Breads Unlimited - Bethesda - Photo album

Coming from germany, the bread in the united states is really ... not that great. Breads unlimited is the only bakery I found so far, that has good bread. It's a bit on the expensive side (~$12 for 2 lbs), but it's also really good. I gladly take the 1 hour drive to get there - tastes like home.
Local bakery that has seasonal treats as well as sweets for every taste. Staff are friendly, patient and helpful. Got a couple pastries to go. Was a little hard to decide as they all look yummy!

The coffee? Superb! And on top of all that, great prices. Enthusiastically recommended. I don't live t

Breads Unlimited made my wedding cake and desserts. Their staff is professional, supportive, knowledgeable, and a joy to work with. It goes without saying that the desserts were absolutely delicious! Thank you, Breads Unlimited! -Doug and Sarah
The customer service here is very good. The Bethesda location seems to be filled with regulars (including myself) who are beyond satisfied with the pastries, sandwiches, and importantly, the quality of service. The challah bread is a personal favorite of mine. I hope to come here for many more years
Wonderful diverse selections of breads and baked goods. Friendly, helpful service. Parking on weekends and lunch time can be a challenge.
One of the best kept secrets of Bethesda. Excellent service. Truly wonderful baked goods, including several German pastries, quiche, and dozens of adorable decorated cookies. Also, affordable, unlike most of the shops just down the street in the overly trendy Bethesda Row. SHOP LOCAL! I'm going t
