Ordered by phone and was told 30 minutes. My pizza is over cooked and dry. It wasn’t very warm. Maybe it was ready in 10 minutes instead? I just don’t know. It looks like what you’d see sitting on the buffet for a while. Never had this happen before at happy joes.

We got a taco pizza, a veggie pizza, and a sausage & pepperoni pizza. They were all excellent. Of course, that was expected. Happy Joe's Pizza is the best pizza of any ever with the best and ONLY pizza worthy of being called TACO pizza. If you haven't tried Happy's yet, don't waste anymore of your life. Run to your nearest Happy Joe's. Order it delivered across the country if you must. Of course, it will cost you; but if you just can't wait until you are back in a Happy Joe's city, it is worth the money. Depends on your level of obsession. Mine is VERY high for my taco friend.

Great lunch buffet!! Many choices of pizza and very nice salad bar. Service was superb. Servers were very attentive and friendly. A great casual dining experience. Highly recommend.

None of them acted like they wanted to do much
Asked one of them about singing happy birthday and was told none of them knew the birthday song
Ordered ice cream , took for ever to get as they didn’t know how to make the clown Sunday , ordered a strawberry malt, none of them knew how to make a malt , one gal even made a couple of phone calls to ask someone how to make
Took at least 20 mins plus to get 1- sunday , 1- ice cream cone , 1- single dip cup of ice cream plus 1 strawberry malt
Absolutely needs either mgr or training
Might be why the place was virtually empty the entire time we were there

When the recall on onions was happening couple months ago in the fall I got food poisoning from here. Ordered pizza late around 830 picked it up came home and overnight next morning was sick. Loved happy joe’s for many years all over Iowa. This location completely turned me off to happy joe’s entirely. Go to uncle bills or Harris and save yourself any issues

Very disappointed. Ordered the Happy Joe's special and hardly any saurkraut was on the pizza. You can't expect to charge the way you do for pizza and not put anything on it. Maybe retraining the kitchen staff is in order. I guess we will have to order Harris instead.

We did an online order for 3:30 about 40 min before we were going to pick up. We got there and they hadn't even made the order. To their credit the gentleman was apologetic, they put our order in right away and we came back 10 min later to pick it up. The taco pizza is amazing and just as good as I remembered almost 20 years ago! My husband got a calazone which he said was so good. I guess it was worth the wait.
