On a scale of romances to documentaries, Flower Child is a summer read set in the country. Bright colors are the rule of thumb when it comes to decor, and the menu provides a number of healthy and tasty options. My partner opted for a bowl and added salmon, and I went for a wrap...and in the very typical way, I wish I had ordered what they had ordered. Parking was plentiful, and we really enjoyed our visit!

Everything is so delicious here. I always get one of their bowls and have never been disappointed. Lots of seating inside and out. I like meeting friends here for a quick meal. They have wine too.

Great healthy options from salads to protein bowls to kids meals. Avocado toast was tasty on seed bread and cauliflower risotto uses a lemon zest for extra flavor. Also love the local beers on tap.

Great restaurant with nice outdoor seating. We came for lunch and were lucky to find a table outside. Inside decor is very cute and spacious. It’s part of a small shopping center so it’s convenient to go to CVS or get delicious ice cream next door. Plenty of parking soaces.

The Avo hummus is delicious. The bread is fresh. The restaurant is nice and clean. And staff is nice. But you might need extra time for the food. I order only chopped salad and hummus it takes about 25 minutes.

I was heartbroken when the Flower Child near me closed (the space is still available to lease FC!) but was thrilled to see this location still open. This one was amazing too. Very nice employees, large space, cute decor. The food is all healthy with most of the dish being some type of vegetable. It is not vegetarian unless you want it to be. They have a selection of proteins that includes meat and other options. My old standby (Forbidden Rice) was still on the menu but the Glow Bowl was making promises it was able to keep. It had sweet potato noodles with shitake mushrooms, squash, and other vegetables and two slices of lime. It's got an Asian flavor to it with a hint of ginger and sunflower seeds. The steak wad the right choice for protein. I also had the yuzu roasted Brussels sprouts which was also delicious but ended up being too much food with the glow bowl. They have the option to create an entree out oft the sides too. My gf had the Spaghetti squash and zucchini "bolognese" with grilled chicken was tasty too. Love it and we'll be back again and again.

They have indoor and outdoor seating, which is very nice. Their was a line but it went quickly. You place your order give them a table number and they will bring the food to you. The servers were very friendly and helpful. The salmon with brussel sprouts is my favorite. The washroom were very clean.

This was a great place to meet my friend from Arlington who is gluten-free. She lives in Virginia and I live in Wheaton and Flower Child was right in between us with easy access right off the beltway. The place has feel-good vibes and the good choices are fresh and delicious with many gluten free options.

Delicious food, I loved the Ginger Miso Crunch salad, and the side of glazed sweet potatoes was yummy. But the menu is a little confusing to me (what exactly is an entree?), it's kinda pricey, and take out service took longer than I had hoped. In the end, the food tasted great, and that's my main takeaway from the experience.

*Celiacs Safety Within* While this is not a gluten free kitchen, this restaurant does it's best to reduce cross contamination and have options on the menu that are not only celiac-friendly, but also delicious. Value: Great bang for the buck Summary: Flower Child is a great "Counter Service" style operation. The menu as very clear and they have simple, yet delicious options. I have had things I loved, and things that I liked less. But, I have never eaten anything bad. Staff is friendly, and the atmosphere is inviting and social. This is an encellent place to grab a meal without stretching your wallet. Food: Comes out quickly and is delicious. With a rotating menu, it's hard to keep up all the time. But my favorites are: Steak, GF Mac and Cheese, "Queso", and the green beans Service: Prompt and friendly. Marked it down one star for one encounter regarding "chips portion". We had way more queso than the portion of chips that we were given. When we asked for more chips, the staff member told us that we would have to pay for them and walked away. We wanted to finish the queso since it is one of our fav dishes. When I went to the counter to order, the friendly cashier said "I'll just go grab you some more." Which we found to be a very customer service driven approach. But other than this small infraction, every step of service is great!. This is going to be a staple of places I go to eat out. Couldn't recommend it more!.

Great food, facility, and service but I give Atmosphere only 4 stars because they need blinds on the windows. During the day you can get blinded by sun glare reflecting off the windshields of cars parked outside. The same visual discomfort happens at night only from the headlights of cars and some are there waiting for food pickup so a diner facing the windows may wish he/she was sitting elsewhere.

They serve food that is healthy and tasty, can't ask for much more. They have much healthier options than most restaurants. Prices are normal for the Bethesda area.
