Louisiana Kitchen & Bayou Bar - Bethesda - Photo album

The poboys are the go to meals at this restaurant, reminds me of New Orleans. The beignets are a tasty desert for the entire family to enjoy. The muffaletta is a little smaller then a traditional muffaletta, but still packs an amazing taste. Lastly, the jambalaya is just spicy enough to give you tha
My favorite Louisiana style restaurant and bar in Maryland or Washington DC. Whether it's celebrating Mardi Gras, enjoying football Sunday's, grabbing weekend breakfast or brunch OR you in the mood for some beignets, alligator bits, half and half po-boys, or etouffee LKBB definitely will not disapp
I liked it. My boyfriend is from Louisiana so he wanted to argue about what color the gravy should be, but I loved it. Great service and great food.
Best Cajun food in a 500 mile radius. I've been to New Orleans several times and still haven't had a better roux or gumbo. Lived in Bethesda all my life among all these amazing restaurants. Still goto Louisiana Kitchen at least 2-3 times a week. Owner is extremely friendly as well and treats eve
PLUSES: My family & I were glad to find this New Orleans cuisine restaurant in Berhesda, close to home! 4 of us enjoyed lunch their this past Saturday. 24 year old daughter loved the shrimp po'boy, 22 year old vegetarian/vegan son enjoyed the vegetable stir fry, husband enjoyed the seafood platter
Very good! This is coming from someone from Louisiana. Just don't get their red beans. They also serve biscuits instead of cornbread. My favorite is the gumbo and crab balls. Get the appetizer gumbo, as it's half the price and more than enough for one person.
I love this little place... their dirty rice and Gumbo is to die for!!! And did I mention you can get a shot of Hennessy for $8? As long as I work in Montgomery county they will have a customer. The manager whose name I cant remember, the big guy that's in there is so nice!
Carlos (one of the owners) is the man! I have been going to this restaurant since I was a boy in high school. The food is excellent and a lot of the servers from when I was a kid still work there. They are quick and the food is fantastic. Order the Cajun fries and a jambalaya! You won't regret it.
Always delicious! The food is excellent and the portions are generous but not overwhelming. Try the po'boys or rotisserie chicken, or the soft shell crab if available. The service is always great! A true Bethesda gem.
Omg! I’v been going here since I was a teenager with my best friend. Great customer service, excellent food! If you really wanna get a taste of Louisiana food, here it is. I would definitely recommend the “Catfish Po boy” best dish in the house ( in my opinion). Great place for food. 👍🏼😊
A little cramped and close, but deservedly popular. While not thematically related to the establishment's food genre, the blueberry pancakes were absolutely first-rate. Service was fast, friendly, and attentive to filling water glasses.
Had a craving for some New Orleans cuisine ever since I took my first trip earlier this year. This place was pretty good. I had the red bean omelette along with crab egg rolls.
I absolutely love this place! We had the alligator beignets, the Jamabalaya works, a shrimp Po'boy and beignets for dessert. It was all very flavorful and the staff was very attentive. We had a great table at the window and it was a wonderful meal. The only drawback were the dessert beignets. Th
The prices are a little high, but the food is excellent. As is the service! On Fat Tuesday, they will offer Mardi Gras drink and food specials, including king cakes. Their brunch is particularly exquisite; go for the omelettes!
Love this place. Followed it here from the original location, moved by long time employees when the owner retired. Fantastic food. Started years ago with the oyster po'boy. Light, non-greasy frying on authentic po'boy roll with house made remoulade, perfect. Sunday brunch with eggs bayou on artichok
