Not a bad little place to grab some quick raw vegan food. Raw food is hard to come by sometimes. The veggie BLT looks awesome but could use a little more sauce/flavor between the bread. I also have tried the zucchini noodles with the walnut bolognese. It had a lot more flavor. I would eat here again and would like to try some of the other raw options.
Super healthy juice and fun. Conveniently located near lots of shopping. Very vegan friendly.
First time trying it. It's pretty good. Mighty pricey though! Wish their single bottles of pressed juice were of glass bottles. Not a fan of plastic bottles, settling doesnt shake too good. Their shots are good. i really enjoyed the kale. Wish it had some lemon to it or cayenne.
Very good place. I mainly had their cold press juices and they're pretty good. I like the price compared to the place I have to go to by my job. Highly encourage anyone to give it a try and give it your own judgment. Also as a Mexican I appreciate the welcoming environment. This place is helping me wean off my bad eating habits... I enjoy that it's helping me give up fast food. The style of eating and drinking is the future.
Really good! Kinda pricey, but relative to the area. I prefer the shake because it has added protein and makes for a quick meal on the go. You can expect to spend around $12 for a juice or shake. You’re mainly paying for the ingredients that are all organic. Don’t be afraid to ask questions as the workers are very helpful. You can either select a fresh bottled juice from the cooler or opt for a shake from the menu. An open prep station allows you to watch your shakes come to life. Juices from the cooler are fresh-squeezed daily and come in a glass bottle. My favorites are the Gojulius shake and the Black Magic juice.
Amy - the owner - is fabulous, kind, and very helpful. Her concept and products are superb and the best in the area. Puree was sold in my gym and this is where I was introduced to them. I take a hike to get to them now, but it’s worth the investment because of how incredible I feel after consuming their products. Thanks to Amy & Crew for doing your part to keep the DMV healthy :).
(P.s. — the other notes about the staff... I find them to be very kind, thoughtful and helpful. THey are on the young side, so they are likely new to customer service — give them some slack and let Amy know in person as opposed to on the web so she work things out. I enjoy the juices but they are so pricey. I have the juice fast a few times. I lost some weight and felt great.
I can’t say enough about Purée! We have been a big fan for quite some time. Then recently started also doing their juice cleanse to start launching a eating change, weight less and wellness approach. Now that has been a regular part of my healthy eating routine!
Can’t live without it in the neighborhood. Fresh clean and hits the spot especially after a trail ride or work out or getting one for the kids before as a pick up before homework.
Really like the juices. They do tend to run out of coconut water a lot but when you run a fresh juice bar you are bound to run out of certian things pretty quick and its gotten me to try juices and shakes I normally wouldn't and glad I did. If your not a big juicer beware the ginger shot. Its really intense.
Back in Germany I realy miss this Juice Bar. These meals brought down my weight and were so incredebly tasty.
Walnut burrito is a bit spicy, filled with lots of walnuts and avocado. Charcoal water is mildly sweet, less intimidating than it looks.
First time visiting the Bethesda store. Service was great. Love the peanut butter cup shake.
