Raku-an Asian Dining & Sushi - Bethesda - Photo album

Never been to Raku so long. Whenever we stop by , our food is always quality and quantity. That is a reason why these restaurant has been open for over 30 years. πŸ‘πŸ‘πŸ‘
The food is amazing, everything tasted great, even the soup. You have to get dessert when you're there. The cups of water they leave sitting out until customers show up was pretty weird and the sushi arrived warmer than expected. But overall great place
Geat food I've ordered sushi was very good.
I love Asian food, Thai food. This has some or one of the best flavors I have ever had. Everything I ordered was great. I will definitely be back
PHENOMINAL food with reasonable prices - had the ginger pumpkin soup to start, followed by their crispy chicken, and it was a treat! The servers were kind and patient as I navigated a menu with so many decadent choices. Will absolutely be going back on my next business trip to Bethesda!
Love the Sushi at this place. I don't normally like fusion Asian restaurants but Raku is the exception. We ordered carry out for my birthday and Sushi is just as fresh and delicious. And my boyfriend got my favorite bread pudding for me too. We reheated it in the oven and it was crispy outside and g
I was treated to a nice dinner here, and the food was wonderful. The sushi and sashimi was fresh and the ambiance was nice. I had the miso cod fish as an entree and was not disappointed, the only thing that did not blend too well was the tomato sauce at the bottom of the dish. Otherwise the food was
The staff and customer service were all excellent. The food was excellent! My friend and I did not make reservations, but we were able to sit at the bar immediately upon entering. That was awesome! Especially, since it was a beautiful Friday evening and everyone was out. In the future, I would try t
Phenomenal food! The seaweed salad is my favorite of all time. The restaurant itself is a bit crowded, with tables super-close together. The close quarters are worth it for the great food at a decent price. If you haven't been, you should give it a try.
Had dinner here for my son’s 14th birthday and we had an amazing time. Sushi was fresh, calamari was crispy and tasty. I enjoyed the pumpkin ginger soup.
Atmosphere was nice and cozy. Food was good, but not better than most sushi places in MoCo.
The sashimi was great! Fresh and great cut! The udon soup is the best i have around here!
Enjoyable Japanese cuisine with quality preparation. Sushi and sashimi had fresh fish and good rice feel and taste. The soups were hot. The salads were fresh. Generous portions. The curry noodles had just the right amount of spice and flavor. Try one of the whiskey or sake flights - excellent
The salmon was good, sauce and and vegetables were very tasty. Chicken was just ok. Sushi was ok. Atmosphere is nice. Service is slow.
It was my first time back in many years. The quality of the sushi was still excellent. I took a friend's advice and tried a piece of Eel, and while I doubt eel will ever be a personal favorite, I won't ehy away from it at Raku.
Raku is always a good idea, amazing service and food. I dream about this red coconut curry soup which I get with beef and udon. The sushi is great too, particularly the spicy tuna and the avo-q crunch
This place is always packed! Good quality and fast service. The shrimp tempura was my favorite. A sushi staple in Bethesda!
Came for sunday lunch with dog on a hot day. Lovely service and nice cool beer. The cold noodles were really good. Schezhuan style. Wife was happy with her soba noodles though the sauce was a little bland. This place always score high on service and quality.
We ordered crispy szechuan chicken and coconut red curry broth noodles with chicken. Both were nice and tasty. The noodles portion size was good - Infact we had ordered 1 noodle soup and spilt into two. Ambience and the customer service were good. I would definitely come back here.
