One of the best authentic upscale Chinese restaurants I tried at US. We ordered half Peking duck, 2 pork potstickers(kids loved them), 过江牛 (super spicy beef in soup with tofu), and rib/lotus root soup, 2 strawberry mochi desserts. Every dish had great presentation and taste. My favorite was the lotus root soup, so rich and satisfying.

Food is pretty descent, the fish cake soup and du fried eggplant were really good. Parking can be kind of a pain and to be honest it’s a little expensive but overall the quality of food was still really good.

Awesome experience. The food and service were excellent. We ordered soup and followed by fish and chicken with red chilli. All dishes were well made and to our liking. We have been a client of Peter Chang for over a decade and love that Q is now closer to our house in Bethesda. Lisa, the manager, was extremely helpful and it was a pleasure to meet again. We will surely visit the restaurant again and very soon.

What a nice surprise, great food, ambiance and service! Absolutely delicious and authentic Chinese food, do not allow reviews in Yelp to mislead you! Try it once, and you will end up being a frequent customer!

The food was fantastic, get the Peking duck, sichuan Chicken, and the green beans all those dishes are phenomenal. The sichuan chicken is spicy but not crazy, the green beans are tender and full of flavor and you can't go wrong with the Peking duck. Making the Peking duck rolls was great. You can add in whatever you'd like. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

Excellent food. Not like the other Chinese restaurants. Dishes are more flavorful and less oily. We ordered egg fried rice, steamed dumplings and black bean pork and all were very delicious. I loved the experience.

Excellent Peking Duck and I can’t say I’ve ever had a better shrimp dumpling. We went for a late lunch on a Thursday which was nice and quiet. Server was pleasant and interior beautiful. We would love to come back.

We enjoyed Q by Peter Chang very much..... we had 3 appetizers(Scallion Puffed Pancake, Lettuce Wraps and Shrimp Dumplings) 1 side dish(Green Beans) and 3 main dish dishes(3 Pepper Beef, Mongolian Chicken and Sweet & Sour Pork). ALL of which we liked very much!! The service was excellent, setting clean and nicely decorated, the food was flavorful, well presented and good sized servings!!!

Been coming here since it opened. The quality during all of our visits has been consistent and delicious. Aside from the scallion bubble pancake, we've ordered a wide variety of dishes. This isn't a cookie cutter Chinese restaurant. The spice can be very real depending on your sensitivity to peppers. It isn't an inexpensive experience, but for us it's always been good. Parking isn't exactly convenient but a short walk finds choices in county lots and a little street parking. Overall we've enjoyed ourselves.

It's never been so true that to find a great Chinese Restaurant on Yelp, you have to look for the ones which has 3 stars - a bunch of great reviews for the authentic, delicious tasting food, dragged down by numerous 1 star reviews complaining how they messed up General Tsao's chicken. Not from the area, I took a shot at this place for Peter Chang's name, and also some of the great reviews here. I would say this place really blew away my expectations. From the appetizers - juicy, mouth watering Xiaolong Bao, fried hot eggplant, and the ball shaped pancake, to the main dishes - Peking Duck, truffle beef, string beans, sweet and sour pork, and wok spicy seafood, everything was really, really well done. I'm especially impressed by dishes which showed authenticity to outside of the Sichuan region (like the Duck and Xiaolongbao), but of course they also do Mala very well, being a Sichuan restaurant. It is definitely a gem!
