My fiance and I have dined at some of the best sushi restaurants in the USA, and consistency has always been an issue depending on what day of the week you go. However, Here at Sakura, we have never been disappointed, no matter what day, or how busy they are. The fish is always super fresh, never masked by Wasabi, the rice is cooked perfectly, and their 50% off menu exceeds expectations as well. I drive over 45 min, just to eat here, because I know we will never be disappointed. I recommend Sakura Sushi on street road in Bensalem to all my friends and family!

Delicious sushi. Came here for the first time yesterday for my birthday dinner. Excellent price for excellent quality sushi. This will definitely be one of our new favorite places to eat!

My husband and I order from Sakura just about every Friday night. The have 50% off all (?) sushi everyday and there really isn't a single thing we've tried that we haven't liked. Our 4 1/2 year old daughter loves it too so she looks forward to "sushi night" each week. Husband loves the Tiffany roll (California tempura roll with a spicy sauce on top) and I love the Ichiban (scallop tempura with mango and Kani) and their basic rolls are great as well. Whatever they did during their renovations, whether they changed owners or whatever, they did the right thing because their food is great!
Excellent Sushi and cheap prices. I went here last night and LOVED it. I was always afraid to go to Sakura because I never heard anything about it from anyone and you gotta be careful with Sushi places. Anyway, I got the Spicy Girl Roll. OMG! So frigin good. I'm no sushi connoisseur. I usually get Spicy Tuna roll everywhere. And I really didn't know the difference between "good sushi" and "ok sushi" until last night. It was awesome!! The atmosphere was reall nice too. Totally not what I expected. I always drive by it and though it looked like a dive. I was mistaken. I totally recommend this place!
Always good. I have been to Sakura for both lunch and dinner numerous times. The food is consistently good; of the 3 sushi restaurants within a few miles of me, this one is my preferred option. I love the yellow tail jalepeño appetizer (sashimi style), and my favorite of the specials are the spicy girl, as well as the sakura roll. During the week, they frequently run great eat-in specials, such as half price items. The lunch bento boxes are great, and for those who don't eat raw stuff, you can't go wrong with the beef negemaki (hibachi grilled beef, wrapped around green onions with a delicious sauce).
Good sushi great prices. Service can be slow at times and some waitresses speak little english, but my favorite sushi place by far.
From the Russo's. This place is by far the best sushi joint in Bucks County!!!!! Sakura as been recently renovated and is a perfect place to take a loved one or friends. Everything there is extremely fresh makeing for the best sushi and food! The staff and ppl that work there are very helpful and extremely friendly! If you havent been there you need to get there. Best sushi around!!!! and great prices! I went to Cali and went to a few sushi places and i found my self missing SAKURA, the other places just werent as good!
Loving it!. I went to Bensalem to visit some friends. We all had decided to go to Sakura for some sushi due to their 50% discount price. After we went there I was amazed by taste of sushis they got there. It's sure the best sushi i had ever tasted and their services is super! Even without their 50% off discount, me and my friends we'll still be back for more! Keep up the great works Sakura!
This is a spot that my whole family loves to go to for food. We order side dishes for the kids to split. I love to get a bento box and we always get a couple of rolls to share... some appetizers... and the hibachi combos. The staff is so wonderful with the little ones, they're very friendly and accommodating. Their service is so quick that it makes taking kids to the restaurant okay, and they love to try the chopsticks. The restaurant is always clean and comfortable. I also feel like they are reasonably priced especially for the amount of food that you get.

Sakura offers excellent-tasting food at an affordable price. We tried the Yellowtail Cilantro appetizer, and a meal of three rolls (Spider, Pink Lady, and Buffalo). The appetizer had a great flavor, but it appeared the avocado overwhelmed the flavor of the yellowtail and yuzu sauce. Maybe adding less would help to balance the tones in the appetizer.
They impressed us with the overall presentation and aroma of the rolls, though we have to admit the Buffalo Roll was the surprise hit. The Angus beef and spicy crab flavors stacked with one another, with the Worcestershire sauce adding to our overall enjoyment.
The Pink Lady and Spider rolls were good, but the tempura texture felt a bit off. Not in a way that lessened the taste of the rolls, but more so from a feeling point. Comparing the tempura to other places in which we’ve dined, we found both rolls lacked the distinct crunch tempura has. These are our impressions only. Your experience may differ.
The crew was friendly and allowed patrons to experience their meals without hovering. We appreciate that in a restaurant. It’s okay to check in, but some places make you want to invite the staff to sit down and dine with you because they’re around all the time. The staff at Sakura have a good balance of being attentive without smothering you.
Tempura opinion aside, the food was delicious overall, and we are looking forward to coming back to try more sushi and non-sushi meals in this first of several visits to come. Stay tuned!
Sakura is a solid local go-to for sushi and basic Japanese fare. They offer a long, diverse list of specialty rolls in addition to the standard options. We’ve tried everything from a rolls topped with coconut flakes to a unique combination of steak and cream cheese, and none have disappointed. The freshness and quality consistently meet expectations.
Their atmosphere is standard compared to other local sushi spots. Service is quick and the dining area is clean. Expect a slight wait during peak times as they offer a discount for eating in. That said, it’s worthwhile from a value perspective. Aside front the discount, their tempura options are much better when you avoid the to-go box and get the crisp, clean crunch that comes from a place that keeps the fryer oil fresh. Recommended for good sushi, and creative specialty rolls.

I came here on June 19 at 2:41 PM with two other people and was seated right away. The outside of the restaurant looks a bit run down but the inside of the restaurant was aesthetically pleasing, especially where the chefs were making the food. Service was fine. The table was very clean and had soy sauce and hand sanitizer at the table as well. We ordered Spicy Yellowtail Roll ($8.50 but 50% off so $4.50), Passion Roll ($17.90 but 50% off so $8.95), Phoenix Roll ($17.90 but 50% off so $8.95), and Pink Lady Roll ($19.90 but 50% off so $9.95). It was so good that we ordered three more rolls. We ordered the Super Dragon Roll ($17.90 but 50% off so $8.95), Super Rainbow Roll ($19.00 but 50 off so $9.50), and Sunflower Roll ($17.90 but 50% off so $8.95). They were all delicious. The Spicy Yellowtail Roll was great. The Passion Roll had eel and avocado inside, and tuna and salmon on top. The Phoenix Roll had shrimp tempura inside, topped with snow crab, wasabi tobiko and chef’s special sauce. Delish. The Pink Lady Roll was pretty to look at. It had shrimp tempura, kani, avocado and lobster salad, and was wrapped with pink soybean seaweed. The Super Dragon Roll was a lot. It was a tempura set with cucumber inside, topped with spicy tuna drizzled in Japanese seasoning and eel sauce. The Super Rainbow Roll had spicy tuna inside, topped with tuna, yellowtail, salmon, white fish, and avocado. The Sunflower roll had shrimp tempura inside, with chopped cucumber and crabmeat, sprinkled with crispy sweet potato. Everything was very fairly priced and the staff were all professional and friendly. All in all, the food was great and I would definitely come back. 5/5 for the food, interior of the restaurant, service, parking lot, and cleanliness.
I love the sushi here. It is the freshest in the area. I love how fast the service is and the fact that they are not like American servers who check on you every few mins or talk to you while your mouth is full. They allow you to enjoy your meal. The only thing I can complain about is the decor could use some updating. That's all. I love it.

I have eaten here several times but not since COVID. A friend and I decided to do takeout tonight. Sooo good. We just got some rolls, and a fried tofu appetizer. The rolls were nice and fresh! Takeout was nice, but looking forward to getting back to dining in real soon!
One of my favorite restaurants of all time. Everything on the menu is delicious and prepared perfectly. Make sure to try every appetizer at least once.
The best tasting chicken teriyaki I’ve ever had AND the prettiest presentation I’ve seen. The chicken was slightly crispy on the outside and tender inside — a perfect combination. I also had the Empire Roll (California roll topped with baked crabmeat, seared scallops, masago, scallions, tempura flakes, and chef's special sauce) which even my very Caucasian grandmother said was delicious. The miso soup was also flavorful. My grandma had the chicken fried rice, which was a huge portion for the price and was surprisingly not that greasy for fried rice.
Went for a late dinner with the girls. The udon noodle soup was kinda plain. Sushi was really good and our other two dishes were pretty good too. Our server forgot about us but the other than that it was not too bad. They need a bigger bathroom though.
My honey got a stir fry of steak and shrimp. The steak was kinda tough. Flavoring was all good though. I got a lovely sushi dish and tuna tartare.
Fantastic sushi and excellent service! Everything we ordered was delicious, the Kani salad, the sunflower roll, and the Mexico roll which had a great spice to it! Very prompt service too which made our experience very easy. Will definitely be back!
