This is my favorite in Bend. The food is always consistently good, servings are large, price is right and the service is the best. You're in and out quick but it doesn't matter if there's a wait because you're busy trying all the samples.

Yum!. Been going here for years! They are so great there- always know who we are when we pull up. Give free samples when you are there- nice to try things you don't know if you like or not. Food is always good and consistent and reasonable! Best thai in town!
Great food, great prices! Excellent service, they give you huge samples as soon as you pull up, she even noticed that I had my dog with me and gave him treats. Definitely a new favorite!

Totally Know Why it has a 90%. I have been dying to try Taste of Thailand. Yesterday my boyfriend and I decided to head over for some thai food and then eat it in Drake Park (the weather was perfect for it). When we pulled up, a friendly woman started shuffling samples to us (4 to be exact), all of which were fantastic.
We ordered the Chicken Pad Thai and another chicken dish (from the samples). It was an unbelievable amount of delicious thai food. Enough for 4 people.
The chicken in both dishes was so good. It was moist, not at all dry (some thai places really over do it and dry out the meat, but not here). I'm looking forward to going back, the service was amazing, samples are great and food was delicious....it doesn't get much better than that.
What a great experience! Ordeted the chicken pad thai. They told us it was not traditional. It was AWESOME! Big chunks of chicken, thick noodles, broccoli and carrots. The sauce was scrumptious!

This place is the cats pajamas! My girlfriend and I were in Bend, craving some Thai food, and we saw this spot had good reviews, so we went over to try it. The friendly owner came right out and asked us if we wanted some samples, and continued to give us 5 different sample cups of different options. They were all so good, it was hard to choose, but I went with the red curry with pumpkin and Chicken, and my girlfriend got the ginger beef. Both came with a huge portion of sauce in separate containers, as well as large portions of rice.
Suffice to say, both were delicious, and the portions were so large that we had leftovers for two more meals! Can't recommend this place enough. Friendly people, Great food, huge portions and fair prices, what's not to love??
Killer curry, fantastic prices, and extremely friendly staff! The only thing I wish is that there were a place to eat, even just like a park bench and table or something, but regardless this place is awesome and I will be a very long time customer.

Location is a bit tricky to navigate but it's well worth it, we had the Pad Thai and two BBQ Pork buns and we're really impressed with the quality of ingredients and with how fast we were served. The portion size is great too, one order of pad Thai was enough for the both of us, and we're big eaters. A delicious homemade quality meal for 2 for less than $20-- Definitely going back!p
The food was quite odd at first sight, but once you start eating the experience changes. If you order the #1 combo, Phad Thai and Peanut curry, mix them together. I made the mistake of eating most of the Phad Thai before understanding that you should mix the two dishes. The dishes are quite cheap for their quality which is nice. None of the curry my group ordered were watery or to salty. We ordered pumpkin curry, peanut curry, and yellow curry. All good dishes for the price. And most importantly the staff was nice enough to let us order a few minutes before they closed. We didn’t want to make them work after they closed, but my group was keen on trying them before we left Oregon.
TLDR: Neat and unique place, amazing staff, and good food.

Fantastic location! A little cramped to drive to and the lines are long, but the food is totally worth any wait. The little lady that runs Taste of Thai has worked 18 hour days since I moved to Central Oregon in 1998, and probably years before. This little local business is a Cultural Hotspot for Thai inspired cuisine. I can confidently say Taste of Thai is the best Thai food in all of Central Oregon by a massive margin.

This was hands down my best Thai food experience! When we pulled up we were greeted with multiple samples and a smile. The pumpkin chicken curry was incredible and the portions were generous, providing bomb leftovers the next day! I can’t wait to go back.
This Thai spot is delicious. I do have a bit of a tip for the owners though. While you’re waiting on your food, the owners very kindly offer up samples of their other options, but by the time I got to the window to order, I had 3 or 4 samples put down and wasn’t terribly hungry anymore. Where I would have ordered 2 entrees to eat and try new things, there was no point anymore. I just ordered my favorite of the samples.
Maybe this only happens to us dummies that order two entrees just to try them, but they lost an entree sale on me because of the multiple, very delicious and generously sized samples.
The most epic Thai food in Bend is a drive thru food cart? Yes!! This is the best Thai curry shack you'll find in Oregon, maybe even anywhere 😎 . The menu is simple but complete, their portions are perfect... Big enough if you're hungry or to share with a friend. For gluten free options, these people understand what that means and most items are naturally made without gluten anyway with a few obvious exceptions. Their satay chicken is unique and so tasty, their salad rolls are perfect, the sticky rice is excellent. Their pad Thai is unique from other pad Thai pad... There is nothing I would change about this place
I love the story; enthusiastic foodies definitely work there; it's a fantastic find for anyone traveling through Deschutes county. The flavors are rich and combined quite well. My only reservation: I'm from a city with loads of tiny Thai places and for the money, they are able to make 3 times more take-home food for the same price. I do understand: I am lucky, but Bend is much more luckier to have this gem.
I've lived in Bend 20 years and they're a longtime go-to for takeout. Good food and great value. I wish COVID hadn't killed the samples, used to be a highlight of any visit, but that's the world we live in. Highly recommended.
