After a long cold day of gravel riding we stopped in for refreshments before heading home. Glad to find kombucha on tap! A good beer, cider, kombucha, and seltzer selection.

The Bite is small but might. It is like an oasis in the middle of Tummalo. Good eats. Good drinks. Nice people. The mandarin juniper cider from Bend Cider is a winner.

Good place to stop after a ride. It can be a little kid crazy at times, but still a nice atmosphere. Food trucks are good but not amazing. Sushi is my favorite there. The Poke bowls are really good.

Great ambiance and very friendly people. There are 4 different food carts to choose from. ( The rogue chef, Rico's Tacos, Pine Marten Pizza, and Northfresh Sushi).. multiple selections of beers on tap, fire pits and games.

We love this place! The food trucks have something for everyone (sushi is on point...see photo) and the drink selection consists of around 12 taps (all local) with wine and other drinks as well. The inside is cozy with a big fireplace to keep it warm during the winters. Simple, clean and a friendly staff. What else can you ask for?

Awesome selection of “food truck” options with a covered seating area. A great spot for a bite to eat and to catch up with friends.

So cool! Outdoor environment with 4-6 food carts offering different menus. Semi-covered picnic tables allow for a great place to eat and people watch! There's also a full bar. In told that the evenings in the spring and fall are also a great atmosphere.

Very consistently good food! My personal opinion is that their Grilled Salmon sandwich is the best in town, bar none! Good service. Small dining area, so can be hard to get an open table at prime hours, but worth it!

What a great venue! A nice variety of food trucks, diverse offering of local beers on tap, indoor(ish) and outdoor seating. Live music the night we were there but not piped into the indoors area which was a bit disappointing. Oh, and free parking in their own lot!

We drove by this place. Everyone in the car started yelling about how cool it looked. So we stopped for dinner.. It was a great family atmosphere. The Bite bar had 10 different local beers, domestic beers, local ciders, and seltzers. Sodas for the kids. Off in the covered area, there were about 5 food trucks in a line. American , Thai, wood fire pizza, Mexican, sushi. And a shave ice. Something for everyone.

Update 6/2022. Still awesome and a great venue. Another excellent find in Bend. Family friendly with an excellent outdoor atmosphere. Multiple food trucks that can please any appetite. Lots of beers too. Well worth the little drive to go enjoy.

Love this little food truck area! The food options here never disappoint. They had a great place for kids to run off extra energy as well.

Drove from Wilsonville Toyota to deliver a vehicle to someone local. They referred The Bite Tumalo for lunch and wow did that establishment deliver. Amazing vibe. Everyone was kind an welcoming. If you’re in Bend. Make your way to The Bite Tumalo. You won’t be disappointed!

Stumbled into the place on a bike ride to Sisters They serve several craft beers and. Large assortment of food trucks. After 2 beers I began to wonder about Oregon DWI laws for cyclists oh yeah, USA beat France 2-1 today.

Slow service, and indifferent workers of the three different food trucks we tried. One meal didn't come until about 25 minutes after the rest of ours had been served from the other trucks, but they were all at least a 30 minute wait (So nearly an hour on the one...) The food was decent, not exceptional, and the prices were on the high side for what we got. Not sure if that's due to inflation, or the privilege of eating out of a food truck. Drinks were quick and cold. Nice service from them. Good selection too. It made the wait on our food barrable. Atmosphere was fun and everyone there seemed to be having a good time. Seating was tight, but people were sharing tables and generally enjoying each other's company. It made it fun. There was a continual line at the bathrooms. They could use a couple more of those if the ever did a remodel. Parking wasn't bad. The lot was packed, but the is plenty of close parking on the streets in the area. Overall a decent dining experience. I wouldn't have wanted to wait the amount of time we did if it was winter. Hopefully things will get better on that front.

My family discovered this amazing place today and I highly recommend The Bite to anyone in the Tumalo/Bend area. We spend most of our time in the Portland area and by far The Bite is equal to any one of the carts in the Rose City.
