Even though this is a diner, I would say that it’s a more so upscale type of diner. It still gives the old school diner experience with the layout of the high chairs at the bar and the cushioned booths to match the vibe. The hosts were really welcoming and got us seated at the bar immediately. I had the pleasure of enjoying a passion fruit mimosa, while my partner enjoyed the orange juice mimosa. They were both very delicious and you can’t even tell that the orange juice was fresh squeezed. For our meal, I had the Angus cheeseburger, my partner had the bison cheeseburger. I must say, this was one of the most delicious burgers I’ve ever tasted. I felt full by the time my meal was done, but I did not feel overly stuffed which was a great thing. The only downfall that I can point out is the small abundance of fruit flies in the bar area. From time to time I would have to fan them away so that they wouldn’t get into my mimosa. Overall, I will definitely come back. I can honestly say this is money well spent..

Came here on a double date for Sunday brunch. Really great drink & food options. Had the “green giant” juice which was refreshing. The burrata avocado toast was excellent. Our server was friendly and attentive.

Great brunch experience. The pitcher of mimosas was worth it. The omelet was very good and the huevos rancheros were excellent. This was a bit of a walk from the metro, but it wasn't bad.

This has to be one of the best restaurants I’ve ever been to. Excellent atmosphere with unique and high quality ingredient dishes.

Upscale diner in downtown Bethesda. Good food. Nice service. Has outdoor seating option. I have 4 stars for the atmosphere because while it is clean, there is no real character or theme going on inside like you might find at other diners. It's just kind of plain. But clean.

Had the pleasure of being served by Maria at the bar! She was knowledgeable about the menu and offered a great gluten free option (shrimps and grits). She was also very attentive with all of her guests. Their grit is a patty as oppose to the traditional way to serve and I enjoyed it more this way! I also had a vegan-gluten free milkshake that was amazing!

I went to silver with a good friend who had been here once prior a few months ago and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was very good, I loved my cauliflower steak, and the environment was very inviting. Our only issue was that the service wasn’t great. Our server seemed to repeatedly forget about us and honestly just seemed very confused half the time, which had us wondering if she was new. She forgot about my drink for a long while and didn’t ask my friend what temperature she wanted her steak, it ended up coming out in a way she liked it, but it was still odd. Other then the hiccups with the service everything else was very nice and enjoyable.

Great spot. We came without reservations during the lunch rush hours on Sunday and they were able to accommodate us. Service was fast and food delicious as usual.

I had an awesome time at Silver! The new management is really putting in the effort to make it a great place to eat. The place felt cozy and welcoming, and the staff was super friendly and attentive. The food was amazing, and they made it look so good! You could tell they take their cooking seriously. The service was top-notch, and they really paid attention to the small details. The whole experience was just fantastic, and I totally recommend Silver if you're looking for delicious food, a nice atmosphere, and great service. Can't wait to go back for more yummy stuff!
