My wife and I have come here for lunch and dinner a number of times, most recently this past Friday night. The food is always first rate here and very reasonably priced. If you enjoy cuisine from the Subcontinent - as I certainly do - you cannot go wrong here!
Food is of high quality. The staff is polite and attend to all needs. This is my favorite Indian restaurant hands down. If you're unsure of what to order for dinner, try the lunch buffet as it offers a large variety. Not to be missed.
The place is still awesome. I take my hunny lorraine every month or so. Honestly. We can go every week. Try the fried spinach

Shagun Palace has a beautiful party hall for hosting celebrations. I was there for a baby shower and the food was delicious along with wonderful service. The ownership and management had things under control. I would definitely recommend hosting an event there.
My husband and I had the pleasure of having a dinner party there on Friday night for 10 of us. We’ve never been to an Indian restaurant. Every dish on table was great. Large portions for everyone to share if you wanted to. You can pick the spice that you would like for your dish from 1 to 10. It will definitely become a staple for a date night or even takeout with excellent food, vegetarian, or meat dishes. We loved it. Thank you to our gracious hosts Menish and Bella.
The food, service, and atmosphere are amazing! You can tell a lot about a place by the new people that start working. Our server had their first day today, and with their exceptional service it is telling of a greater culture of customer service. She was attentive to our needs and was helpful with deciding our food.

I wanted to try a bunch of dishes to see what I would like. They had a large selection with a wonderful presentation. The lunch buffet is until 3 and we got there at 220, so I was worried about the dishes being dried out and old, but I had worried for nothing. Everything was fresh, hot and tasty.
I requested catering service for a personal event for 50 people. The new management was very accomodating and made sure that all of the food was delivered on time and fresh. I would definitely recommend this place to everyone! They also have a banquet hall for up to 80-90 guests.

The staffs were very polite and their service was great! We had to wait a little bit for the food so they provided us with courtesy appetizers. I have brought my parents here for the 3rd time and I have no regret bringing more people here next time.

My fiancée and I have become addicted to the flavors and aromas of Indian cuisine. Shagun stands out among all Indian restaurants we have tried. You’ll arrive to find a beautiful dining area with high ceilings, chandeliers, and a mural. They often play Indian music videos which, along with knowledgeable and friendly staff, lays a foundation for an authentic Desi dining experience.
We have become regulars at their Tuesday dinner buffet. Their large spread features a minimum of five meat dishes and plenty of vegetarian options. The complimentary naan made fresh and has the perfect texture and taste. This same quality and variety is present at their weekend lunch buffet which often adds an additional sizzling dish or two.
Whether visiting the buffet or dining ala carte Shagun stands out for the bold flavors, spices, and aromas. The staples, like tikka masala, saag, and biryani, are outstanding, flavorful versions of dishes we’ve tasted numerous times. Meanwhile, their chef is constantly creating aromatic, tasty dishes we’ve become addicted to.
Definitely worth a visit for lunch or dinner. Note, the spice levels for ala carte are adjustable on most dishes. Also, they will be expanding their dinner buffet, beginning May 6, 2019, to every Monday thru Friday!
This place has really good authentic food with a variety of spice levels for every pallet. The food was flavorful and had very good amount of spices and layered flavors. And their Lassi is absolutely delightful. A must try for those in the Philadelphia or Bensalem areas.
Last night, my husband and I visited Shagun Palace in Bensalem as we had done numerous times before. The food has always been good and made to order with preferred spice level. The environment has always been nice and welcoming and staff has always been friendly. Last night was different. When we arrived, we were greeted by Suki who seated us. She was very friendly and attentive from the minute she sat us. She took our order and everything came out quickly and perfectly seasoned. Everything seemed just a little better than usual and with more attention to the small details. As we wrapped up our meal, Param came over to ask how everything was. As we explained that everything was perfect, we started talking and shared some pleasant conversation, during which Param let us know that he is the new owner as of two days beforehand. We wish Param much success with his new business venture and we will definitely be back.
