Amazing experience here! This is the best barbecue I’ve had in a long time! We are visiting from Portland Oregon and definitely need one of these at home. Our waitress was named Jen and she was super nice and awesome customer service. I had the barbecue brisket salad and it’s probably one of the best salad I’ve ever had. The meat was so delicious. I had a half and half marble brisket and they even had homemade buttermilk ranch dressing.. Thank you so much for being so yummy. We might have to make the drive over from Portland just for the food.❤️🙏🏻
Great tasting meal of ribs, garlic mashed potaoes, and tasty, hearty cole slaw. My wife and I shared a full rack of ribs and it's sides.
Also got some chicken wings that I would not do again. Not that they weren't good it just that there are other interesting apps to try.
Gretchen's service was attentive and cheerful.
Being a Texas boy I’m of course a BBQ snob. I’ve lived in the NW for about 14 years and had fair to pretty decent BBQ. Baldy’s was the exception…the food was outstanding! I got a to go order of rib tips and burnt ends and both were literally the best I’ve ever had anywhere. The BBQ sauce was good but not needed because the meat in both dishes were so wonderfully seasoned and cooked to perfection.
Good location: hard to see, shares building with another restaurant. Nicely decorated. Waitstaff was friendly & accommodating. We ordered the full rack of ribs & pork sliders. Food was delicious and prepared well. We also had a couple of good Cocktails. Would come back again.
Fantastic food. Excellent service. Warm environment. Terrific menu along with it being very affordable. Julian if I am not mistaken was our server, gave a perfect service. My husband and I have been in the food service industry for over 30 years and it is refreshing to see the service done the way it should be. We definately will be back.
Casual dining. Clean establishment. The food was amazing and the service top notch.
4 of us shared the combo meal (can't remember what it was called, but basically a little of everything). It was more than we could eat so added more brisket to take home for leftovers.
BTW - I didn't find the cornbread at all dry as someone else had mentioned. Rather it was more of a lighter, cakey texture than I've had before and really enjoyed it.
We were watching BBQ USA and all of a sudden we were hungry for food. I want BBQ. so off to Baldy's we went. We had been to a Baldy's some years back on a foody crawl and visited the Baldy's on century drive. It was very good. So we were close to the one on 27th and I didn't want to drive to the west side so we stopped here. JACKPOT! best decision of the day. Awesome service, thanks Julian, awesome food and atmosphere. The only thing I would recommend is a dolly to wheel me out to the truck. We will be back. 👍 👌
I love Baldy's East. I've picked up food numerous times on my way through and ate in as well. Always great service and bbq on point.
Simply outstanding in all aspects. Would not hesitate to go back or recommend
Tasty BBQ, overall. Much better than any chain could be. I had the brisket and ribs, both of which were moist and delicious.
Thankfully they withheld from slathering everything in too much sauce. Their sauces are good, but not fantastic overall.
The service was excellent, my server checked in and refilled regularly.
Can I just say GLUTEN FREE BUNS! Hello! Not many places provide the option. And when it's a true allergy not just a lifestyle commitment it matters. Food was amazing! Service was amazing as well. Loved the cute country environment/ decor. Great place for a quality meal.
Am from out of town and was looking for some good barbecue. Baldy's did not disappoint. Their spicy sauce is very good with a little bite at the end. Also if you like cornbread the honey jalapeño is a must have. Very friendly staff and a great atmosphere. This is a place you must try if you are in Bend.
