The atmosphere was so nice! A nice little cozy restaurant with such nice staff and amazing food! I went for the first time a couple days ago and it was so good I had to come back the next day! I ordered the lunch box special both times and it was amazing!
Aji Nippon has been open over 30 years. I grew up eating their food as what I know to be Japanese cuisine and having been to Japan and back, I am glad that it was. The decor, the music, the attention to detail in their food. Amazingly brings a real piece of Japan to a random little spot in Bethesda.

Peaceful atmosphere, great sushi and kind waitstaff. The fish was extremely fresh and and the quality was superb. At a little less than 7.00 a roll for how good the sushi was I am very impressed and will definitely go back again for lunch.

The food is always perfect quality, and the waitress is super accommodating and kind. The restaurant is small, quaint and simple, but the food never disappoints. Went here for Valentine's dinner. Very intimate. 🥰Sushi was spot on! We were blow away by the Udon, beef dumplings and ginger ice cream 🍨 🍜 🍣 Highly recommend this gem and we will be back!
