This place is very unassuming, but the pizza slices are huge, cheap ($2.00 at lunch) and I have to say, it's my favorite pizza in Chicago land.
I've always lived by the saying that even bad pizza is good pizza when you're hungry. Just think about that- when have you really had "BAD" pizza? Like never, right? Maybe the frozen store-kind pizzas, but not from a legitimate pizzeria.
Next, how hard is pizza to make? Answer: not hard.
That's why Tomato's pizza is my favorite. It's very inexpensive, but the pizza is extremely tasty and reliable, two factors I rarely get in my pizza orders from other locations.
The slices are very large, the cheese and sausage (or pepperoni) quantities are very generous, and the sauce is not overly salty and/or watery. The stuff is just perfect.
Speaking of which, they cook it right. I don't know how, but the slices don't flop around while maintaining the perfect 'bite' when you get going on one of them.
Lastly, I've never tried ANYTHING else here. Why should I? They're perfect for pizza; I've got Portillo's for an Italian Beef or something like that.
My only complaint is undercooked crust, order it well done.
They're cheaper than the competition, they can hold their own as far as quality and flavor and they're faster than local competition.
If you don't feel like paying $70 for a pizza then waiting an hour and a half for it from some other local places, Tomato's offers the best bang for the buck in the area. Really big menu for such a small place. I'd stick to the staple item - pizza.
Fast delivery. Food arrived fresh and hot. The mozzarella sticks are jumbo sized and taste great with not too much breading. The pizza is good and generous with toppings. Italian Beef sandwich was piled high with meat so good! This is the first place l call when l get to town!
Ordered me a medium thin crust pepperoni and sausage with extra sauce and bacon last night ...oh my God! Best Pizza I ever had, while watching Cubs game! Tonight I ordered myself another Hawaiian pizza. If you haven't tried this place it is awesome
Awesome! My wife and I were from out of town and wanted some original pizza. My wife really wanted some garlic butter sauce but the didn’t have it on the menu. They made some on request and should put it on the menu! Awesome service!
The food is so tasty and they are going to sell Guatemalan food , too. Everything is so delicious. Good prices and the team is so nice.

Normally we have great pizza from Tomato's. Last night it was outstanding! The best pizza we have ever had! 5 stars to the pizza maker on Wednesday night!
Great pizza! Their pizza doesn't make my stomach ache like Pizza Hut or little ceaser's. My boss and I always finish the pizza, it's just that good.
Love, love, love the pizza! I've never eaten inside the restaurant only delivery or pickup. But the pizza is amazing
