Review Azteca 3 Mexican Restaurant - Bettendorf

Chips and salsa 😋were good. Their margaritas were in every size from small to monster & all flavors. 🍋lime, blue🫐,🍑,🍓& Piña Colada which were refreshing. Now their menu people, it had many pages of authenticity beyond ur normal menus with gr8 selection of seafood & meat choices. There 🍖meat was so juicy but not greasy I drank it up afters like soup.

I used to rave about Azteca 3. Spent many birthdays there, many celebrations, many dining out nights. But it has gone drastically downhill. Prices have gone up and quality has gone down. Service is pretty much non-existent. It took 20 minutes to even have them take our drink order, they forgot about my cocktail, never refilled drinks, chips, anything. They dropped off our food and forgot an order of rice and beans. Before we could even mention it, they ran off and never came back to the table. The steak in the steak tacos was grisly, dry, and flavorless. The chicken tacos were dripping wet with broth and the shells disintegrated. Our kid didn't get ketchup for their fries, which they had asked for. We waited another 30 minutes after eating to get the bill. That's when we were finally able to tell them about the beans and rice. He asked if we wanted it now, we declined since we had already finished eating half an hour prior. My husband paid the bill and we left. The waiter came rushing out claiming we did not pay and were dining and dashing. My husband showed him our receipt and he still insisted. The cashier came out and pointed to a different car. He didn't apologize, just ran off after that car. I'm sad to say I'll never go back there. They were the best Azteca in town, and my favorite restaurant in the qc. But that just burned a bridge.

If AUTHENTIC mexican is what you want, there is NO PLACE better in the Quad Cities than Azteca 3. This restaurant is run by the original family that started the restaurant and built on mexican roots. The food and service is UNMATHCED. Just look at these photos. You can't find these sizes of meals, at this price and this level of mexican authenticity anywhere in the QC's. I haven't had a single bad dish here. I've had the opportunity to meet the entire team including head chef - fantastic people. The food really is as good as it looks. Definitely try the AZTECA 3 EXCLUSIVES - dishes designed and sold only by the Azteca 3 location!

Went here for the first time and took my order to go. I had the enchiladas rancheras, fish and beef taco with cilantro and onion for dinner. Carne asada for lunch the next day. The place was a bit busy because it was Cinco de mayo. I didn't have to wait for too long for my food either, I might of waited 15 minutes so not bad. I recommend the fish taco and drizzle it with lime juice, it was delicious. The Carne asada was good as well, but the beef could of used some seasonings. The enchiladas was on point, but can use some more sauce. I've also attached some photos of the menu since the website does not have it. Edit: Went here two more times, and my experience had dramatically changed. So much so that I had to give it 1 star. First, the food like the shrimp burrito, and steak burrito, was just a few shrimps and steaks pieces wrapped in a tortilla that's it! No rice, beans and whatever else is supposed to be in a burrito. I was then given an attitude when I asked for salsa sauce with the nachos, because it didn't come with it, by the way this was all for pick up. Just the overall attitude of the staff was very bad, not welcoming, had attitude, and did not want to be bothered. The overall cleanliness was dirty and messy. Not sure what happened from the first time I came here to the last 2 but I will surely not be coming back. What a disappointment.

I had never eaten there before last night and it is by far the best food and best experience I've had at a restaurant. Our server was amazing from start to finish. 10/10 I highly recommend!

There are TWO things I absolutely LOVE here: 1) the margaritas, which are amazing, affordable, and generous, and 2) the Chori Pollo, which is a en entree with grilled chicken and chorizo. Service is always good, atmosphere is uplifting, and we never have to wait to get a table. The churro dessert is also pretty good!

They weren't that busy and we were told to seat ourselves. Someone brought us out chips and salsa and after waiting about a half an hour before anyone asked if we would like drinks or checking on us at all we decided to leave. I'm not sure we will be going back to this location.

We visited on Mother's day. Food was great along with $5 margaritas. Service was also pretty amazing too.I belive this is our new Mexican restaurant.

But ...we have ate there a lot and food is great but they must of had a bad nite???Ordered a draft beer came to me flat .. .waited for our waitress to come back never did....i had to take it to the bar myself....didnt get any chips and salsa ...had to ask for it x2.then came right before our meal...which my meal was also wrong...waitress never checked on us ..so just ate what I could ..left the rest ..no drink refills ..etc so we will never sit in the back again ...wasnt that busy neither.....hope this isn't the way it's going to ..?????? Or we won't be back ...we drive 45 minutes to eat at your place ...

We love this restaurant and the staff is always so wonderful to our family!
