Lunch is the only time you should come to Robert's China Garden. The all you can eat lunch special is absolutely outstanding. Do not confuse yourself into thinking this is a high class establishment, this is a home town family run restaurant. Tea is excellent, crispy chicken salad is excellent. Come to Roberts with the expectation that you will be stuffed full of pretty good food and you will not be disappointed.
I come here all the time with my dad. They know their regulars very well when walk in and already start cooking what we want haha. I get the Mongolian beef which is what i recommend. Best Chinese food in Benicia.
Great food, friendly staff. Good portions. Very pleased. Only drawback for me was I can't climb stairs well, but food was worth it, and the entertainment the very large koi and the turtles were worth it.
Beggars chicken is an emotional experience, absolutely the best meal I've ever eaten. Has to be ordered 24 hours ahead of reservation, well worth taking the time to arrange.
ROBERT IS THE MOST AWESOME MAN, I have So much respect for the man. Besides that Ive been eating here for over 2 decades now and its been consistently delicious the Entire Time. Really good food.
