I come about three times a month, early morning on the weekends, and I'm never disappointed. I get the whole grain everything bagel, toasted, with extra veggie cream cheese. If the weather is good it's nice to be able to sit outside.

Absolutely amazing. Zero reason for anything less than 5 stars. Left US 13 years ago and still fantasise about Georgetown Bagelry. Will be going back for blueberry bagel with jam and bacon and scooped out everything with light cream cheese and provolone open face asap!

Bagels here are made fresh. Reasonably priced. Parking lot is wide open and cheeses are delicious

If you are going to Sarah's for ice cream, make sure to swing by Georgetown to pick up bagels for your next meal or breakfast tomorrow. When I drove to this area, my intent was just to get Sarah's. When I saw that this store front just a few steps away, I had to stop in. I'm really glad I did.
Incredible bagels, even next day. I ordered blueberry and pumpernickel rye. I also got a small container of the whitefish salad, which is SO. GOOD. I would actually go out of my way just to get that from Georgetown Bagelry.
What set this visit apart was the customer service. I came in right at the last minute, when the store front was dead and ready to close up. Even though it was late and the end of the day, the staff was friendly and even struck up conversation with me, rather than quickly pushing me out the door.

Great bagels, white fish salad, lox cream cheese. The white fish salad has been saltier than usual lately (unfortunately), but it's still good. Love the early morning hours and good service!

Great bagels done right, large with good crust, standard varieties freshly made. Friendly service and can be very popular at times with a line out the door. Top notch smoked salmon, whitefish and cream cheeses are standouts.

Really good bagels, and the cream cheese is perfect. There are occasional off days where you'll get a cinnamon raisin with no raisins or an overly salty everything bagel, but personally, I still find it worth it for the overall texture and flavor.

Being a NY native, I tend to be a little picky when it comes to quality bagels. While not perfect, Georgetown Bagelry does an excellent job compared to some of the bagel spots in the DC area. 5 stars for the menu and fresh bagels. One star knocked off for the expensive prices.

Really top notch bagels in an area that, frankly, doesn't have many options for good bagels. Bagels are hefty and have just the right amount of chew. They have a lot of variety and make some really killer bagel sandwiches. Not much in the way of decor. It's all about the bagels here.

Great bagels. Very quick to go through orders. They have awesome fresh-squeezed orange juice. Coffee is just ok. When getting sandwich order it is not always right....but still very good.

Good place to get bagels, the crowded times shift. Probably one of the better ones in the area. A lot of effort goes into getting everyone what they ordered in a timely manner.

Great homemade bagels with breakfast toppings, or Boar's Head cold cuts, even lox cream cheese of top quality. Family owned and operated too.

GO OFF-PEAK! Better customer service and more attention provided.
That said....Go Micah!!!
Got a bacon, cheese and egg on poppy seed and it was delicious.

Kind lovely staff with killer bagels! Love the everything with cream cheese and lox. My teething son LOVES the plain bagel bites! Yu-ummm!

I drive in from the Virginia countryside a couple of days a week to help my son with a project nearby. Badu's smiling face along with a toasted "everything bagel" and peanut butter make my morning happy!

Georgetown Bagelry is one of the oldest bakeries in DC. It was created in the 1980s in Georgetown on M street, until finding its current home in Bethesda. They have fresh bagels everyday that are boiled and made correctly, New York style. Bacon egg and cheese bagel sandwiches and lox and cream cheese bagel sandwiches are very popular, along with the delightful pizza bagels, and filling bagels dogs. The bagel shop has many qualities you might see in a deli, but they identify with baking first and foremost. Residents of the area, understand that most employees have worked there for 10+years and a few around 20+ years. This helps create and atmosphere of family, community and small business. Georgetown Bagelry has engrained itself in the Georgetown, DC, Bethesda community, and strives to remain an institution that can be relied upon to deliver a great product. You can tell that the Georgetown bagel crew love what they do!
