Pines Of Rome - Bethesda - Photo album

I've been dining at the Pines since the early 80s, at their old location on Hampden Lane. I don't get to Bethesda often but decided to grab an early dinner at their new location of 5 years on Cordell Avenue, my first visit there. Although they're in a new and larger space, the menu, atmosphere and d
Terrific restaurant I've been coming here for years, their staff are so friendly, food is very fresh. I wish they had better food containers for take out it doesn't seal well the box was full of liquids. Overall food is great! Love their pastas and tried their whole fish branzino tonight i like
Food seemed ok. The waiter could not understand English very well. It was hard to communicate our order.
Mr Marco has been in business for the last 40 years, and he still runs the place under his strict supervision; as a result derive is fast, and food is delicious! You should try the white fontina cheese pizza, no other place makes it like the Latino guys there
I came to the Pines of Rome quite often with my family as a kid but it has been about 10-12 years since my last meal here (old location). But let me tell you what, the quality has NOT changed. I was so excited to go with some cousins and a few days later I’m still thinking about it. This has to be a
It's a restaurant l have been going to from a very young age. The food is always fresh and l have never had a bad meal. This is white pizza and chicken parm. But everything is great.
This is a charming Italian restaurant with yummy food that is obviously prepared with love. The service is a little on the rushed side, but we still got a free dessert out of the blue, which was a nice touch. The inside is dated, but kind of cozy in a "been here 30 years we're not changing" kind of
good food, great wine and great friends. make this restaurant fun but our weight stuff, Luiz, made the evening smooth-flowing and much happiness around the table. The food here is great and I'm so glad I was taking care of at this delicious Italian restaurant. I will return because I can get authent
Great place for simple, family-style atmosphere. Service is amazing and food is guaranteed to be good. Varieties of yummy specials among appetizers and entrees. Perfect place for a couple or a large family to experience friendliness and simplicity of an Italian trattoria.
Extremely good Italian food! Even doing takeout. The White Pizza is a favorite of mine and of many people I know.
Delicious pizza, cold beer, and great service. Loved the atmosphere. Authentic neighborhood Italian ristorante. Sauce was excellent.
Been eating pines of rome a very long time, my grandparents use to eat at the old address. Best white pizza with fontina and the salad with peppers 🤤 and ofcourse my favorite meal. Shrimp Parmigiano!! Will be coming to eat there and carryout for many many more years to come!
Pines of Rome is a comfortable restaurant. Those who grew up in the area have fond memories of it. I like going here with my kids who grew up in Bethesda. Pines of Rome's white pizza is the best. Their calamari is also great. Husband likes their tomato sauce for its simpleness. I also love their mar
Home made pasta. Had veal parmigiana. Thin and breaded. Was really good. Am pleased. Sauce were good too! Had their cannoli. Not home made. Would not order cannoli again yet the dishes n spaghetti was good!
Dear lord! This is by far the best sausage and spaghetti I’ve ever had. Got the sausage & pepper w/spaghetti and a side of the fried garlic oil and tossed that in. Got the spicy sausage. Yummmm! ( Got this as take out, this pic is half the portion- huge portions here)
Food is simple, authentic and tasty. Reasonably priced. Friendly staff, quick service. Usually busy on Friday nights and weekends. I ordered salad as side instead of the Spaghetti on the menu with shrimp marinara.
Pines of Rome is my favorite restaurant on the entire planet! My family has been going here for over 40 years and I have been going since I was young enough to remember! The white pizza is to die for it is so amazingly rich and gooey. When I think of pines of Rome I think of family and more than jus
