Wonderful experience at this location. We were craving Mexican and Uncle Julio's hit the spot. We started with some delicious nachos, then followed with some chicken taco salad and steak fajitas. Everything was delicious. The atmosphere is fun but the only reason not to give them 5 stars is the wait. We waited close to 30 minutes for our main dishes to arrive. Other than that it was great. Also, they are very generous with their chips and salsa. Will come back for sure.
My first visit and it was an excellent experience. They were short staffed and we had 14 people in our party. You would have never known that because the service was fast, food was fresh, and staff was excellent. Will definately visit again!
We ordered through Uber Eats. The food came packaged nicely with compartments to keep the condiments and sides separate. We were pleasantly surprised that it came with free chips and salsa!
The food was outstanding! Fresh guacamole is prepared on your table. No one can beat that! I ordered tacos. It was enough for 3 people. Highly recommended!

I never had to wait on a drink, she came by often to check on us, and was very friendly, all of the staff were. The atmosphere and service were really great too! Typical Mex-Tex restaurant that serves quick and mildly savory dishes.
The food wasn’t bad! I will go back and will update when I try something new For dinner I got fish tacos, and my friend got the taco salad (comes with a taco she'll bowl). The fish tacos lacked flavor but were a good portion size. The taco bowl was the same, not much on flavor but great portion. All beer is in bottle, no draft. House margaritas was decent.
Come with the mandem, stay for the food and salivate at the mushu!
Stopped in for happy hour and was not disappointed. Happy hours drinks are priced just right and you are very happy after having a couple of them. The appetizers are out of this world. The service is one of the best I have seen. Team work at its best, everyone working together is the way every place should be.
The location, located in downtown Bethesda, is nice and spacious.
Frozen margarita is very delicious🍹!

My husband and I stopped adulting for a bit and had a lunch date while our kiddo was at school. The restaurant wasnt busy at the time we got there. The restaurant was clean the staff was friendly. Our server Anthony was the best. He kept a close eye on us and checked up on us whenever he had a chance.
Everything was fresh, from the tortilla chips to the food and the corn tortillas. When they came out they still sizzled. Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go pick up my son from school, go home and go in a food coma!
Went to lunch with a coworker and boy ! Super yummy trip!! Our server was nice and it wasn’t busy at all! The food was delicious and the drink was AMAZING! The swirl comes with a Grand Mariner shot in a lime ! So tasty! I enjoyed my visit and will surely be returning !!!
Disclaimer: all I ever get here are their fajitas (the steak are my favorite, but sometimes I’ll get the steak and chicken combo); their warm, homemade, flour tortillas, combined with juicy flank steak, guacamole, and salsa are fabulous
We like this place a lot during the spring and summer when we can sit outside and enjoy drinks and food outdoors. It’s pricey, but the food is pretty consistent. The margaritas are delicious and the swirl is tasty. Sangria is good, but needs better fruit. The guacamole is good (I’m not a fan of tomatoes in it), the fajitas are fine, but not memorable and lack enough green veggies. The carne asada is a fan favorite in the house when they don’t chop it in half horizontally.
Went on a Tuesday, because TACOS!!!! I was not disappointed. I sat at the bar and was given complimentary chips and salsa. Their salsa is not the typical chunky salsa you might be used to, it's more like a puree, with a distinct smokiness. I also got The Swirl, a frozen drink, half margarita and half sangria, it was delicious ($8.99). Then I got the carnitas tacos, comes with three tacos, rice, beans, pico and guacamole. They were delicious. My only real complaint was the enormous amount of raw onions on top of the tacos. Otherwise the food was great and the service was fine.
The atmosphere is very good, there is music, the staff is friendly, there were families and also groups of friends gathered, I tried the strawberry margarita and it was delicious and for starters we had chips with salsa and guacamole, I can highlight that the guacamole was delicious, it had a perfect balance.
A good Tex-Mex restaurant in Bethesda. They are practicing social distancing and you have to wear a mask when you’re not at your table. The staff are all great, our waiter was very nice. We tried the Steak and Chicken Fajitas for 2, a Sangriarita, a Pineapple Margarita, and their “Sopapillo”? Not sure if that’s the correct spelling, but it’s so good!
Very nice the service was not as good had to ask a few times for the waiter and did not get our drinks filled a few times as well. Love the food but this was not the best visit.
I have known this place since 2011, and it's the best place for teams and families. Also, it's very nice food, friendly customer services .
