Nice place. You can park in the church parking lot, and that's your best bet. My son wasn't crazy about the flatbread buffalo chicken, my wife liked her big steak salad, and I had a steak with a creamy mushroom sauce that was good. It's neither super fancy nor very casual, and it's a bit noisy, so
Love the Claremont! We come all the way from Mendham because THIS is what a Pub/Tavern should be like. Great portions, always well prepared. GREAT burgers that always come well "dressed" (as opposed to other pubs who nickel & dime you, and up-charge for pickles, onions, fries, etc). Love the at
I actually think I enjoy their COVID setup more than their typical inside dining room! Claremont has converted their back parking lot into an adorable outdoor dining area. Comfortable spacing between tables and great ambiance. Food is awesome as always. Can't go wrong with any burger off their menu.
Welcoming waiters amd artfully prepared dishes made a weekend lunch at the Tavern a pleasure. As a bonus, the owner was around with entertaining chatter. Some of dining locals parked their Delorian next to the Tavern on the particular day. You cannot blame them for coming back to such a classy place
What a great find. The food and service was so good. Had the BBQ Swiss Burger - Swiss cheese, Golden BBQ, sweet onions, applewood smoked bacon, beer battered jalapeño strings with a side of crunch sweet potato fries. Wow.
Came here with some friends for drinks and burgers. The bill was pretty expensive for just a couple of beers and burgers. And our server was nice, but not real great at her job. Aside from that the burger I got was fantastic, seared and cooked perfectly how I asked. I would go back for that
Every time I call during business hours for takeout I never get an answer! I've tried atleast 5+ different nights! We don't eat out much but we do take out so I was super excited to see you guys started taking take out orders but I can NEVER get through!
