Had a great meal. Service was good. Flatbread mushroom pizza was delicious. Oysters were fresh and tasty. Beers were poured a little uneven but overall a very positive experience
Thank you google maps for leading us here! Was visiting and needed a fun place for a group. We enjoyed the whole experience from start to finish. Our waitress was amazing and very knowledgeable about everything from the beer on tap to the quality of the oyster varieties! Great variety of good food
I had a great time with my girl friends. Mussels in white wine was really tasty. It would be even better if their bread can come with the mussels in the same time. :)
They were extremely polite from the beginning. They wanted to know if we wanted a booth or a table for our birthday party. We opted for the table and they didn't make us wait until our whole party arrived. That is a major plus. The public parking was great. It was easy to find a meter close by. I k
Always fresh, tasty, and worth the calories - I always get some type of mussel dish. Great tuna tartar. Good value for money indeed, attentive friendly staff, a nice dinner out. Loud acoustics tho, and slightly blahhh greeters upon entry.
All the seafood here is delicious. Highly recommend if you're craving mussels or oysters. They have great specials throughout the week
The Mussel Bar, part of owner / Chef Robert Wiedmaier DC empire of restaurants (includes Marcel's and Brasserie Beck), serves up Euro-style gastropub in a relaxed space. As the name implies, mussels and seafood overall are front and center, along with wood-fired pizza (flatbread to me) and various s
Crab cakes had too much breading and the aftertaste wasn't to my liking. The muscles and drinks not pictured were a 10/10.
I have not had the food so this review is based on the bar. One of the best beer selection in bethesda. Good vibe and music. Friendly bartenders. Good service.
Very delicious food, especially the Brussels Sprouts and the Mediterranean Mussels.
Excellent food and great service! Showing charcuterie as an appetizer in picture. Also ordered cioppino and braised scallops and moules et frites. All were great!
Great customer service! Mussels(spicy thai curry) is the 💣. Taste great & drinks were good as well. Our server Vanessa was really great 🙌🏽
Hidden amongst a slew of quality restaurants, this place has a great patio to enjoy an impressive selection of seafood. Complemented with a solid beer menu, this is a winner.
We stopped in for lunch as first timers. I was impressed with the layout and atmosphere. Definitely very European like. The service was wonderful, though to be fair, the place wasn't really too busy (early weekday afternoon). What really made this place shine was the selection of food. Not like it w
Alex was our waiter and was the best. We had such a fun time sitting outside and making great memories. The general manager was also fun. Don't even get me started with the food. I love seafood and my husband doesn't. I was satisfied with mussels and he was satisfied with the truffle fries!
The only issue with this fine establishment is that it is as busy as it is disorganized. Food is perfection. Mussels are begging to be shared. Very competent selection of beer and wines. Waiters are enthusiastic and resourceful. Can you spell buckets? You will never have an overflowing one on your t
I stopped in for lunch on a whim and I was pleasantly surprised. The food was fast and delicious. The curried mussels were tasty and different, the truffle fries were crisp and flavorful and the beer selection was stupendous. More than anything, the server/bartender Sarah was wonderfully friendly an
