Yes I have been here and it is one of the best places to relax drink kick back meet good people and eat shoot pool or play darts I love little places like this and you would to if you are a everyday hard worker and need to unwind grab a cold one and just kick back with the fellas or the girls a place you can call home and feel like you're around family The foxhunt tavern stop by drinks on me tell him snap or Wayne sent you I will give him 100 Stars if I could and the bartenders are beautiful 😍 hope this gets me a free drink hope you gets you one 2

Awesome bar right next to my hotel. They have a great food menu and the staff (Andria) was very sweet. Food was great, it's gonna be my normal hangout while I'm here in PA for work.
Holy Mackerel!! That was a very good cheesesteak!! Fox Hunt Tavern, sat 11am. Nice little crowd. Kitchen opens at 11 and I think I saw 4 take out orders get phoned in and picked up. Hard to tell from pics, I hope it comes thru in video, how much meat is on this cheesesteak. A little dry, cheese and extras could have been mixed in better but overall this was a big meat flavorful cheesesteak, $8 and the bartender could not have been nicer. I was very happy I stopped at Fox Hunt Tavern!!
Adorable local tavern just outside of the city with a down home ambiance and really good food at a GREAT value! Totally good and comfortable experience (smoking permitted be warned) and French onion soup to die for. I’m fussy. Tellin ya.
This place is what some would call a hole in the wall but it's actually very nice...nice friendly family vibe & 🤫🤫 you can smoke inside. I met some members of the Philadelphia Eagles on 1 occasion there so that should also tell you don't judge a place from it's outside appearance
The atmosphere is what hits you first. A long New York style bar. They allow smoking and though I'm not a smoker only some of the older die hardship indulge. Drinks were freezing cold. Selection was huge. They have a cool shuffle board and two pool tables. Everything about this place was very cool. Customer service was some of he best I've ever had and everything, especially the bathrooms were nice and clean. Locals were accepting of a new younger guy and treated me respectfully. Love this place. Highly recommend.

Great food and people there. Donna the bartender is a beautiful and fun person behind the bar. I took a 🌟 away because I'm not a smoker. But the fun there makes up for some smoke. Pool tables and shuffle board and othe games. Enjoy.
Awesome food and company! Most welcomed I've felt in 2 weeks on Philly! Also a great place to have a cigar and a beer. Great prices too (especially happy hour)!
Growing up in Brooklyn I've been surrounded by fantastic pizza all my life. I'm glad to have found a slice that brings me back to my childhood. The pizza here is the best I've had in Pennsylvania, being able to buy a case of beer on the way out is a huge plus
Neighborhood bar with pool tables, darts and other types of games with enough seating for small groups. They have take out beer next door and next to that is a pizza shop.and the food there is good.
I recommend trying a cheesesteak.
When your talking taverns you could do worse. The best part of living closeby is I can walk a few blocks and Im home.

This bar is like walking into your living room. Everyone is so friendly and inviting. The bar tenders are quick in refilling your drinks and are gorgeous as well! They do have take out beer, but be sure to sit for at least one round!

When you are traveling you don't want to go where all of the tourists go, you want to go where the local people go. I had the best experience at the Fox Hunt Tavern! The food was great, the drinks were very reasonably priced and they have a Rock Star bartender named Marley who welcomes you with a smile and treats you like a valued customer! Thanks you so much, Marley for a great visit!!!! All around great place!!!
To anyone who read my previous review of this placee about "not taking nickles and dimes, will refuse service bc of it and over charge" ... that review was NOT for this place. I noticed in my email the other day that 2 of my reviews were in the wrong place. This tavern is an AWESOME place to go whether it be take out or at the bar, all of the employees are extremely friendly, respectful and very accommodating! I would highly recommend the Fox Hunt tavern any day of the week!
Bartender and her mom(I didn't get names) work way too hard cleaning in the morning..fair prices, cold beer..I didn't eat, but the kitchen was busy..fake our available for package goods and food..big Eagles bar(ugh) but as a newbie, treated fairly.. bartender had a wit and sarcasm I enjoyed..andthat I appreciated.. I love early am shot n beer places.. meet the best people...if circumstances allow, I will be back
