The beet gazpacho is amazing! I don't even like beets, but my husband and I are hooked on this! Disappointed they closed their store, but I appreciate the delivery option. All great ingredients and healthy food.
Finally a place I can enjoy all of their food! Unfortunately I'm on a low salt, low fat, veggie-based diet due to health challenges. I can eat almost everything here and it's all amazing! Great customer service, delicious soups, muffins, sandwiches and cookies. First seen on Shark Tank, this is my
Always delicious vegan and kosher soups and salads. The baked goods and desserts on offer are scrumptious as well. Their frequent customer program is quite generous, you can earn triple points on Tuesdays! All of the staff have been courteous and friendly without fail. I love stopping by here after
Delicious soups made by the owner (thē Soupergirl). Everything is vegan, kosher, and DELICIOUS! Samples of "today's hot soups" are usually available for you to ladle up and try. Other soups can be picked up out of the fridge and reheated at home. Always fresh! Come try it!
The best kosher soup period! I work nearby and when I need that extra push of energy, I purchase lunch from Souper girl! They constantly have the block smelling great and they have a fab reward card system. All the vegetables are locally grown and the taste is amazing! I highly recommend this eatery
I’ve been here two times now, dinned in the first time and the second time I got to go. I enjoyed both trips! I was craving soup today but they had closed quite early today so I wasn’t able to enjoy some today. :( So far I’ve tried their Greek Red lentil and Autumn Chili (or autumn vegetable chili,
I visit soup girl for the first time yesterday and it was delicious,,,, I ate a bowl there and took 3 medium bowls to go... It was perfect for me with trying to eat healthy... I had the smoky squash... I gave my mother one and she loved it also.
Delicious! Love the split pea rosemary & the gazpacho. Great delivery option for meal train. Highly recommend and love to see the soups in grocery stores too.
Delicious soups and cold salads, and don't skip the rice pudding! I also love that, as a Celiac, I can usually choose between 2-3 gluten-free soups. The fact that it's the only place within 45 minutes of work that I can take my friends who keep Kosher is just an added bonus.
I enjoy walking around the quaint city of Takoma Park. The mother-and-daughter-owned Souper Girl is one of my favorite stops for homemade soup. During the pandemic I stopped and ordered a pint of East African Peanut( bean) soup. And i also ordered a pint of sweet potato soup. They were both so fi
Oh the places we'll go. Takoma Park has a number of vegan options, but Soupergirl is always first on our list. Sample any of the fresh soups, sit down with one, and take several with you. Haven't tried a soup yet that I didn't love. Organically grown, locally sourced ingredients whenever possibl
The soups were amazing! You can try all the soups before committing to one, or but you'll probably decide that you need to buy all four!! It was 30 degrees in DC today and my Greek red lentil soup really hit the spot. And free crouton refills! Thanks Soupergirl!
When in DC from NYC kosher foods is limited. Soupergirl helps to fill that void with some kosher healthy choices. The quality is good, service extremely helpful and their restaurant is spotless. Their hard work and determination is paying off, and seeing their product in one out local grocery stores
Wow. Wow wow wow. The delivery was super quick! I've tried the Thai chickpea extravaganza and the mulligatawny so far, and I'm HOOKED. It's so good. Just so so good. I'd been trying to find a good soup place for aaaaaages. And here we are.
I enjoy soupergirl food both at the takoma location and as a cleanse delivered to my house. Really enjoy all the soups except for a few that could have used a tiny more flavor. The store is well organized and clean, the staff is very friendly and my interactions when ordering the food were very good
Terrifically healthy, vegan, and local. Sample the soups to make sure it's your thing. I typically add hot sauce and salt, but it is nice to have the choice. Good gazpacho in summer. Winderful bread rolls. Really good salads. WiFi. Pretty chill atmosphere. Right across from Takoma metro.
After finally checking out Soupergirl for the first time, I had the pleasure of meeting the owner, Sara Polon. She greeted me and processed my order for my first ever soup there! She was very courteous and engaging even though I randomly showed up 40 minutes after they had closed 🤣 Sara is the epid
