Great Irish bar! Just happened to stumble soon it today. The bartender was amazing! Had wonderful conversations with folks. Also, this was the first time in my adult life that a restaurant actually cooked my burger perfectly as I asked for it. Well done! I have a buddy that owns a Irish restaurant i
When I went it was extremely busy and the bartender did his best to keep up the drinks were mixed well. And there was a live band if you're into that thing. It is not my place but it is great if it is what you're looking for.
Great Irish pub. Good food, good drinks, great music with the Rhythm Bandits!!
Harp and fiddle is a traditional Irish dive bar with traditional Irish bar food. We went on a Saturday night and it was live music to boot! The food was really good I especially like the beef stew and the meat pies. If you're a fan of Irish coffee I heartily recommend it. Because it's Bethesda pa
I have visited this pub three times, so far. The Guinness (an easy choice) is on tap and tastes as it should. My friend's Jameson was a healthy pour. Food was properly pub-like, with curry fries and brown gravy, mini meat pies, and an Irish BLT rounding out our order. The occasional loud drunk is p
Great place to meet up with old friends from the area. Went on a Friday night around 8:30 (get there before 8:00 if you don't want to pay a cover charge ($5,0 the night I went). Drinks were reasonably priced. Did not eat, but the band played great 80s and 90s music, so I lost some weight dancing
A friend had a small celebration there. We went on a Wednesday night and I was glad I had a parking spot outside in no time. They had Karaoke night and therefore a mixed crowd of people was present. It is a regular bar with regular people and that made me feel like I am a regular there, even so that
I really enjoyed my evening here. Decent beer selection, food was excellent, travelling alone on my trip; I found the regulars easy to approach and strike up a decent conversation. Found one of my new friends to be the owner. Good drink, food and conversation at reasonable prices. Later in the e
Very night setting, i love the dim lighting and food. The owner is very nice & extremely funny man. Definitely a good place to dine, go to the bar, play poker and or darts i think it's called.
Bartender Jenny was great! Friendly, talkative, made the best drinks I've had since being in Maryland. Food was cooked perfectly got mini Steak and Guinness pies, and a burger I forget the name but cooked perfectly. Not expensive compared to other places and a cozy atmosphere..even opens super early
Always a memorable night! Live music and great beer! Some of the bartenders have a bit of an attitude problem, especially on St Patrick’s day when they’re slammed. The owner Steve is always great!
Went to this bar to watch a buddy of mine perform. The place had live music and from what I could tell pretty good bartending (I don't drink personally though so I can only go off of look). The place was pretty packed for a Thursday and all the people there looked to have a good time. The only knock
Great little Irish pub with interesting old decor. Good service and nice selection of beer and cider on tap as well as a full bar. Convenient location and near lots of other great food places. I didn't eat here so I can't really review the food but hope to go back and try it soon.
Good beer selection and standard pub fare. Beers on tap include some local micros (typical IPAs) as well as the usual Irish beers. Shepherd’s pie is reliably good. There is an outside area as well. If you want an Irish pub, this is your only option in downtown Bethesda and it’s totally fine.
The Harp & Fiddle is everything you could want in a classic Irish pub. The atmosphere is very well thought out, the food is excellent, and there's a quaint little outdoor seating area for the summer months. Although the draft menu is admittedly quite short, they make up for it with a long list of sp
Lively casual bar that serves food. There are darts in the back as well. I was pleasantly surprised by the band and dancing here on a Saturday night. The Guinness is good and the food is complimentary to the beers but not memorable.
