious.

Best Asian cuisine in the entire Charlotte and surrounding areas. This place is top notch very elegant on the inside and set up great. The wait staff is friendly and very helpful. The sushi is amazing, and there apps are the best. My wife always gets the shaking beef and it’s fantastic. We drive 45 min just for this delicacy. Not to mention the manager Lei is the best and has that place tip top and running perfect. I highly recommend this place as it won’t disappoint.

This is one of my favorite places to eat. Food is fresh and comes fast. All the flavors are delicious and the staff is friendly and professional I wish I could try everything 😋Pho was sooooooo good so is the sushi, seafood pot, crab wontons, house special fried rice, hot garlic chicken wings, lo mein, everything I’ve had was delicious

My son and I were traveling, hungry, but wanted to get further along, and then the traffic on I-85 slowed to a crawl. We took the closest exit and decided to eat to allow the traffic to clear, and I'm glad we did. I live on Lake Hartwell, Georgia side, and we don't have any decent Asian restaurants close by, and was craving some phó.
We started off with steamed dumplings and the server was kind enough to bring me a bowl to toss them in soy sauce and chili oil 🌶️. Mmm
My son wanted phó as well, so while I had the seafood (scallops, shrimp, and squid rings - all tender) and he got just the scallops. Of course, I had to add chili oil along with the jalapeños (I like the spicy!) to go with the fixings (Thai Basil, bean sprouts, cilantro, and lime), and it was a great balance.
The broth was good (not the best I've had since it didn't have that deep umami taste famous in Vietnam from cooking a bone broth overnight). Fortunately, the broth was piping hot so we knew it wasn't just sitting at the serving station. Because the seafood was tender we also new the phó want sitting around cooking it.
The wait staff was friendly, though preoccupied and slow for some reason (it was not packed, so confusing as to why the were riding around like it was - I saw three different servers just in my area, so couldn't have been too many tops per server). 🤷🏼♂️
Glad we took the detour. I recommend this place, as the menu is extensive and you'll find something you'll like. If I'm back in this area again, I would not hesitate to visit again.

The Food was Great! (We had the Pad Thai)
**It was obvious that our server was new, I needed a lot of liquid refills due to spicy food, and she wasn't really responding to that. It seemed that serving people liquor was more important.
When you serve someone with hot sauces (I got the hot chili oil, yummy), it is going to be necessary when they ask for more drinks (in my case unsweet tea) to respond accordingly. When they ask for more napkins, it's because they are trying to keep the hot oil from touching their skin.
**Please teach your staff on how to prep for hot foods, - more liquid is going to be needed, and more napkins are going to be needed.
But we'll definitely be back for more. It's nice to have an Asian restaurant that is open on Tuesdays, which is the day I'm always craving something from the Pacific Rim.

My sushi 🍣 was excellent. Their steamed dumplings were so yummy. Then there was fried ice cream. SO YUMMY. Our waitress was so sweet and kept up with us. We never had to get her attention not once.
