This place has no business being this good! We stopped in for drinks and I usually don’t order food out since I have a few food allergies and am generally just picky. They have a lot of gluten free options and are also very accommodating to the rest of my allergies. Everyone who has served us has been great! The drinks are delicious, and the food is friggin fantastic. The fried chicken and the banana wontons are my new go-to. The poke is a close runner up.

We have been several times, the overall service and the food has improved since COVID. We brought our friend from Hawaii here for cocktails and dinner for the experience, they kindly brought out a birthday shot that was super yummy. We tried multiple dishes, the fried chicken was amazing, the poke was very good… however it could of used a bit more poke, the ribs were also very tasty and cooked just right. We love the tasty crafty cocktails options, I do recommend adding a couple more cocktails that can be made with vodka or as a substitute for non-rum lovers like myself. Overall, it was a great experience and we look forward to going back again soon! Our server, which we have had before, she has curly hair, I wish I remembered her name, she was fantastic and super attentive! 😋♥️👍🏼

Our group had a great time. We reserved a table 3 weeks in advance for a Saturday. Food was delicious, the scorpion bowl was yummy but kinda disappointed that it wasn't on fire like the picture shows! Overall it was delightful & we'll definitely come back.

Edit: previous review still stands for the online ordering system being BROKEN but we did finally eat here again (it had been a while since we last dined in here) and the chicken and coconut rice was delicious so I'm changing my rating from 1 star across the board! __________________________________________ DO NOT TRY TO ORDER ONLINE! We called the restaurant and a recording says orders must be placed online. So we ordered online and waited and waited for a follow-up email after the "we received your order" email. Drove to the restaurant after 30 minutes only to be told that their "online ordering company has shut down" and they finally cancelled our order while we were waiting for it AT the restaurant! UPDATE YOUR WEBSITE AND PHONE RECORDING TO THAT EFFECT PLEASE!! They were also completely out of chicken - seriously?! It was 7:30 on a Saturday night and you only have 6 menu items! So we had to scramble to find food last minute, a lot of places stop serving at 8 pm even on a Saturday. Really bad experience and not even an apology.

The food and cocktails here are quite good. My husband and I have had just about everything on their menu. The atmosphere is kitchy fun and relaxed. Over the past few months however, the service has been really rough. Especially when on the patio it has felt like we were forgotten about a few times. So many restaurants are struggling to stay fully staffed that we will go back a few more times in his that the service returns to it's former level.

I finally had the opportunity to visit Rapa Nui in Bend, and I was thoroughly impressed by the decor, cocktails, and overall sincerety of the place. In spite of being on the second floor of a warehouse-style building, the bar does a great job of creating a lush, comfortable atmosphere. In contrast to some of the tiny, cramped tiki bars on my favorites list, Rapa Nui gambled on a larger space that feels expansive without seeming sparse, and it's varigated enough to provide cozy nooks and crannies for parties of any size. It's not easy dropping a tiki bar into a blank industrial space and giving it the sort of lived-in feel that we're used to in more mature establishments. While it does still feel clean and new, without decades of dust and detritus, Rapa Nui does a good job of staying true to the tiki aesthetic and providing a thoroughly tropical escape. The cocktail menu includes a good variety of the standards, with some signature variations. I neglected to order a Mai Tai, which is my standard test of a tiki bar's cocktail program, an omission I'll correct on my next visit. Instead, I opted for the Island Old Fashioned, which was flavorful and superb for someone who tries to avoid a lot of citrus, and the Jungle Bird, which was delightfully Campari-forward. Not everyone's going to appreciate the added bitterness, but as a fan of dry/bitter drinks, I really liked it. When I mentioned it to Anna, the bar manager, she replied that it was an intentional choice to differentiate their version from the standard. It's a bold choice that I applaud. I can't comment on the food, since we had just come from dinner and didn't order any bites, but I'm looking forward to giving more of the menu a try on future visits. For such a young bar, Rapa Nui hits all the right notes, and it's only going to get better with age. I don't expect to get to Bend very often, but when I do, another longer visit to this tropical paradise will definitely be on the itinerary.

The fried chicken was great. We also liked the Korean ribs and Jerk chicken. Fun place with good music and atmosphere. The drinks were a bit pricy and the loco moco (sadly) isn’t on the menu anymore.

Cute little tiki bar with cute decor. Drinks are very fruity in nature if you’re into sweet cocktails and the beer selection when I went was 2 so if you’re just a beer drinker you‘ll be disappointment. The food options are pretty slim but not bad.

We had a little surprise birthday dinner at Rapa Nui last night and it was great! The decor is amazing and food was delicious. Our waitress (curly hair) was super friendly and didn't bat an eye when we brought 3 teenagers with us and ordered only non-alcoholic drinks. We're already planning a return visit! :)

Cocktails were delicious! And food was sooo good. The bowl with fried chicken was an excellent life choice. It was such a fun and unexpected change from the beer and pub food options in Bend. Definitely go!

They really nailed the tropical vibe in this place with decor, plus the drinks and food were excellent. We ended up asking for a drink for my toddler and the bar tender went all out, mixing so many different juices and adding an over the top garnish and everything, really above and beyond in all the right ways
