BBQ is great. Sides are great. Desert is great. Staff is great. Okay I know that's a lot of greats but this is really good food burnt end sandwich is awesome,
brisket is top-notch, and a Philly made with smoked turkey and pepperjack cheese is worth writing home over.
I don’t care where you go in Kansas City; Oden’s has THE best burnt ends in town! I have been eating there off and on for over 20 years and I have yet to be disappointed in the food, the staff, the prices, and the atmosphere. They may not have the big fancy store or the big fancy name but they can compete with anybody in town in quality!!
The Friday night filet special beef was tender, flavorful, and cooked just right. Service was cheerful and efficient. Portions were plentiful on the sides and steak and there was complimentary ice cream and chocolate sauce afterwards! This place has moved near the top of our preferred list of family restaurants in this area.

As usual the food and service was outstanding. Yesterday I had the 3 rib lunch plate and the hubby had the huge chicken salad sammich on Texas toast.
It's been my sons fav place to eat since he started eating solid food. Thanks to Jim and Karen he even has his own steak on the menu now! Go in and ask for the Braydon KC Strip! Luv you guys!!!
Odens has been my family's go to place for over 20 yrs. We shared many of our celebrations there. Wonderful BBQ, great service, excellent staff. Thank you Oden's for being one of our favorite family traditions.

Me and my son walked into Odens today for a basket of fries. I also asked how much there pulled pork sandwich was. It was at a good price but I just wanted the fries for me and my son. When I went to pay the beautiful girl behind the counter told me that she bought me and my sons lunch with the pulled pork sandwich. I want thank you guys so much. The sandwich was awesome and we will definitely be back. This place a must go.
Have always enjoyed the BBQ at Odens! The loaded baked potato (with brisket, cheese and sour cream) is fantastic! Can't wait to get back and have supper with yall.

A step back in time, kind of an old school atmosphere that is quite refreshing, friendly staff, great food and get this, the waitress who checked us out, even knew how to count back change.
Steaks are Excellent......cooked perfectly...... Wait staff is friendly.......kinda like going home

First time here and we were SUPER impressed! Service was ridiculously good and almost overdone, food was outstanding and the prices were more than fair. We ordered the platter for two and it was enough food for at least three adult meals. In fact I only have two small complaints. First, the mild sauce is okay... not great. We all know sauce preference is very personal, so no biggie. The hot bbq sauce was tasty however, so I used that. My only other criticism is that the burnt ends come already sauced (why?) and they lack the good crusty exterior that makes it a burnt end. The brisket though was straight up amazing - tender, well trimmed, good smoke flavor and didn't need sauce, so it more than made up for the so-so burnt ends. Pulled pork and ribs were both excellent also, no sauce required for either. Ribs were exceptionally tender as well. Steak fries, curly fries and slaw all got thumbs up as well. All in all the experience was well worth the five star rating and we'll definitely be back to try the homemade bread pudding that is still haunting me because we didn't take any home.
My favorite was the burnt ends, they were wonderful! And the desserts are to die for. Honestly the best bread pudding I’ve had in my life! And the peach cobbler was like none other, amazing!
Greatest family KC BBQ restaurant. Highly recommended for couples & family gatherings alike. When ordering take out, it's always fresh & hot & ready when they said it would be ready. Can't say enough good things about the service, as they too are fantastic !
The waitresses are very friendly and the food is great. I also loved their homemade pies and cake. They even had peanut butter pie. And they have a good tasting apple crisp and you can ask for extra crumbles.

I was visiting a friend and needed a KC BBQ fix. Oden's was great! Ribs - yummy. Brisket - fabulous. Beans - delish. Also the staff was very friendly - efficiently took my call-in order and it was waiting with a smile when I arrived. ***AMAZING HOMEMADE DESSERTS -- pies, cobblers, etc
The food is fantastic, the employees are awesome, the bathrooms are always clean. Usually I would give a place like this a 5 star rating, but the hours they are open, do not match up with the hours posted on Google and there are no hours posted. Very UNRELIABLE business hours!!!
