I had one of the best seafood dishes I have had in a while. It was an off the menu special and appeared to be a play on the classic fruits of the sea dish. Mussels, calimari and jumbo shrimp on top of angel hair with a marinara/cream sauce mix.

Lovely, homey atmosphere...great service, our waiter was wonderful...their bartender, Don White, is a Bethesda treasure - he is the best of the best...the food was excellent and the experience perfect.

I can't believe I've passed this restaurant so many times, and only now tried it. The food was delicious, prices were very good, and our server, Shira, was great! We had the linguini with clams, eggplant parm, and lemon cheesecake. All terrific. Can't wait to return! :o)

A real neighborhood restaurant with a great bar! What more do you want? Oh and service was perfect. I ordered a special food item which they accommodated with ease ... no questions back-to-the-Chef, etc.! Love this cozy spot!

A friend introduced me to Olazzo tonight and I'm so glad she did....perfect spot for a belated birthday celebration!!!! I grew up on authentic Italian food cooked by my Nonna who came over from Italy in the 30's, I am very picky when it comes to what Italian restaurants I eat at...this is now on my list of great places!!!! I had a chance to chat with Ricky (one of the owners), what a sweetheart!!! Will definitely be back!!!

My guy and I went at 8:30pm on a Saturday night and was seated right away. This place is wonderful and intimate, perfect date spot or really great catch up time when a friend. The dim lighting set the mood and the music selection was excellent, the best I’ve ever heard at a restaurant to be honest. I ordered the shrimp and crab rosé, which is a tomato creamed penne dish. The tomato taste is definitely there, I needed to add salt which made it taste better. I would say it was 7/10 the day of, leftovers were 8/10 at the house when I added more crushed red pepper. My boyfriend got FETTUCCINE ALFREDO and added grilled chicken and a shrimp and he literally cleaned his plate. I’ve literally NEVER seen him he all his food at a restaurant like this and we’ve been together for 3 years. He absolutely loved it. Alfredo is one of his favorite dishes and he gave it at 9.8/10. The chicken was thinly sliced just like he likes it. I recommend this place hands down. We will be back and I plan to try something different. This place is a few notches above Olive Garden of course.

Overall, my experience was great. Loved the atmosphere in the restaurant and staff were nice. Fried calamari was cooked well and crispy. Not much seasoning in the batter and the marinara is a touch on the plain side (read no zestiness/spiciness). I really enjoyed my entree, Chicken Cardinale. The sauce was delicious. I was too full to try any dessert. Maybe next time I'm in D.C. Oh, there is a parking garage right around the corner so it's easy to park and walk 2 minutes to the restaurant.

Overall: 4.50. Charming Italian eatery with local feel & relaxed atmosphere to enjoy deliciously savory appetizers, entrees & desserts. Shrimp 🍤 & Crab 🦀 Rose with linguine pasta my fav—worth every carb & calorie. Crispy blackened salmon w/roasted potatoes 🥔 & asparagus so tasty. Tiramisu so yummy! Bar (stools & booths) & inside seating & tables outside (pet-friendly) to enjoy all the sights & sounds of Bethesda especially on Friday nights at the Bethesda Streetery. Great area of Bethesda to walk before/after dining. Reasonably priced based on portion size & quality. Check it out & support locally owned businesses!

Olazzo was a great experience. We sat at the bar while we waited for a table. The bartender was quick to greet us and get our drink order. Once we were seated, our waiter was just as quick to bring us waters, take an additional drink order and out appetizer order. You cannot go wrong with the Arancini for an appetizer!! Our apps and meals came out HOT!! Everything was perfect! They have a dessert menu as well- we had the warm brownie with grlato and the tirarmisu. Both were too die for! Highly recommend!

Fried calamari cooked and season well diddnt need the dipping sauce. The arancini was so cheesy. I had never had this before and definitely would get again. The penne alla checca was nice dish very light for pasta. My cousin had the shrimp and crab rose, which he enjoyed. Only issue nothing came out hot

I have been here twice now. Both during brunch service. I have ordered the avocado toast which was a well balanced flavor combination of creamy, salty, and cheesy. Like a party in my mouth and not too heavy for early morning but enough to help soak up the DELICIOUS mimosas which they offer for just $5 dollars on brunch happy hour. The second dish I’ve tried is the wild mushroom gnocchi with Milanese chicken added. Absolutely divine. I’m in heaven. And my wallet was not crying when I left so.. def 1000% recommend from a very picky, food industry professional…

Must try in Bethesda! I got the Chicken Cardinale and it was excellent! Great flavor and generous portion! My husband got the Chicken Parmesan. He enjoyed it and would order again he said. Complimentary bread with your order so that was nice! Would come again!

This is one of my favorite Italian restaurants in the area. There used to be one in downtown Silver Spring, but it closed during the pandemic. I’ve pretty much tried all the pastas, and they’re all really good. They also have really good house salads. Their house dressing is amazing – a mixture of red wine vinegar, olive oil, herbs and spices. They make really good chicken milanese. I usually get it on top of a house salad if I’m trying to eat a little healthier. It can get a little pricey, which makes sense because it’s Bethesda.

The food is really tasty and delicious, not to mention the portion is more than for one person! The vibe and atmosphere is good. The location is pretty and good at the heart of old downtown Bethesda! Above them all it is one of the few places that I see after pandemic they haven’t increased their prices! Highly recommend the place!
