This place is sooooo cute! My sis suggested this place because of the rating on another app.
The decor is super cute, service was good, everything's very clean and nicely displayed. All the pastries looked amazing.
I absolutely love croissants and even though I don't eat dairy anymore, I made an exception here because I saw the reviews and everyone said the croissant was amazing....they were right. THIS WAS THE BEST CROISSANT IVE EVERRRRR HAD.
I can't even describe how amazingly perfect it was. Soooooo crisp and flaky on the outside, but moist and almost chewy on the inside. But..the flavour......seriously......a-m-a-z-I-n-g.
Then we tried the raspberry tart. I don't know how they do it..but it was exceptional. Not too sweet, lots of fresh raspberries. Delicious.
Then we tried the smashed Avocado toast, tuna sandwich and green smoothie.
The green smoothie was soo good. The smashed toast was also so good. The tuna sandwich was o.k.
I would fly back just for the croissant and smoothie lol it's seriously so good
This place has the best croissants !! Freshly baked they taste so good you have to try them if you're in the Beverly Hills area. Espresso isn't that bad while the orange juice is freshly squeezed and is amazing.
Must visit !
As others have said, the croissants are excellent here. They make a very nice cup of coffee as well, and the OJ is actually fresh squeezed on order. Neat place to sit and watch various Hollywood / Beverly Hills types pull up in thier Bentlys and Rolls Royces to get thier coffee!
They're known for their incredible almond croissants, try to get it fresh and hot. Their coffee is good too. They have some moroccan inspired dishes for breakfast which I didn't personally try but heard that it was good. The atmosphere and decor is quite nice despite it's small size. I'm sure the rest of their pastries are wonderful too, but I'd have to try them. The food travels well to-go. Have ordered a breakfast sandwich several times to-go.
we put chaumont bakery on our to-eat list after reading about its opening a little less than a year ago. cute back story: owned by a young french couple. everything is baked on premise. while beverly hills is not my usual hang out, we were passing through and decided to finally dropped by! even though we wanted to order everything, we ended up ordering: strawberry tart strawberry short cake on presentation alone, these pastries are amazing! verdict: pastries were delicious! we put these babies down in less than 2 minutes. (we have no self-control) pastry cream was a winner. not too sweet. crust was crispy (great texture) and buttery. i mean… i can go on and on… pastries: we are fans and will definitely come back for more.
That French woman Cecile was right — the chocolat croissants are some of the best in LA. They aren’t the largest, they aren’t the flakiest, nor the most chocolaty, but there’s something about the daintiness of it all. A tarte tatin here is $5, and I’ll take that over Bread Lounge’s $8 boreck any day.
Pastries were freshly prepared, well made and full of flavor.
Ordered a Turkey and Cheese pastry, asked 2 times to be hot, unfortunately the guy at the register prepared it and it was just lukewarm on the outside and cold on the inside. Tasted good and fresh, just wanted it hot. The Guava and Cheese Croissant was excellent.
Ordered 2 Coffee Mochas, Dark and White Chocolate each one separately, and the White Mocha didn’t tasted good for me, and had to add some sugar to it. The Dark Mocha was good, but still want it with some sweet on it.
The bathroom was very clean and the staff was friendly.
I placed the order to eat inside and one order to go. Didn’t get utensils and napkins, and had to request for them when received my order.
I think it’s just details to continue working.
Suggestion:
-Bigger tags with the names of the pastries.
-If someone requested a coffee, don’t give it extra hot, not all the people want it that way, upon request.
I’ll give another try soon.
Chaumont was okay in food— fabulous pretty interior and cute outdoor seating space, the cashiers are super nice and the pastries seemed fresh although I didn’t get any. I got the avocado tartine and the matcha latte with less ice and coconut milk… overall they did everything right and the presentation of my takeout order was great but the flavor and taste / quality of the food was just okay. Impeccable service, interior, presentation, but the food wasn’t super beyond what I imagined. It was my first time and I think I had higher expectations for it being in Beverly Hills; the food isn’t bad itself (definitely satisfied my avocado toast craving) but it also wasn’t the best I’ve had. I would come back for the vibes and the service though; it’s a great place to sit down and catch up with friends or have a business meeting. Would definitely recommend coming here for coffee and a light bite if you’re in BH and looking for something more affordable than the rest of downtown BH!
Amazing food specially the egg and cheese crossant and the pastries to die for my favorite is the guava and cheese
Took a while to get our coffee. They seemed a bit understaffed. However they made it right and the food was amazing. Highly recommend this place.
Great service. Regardless, if you go to the reg. Cafe or vegan side.
A definite place to visit. Go when this first open to beat the crowd.
Everything was amazing. Their crossant texture was different but I loved it.
Delicious pastries and brunch dishes available at Chaumont.
All of the food offerings are excellent and will keep you coming back to try them all.
The Almond Chocolate Croissant is our favourite and perfectly baked with really nice layers.
You can dine in/outside or takeout.
Restrooms at the back of the store.
The staff are very helpful and friendly too!
All vegan french pastries and they are beyond amazing!! I can't wait to come back early to get a even better selection of pastries!! Sooooo Delicious!! Thank you!!
Just revisited 11/12/22 and the selection was plentiful! Sweet and savory pasties that can't help but make your day!! Pure deliciousness 😋
We came here on 3/19/23. Staff was very nice. Food was great. Croissants were flaky and buttery. The cafe au lait was so good. The other pastry I tried I cannot remember name but it’s the one with chocolate pictured was delicious. Super chocolaty though. My husband got the almond croissant and it was great too. Only small tiny gripe, I wish they had more sunshades over tables. Other than it I would definitely come back again if we’re in town.

Delicious, fresh baked pastries. The bread is perfectly crispy outside and moist and soft on the inside. The service is a bit slow and disorganized but my breakfast was delicious. The omelet was perfectly cooked and the smoothie was just what I needed.
Chaumont (Beverly Hills) thought it was all "hype" but apparently others were correct. The dam "croissant" is pure AMAZING!
Parking: Metered parking on Beverly drive and surrounding streets
What was tried:
- Breakfast croissant = YUM!
- Moroccan breakfast = It was good but don't think I would order again
- Almond chocolate banana croissant = AMAZING!
- Pain Suisse = PURE AMAZING!
- Chopped salad is NOT worth the money fyi
Missing Pear and bread in general need to try since they ran out.
Seriously the best croissant in town. It was the closest to the ones I get in France. I thought LA didn’t have many good french bakeries, but this place is so good! Crispy outside with buttery inside, and of course it is so cute. They even have a vegan section next door. Olive and feta croissant is really good when you want something savory, and I always get the chocolate and regular butter croissant. Coffee is not bad either!
Love love this place.. ate here 2 morning's in a row. I had the crushed avacado omelet delicious! My husband had croissant egg sandwich again... delicious!!! 2nd morning I had the lamb sausage with eggs, it was very different but not bad. I also had the banana croissant and the almond croissant both were very flaky and tasted amazing. I believe Jose helped me he was very kind and when I mentioned that I didn't get charged nor did he remember to give me my strawberry desert well.... he gave me a 50% discount:)))) If we are ever back in town I will definitely be returning.
I really love the environment here~it feels comfortable and enjoyable while eating their desserts! Their bread is really good!
The sweetness is medium-low. The price is a little high. The feeling is awesome!
Delicious bakery that does pastries like in France or Switzerland. Nothing soggy here but nice and crunchy in the outside and soft and delicious in the inside. Also had their avocado toast which was one of the best I’ve had in a long time
Almond cake is so great! It tasted a little like canele but not too sweet!
Croissants are good too, so tasty but not cheap.
One of the best French pastries shops in LA. Totally obsessed with their food. All favors of croissants are amazing, both sweet and salty one are unforgettable delicious!!
Have been here continuously 3 times within a week, always amazed with how crispy of the croissant taste🥲. Coffee was moderate, but MUST EAT croissant 🥐❤️
