Don't judge this place by the BBQ. It's not a BBQ joint. Pick your meat from 5 of 6 turkey's, 5 or 6 hams, 5 or 6 beefs, 5 or 6 chickens. Pick your cheese from a big selection. Pick your bread knowing it'll be fresh-baked and excellent, puck dressings (lettuce, tomato, onion, pickle, mayo, mustard, spicy Dijon, others). Now get your chips and a cup of soup or beans. All for $4.98. I've eaten there 3 or 4 times. Excellent every time.
Can get bowl of soup or beans for $1.98. I added potato salad, which was excellent.
Then hit the bakery cabinet for cookies, pastries, pie. Good stuff!
Just don't expect a BBQ sandwich. They do offer pulled pork as a meat. But I don't have any idea about what they might dress it with.

Berea must not be the place for BBQ. Not much of a BBQ Pulled Pork sandwich. I added onions and pickles thinking WKY BBQ and the onions were sauteed. Not what I had hoped for. Not to my liking at all.

Have tried one other BBQ in Berea. I think there may be one place left to try.

What a bargain. $4.98 for a sandwich loaded with meat, a bag of chips and a cup of homeade soup. High quality food, great price.

Very friendly staff. The pulled pork sandwich, Amish chicken salad sandwich, and potato salad were amazing. They have all kind of raw goods for cooking and baking. Not to mention they sell fresh bread. The derby pie is amazing!

Stopped on our way home during a road trip. The store was very cute. Had a variety of meats, cheese, candy etc. Very nice! I'm so glad we stopped by. As well they sell handmade items that are very well made. I picked up a few pieces of jewelry. Would recommend visiting!

Love, love, love this place! Every jam, jelly and pickled vegetable you can imagine. Wide variety of candies, baked goods, too, and a full function deli! The Amish chicken salad is some of the best I've ever eaten. There's also a large flower shop outside with fresh melons and citrus ... not sure if it's affiliated with the store or not, but nice people there, as well. Great staff, polite and helpful. If you're passing through Berea, stop and give this place a try, you will definitely NOT be disappointed!

I cannot express the elation when I find a true Amish store! I could have spent all day in there! I got a starter kit for bread and fresh deli sandwiches only the Amish can make....along with beet salad. I highly recommend this place when anyone stops in this quaint Kentucky town.

Wonderful food and products! From the first time my husband and son had a deli meal from there, a year ago, they did nothing but talk about it after. I myself finally got to see what the big deal was, and no, they were not exaggerating. Good, filling food (important to someone having to feed a 17 yr old in the throes of a growth spurt), the products for sale, from the jams to the hope chests *drooling*, they have you covered for Kentucky Proud items of quality. The staff was quite sweet and helpful. Most definitely will be a favored spot from now on!
