The Brown Owl - Bend - Photo album

We had a late night hamburger. Amazing it was really really good. I recommend it. The beer selection is awesome because the majority of it is not local beer. And when you live in Central Oregon and you've tasted all the local beers, you really don't want to taste local beers.
Great atmosphere, excellent bourbon selection and very clean. Friendly and helpful staff too
Overall pretty good. We had burger and pork belly salad wraps. The burger was great. The pork belly was ok. Could have been great. The salad for wrapping was just kind of tiny, some of the belly was aggressively fatty. Oh and not all the beers are on tap. So be careful there
UPDATE: They changed the food truck after I wrote my original review. He told us they were the best nachos in Bend and he wasn’t lying! Not your typical Mexican nachos but a modern spin on them. Can’t speak to the other items on the menu but I’ll be back.
Food was deeply and pleasurably complex: hamburger, fries and rancher salad; amazing taste and texture AND experienced the absolute best pretzel ever! Super helpful bartender - their "self service" approach is brilliant.... we were attended to quicker than the really poor patio service we experience
We came into this understated restaurant without expecting too much and we were just blown away by the quality of the food. I’m telling you this was the best chili I’ve ever had, just enough spice and a very robust flavor. This ended up being our favorite place to eat in Bend, who would’ve thought!
The Brown Owl is a great spot to visit. Located in the Box Factory, it has a very inviting atmosphere with a cool, logging style interior. The food is ordered from the food cart and you can enjoy your meals indoors on one of the many levels, or at the fun outdoor area.
Our food was excellent but it was a bit spendy for the family to dine there. I love the look of the place and the owner is nice!
Good ramen spot, I came here with friends and ordered some food and sake. The pork buns were pretty good, we also ordered the spicy miso and the tonkatsu ramen which were also good. If you come here late at night bring a jacket cause it gets cold!🥶
Great atmosphere to grab a drink and chill!
Really good food and a fantastic atmosphere. I had the burger and I loved the seasoning. The service was a little slow, but it seemed like they were understaffed.
10/10 would come back. The bartender with the red ish beard really took care of us. The food was great. We got the chicken sandwich, fries and the Mac. The chicken sando was kinda dry but over all well flavored. Loved it!
What a great little spot!! Was pleasantly surprised with the quality of food that came out of the truck. Ordered the Sando and it was delicious. The overall vibe is very cool and laid back with the bar inside and the outdoor seating area next to the truck. They have a great variety of beer options.
