You had me at omakase! We both had the regular omakase and from the first bite to the last I was delighted with the freshness of the fish, the simplicity of the flavors and taste of each delicate bite. As each plate was placed on the table the waitress let us know what was being served, then if
The rolls here, even though only 4 pieces for fresh fish rolls, are filled generously. They are very well made- rolled right, and the Maki is neatly presented. The fish is definitely fresh and you can taste the mix of green onion with the fish which adds an additional element and is a great complem
Trust me, the sushi here is above & beyond the call of duty! 👌 The only regret I have was not having taken pictures of everything that was served during my ultimate🔝sushi course! ☝ When you make your way over here or there, do dab often, if not always, small portions of their unique creamy wasabi b
The food is incredible. I was recommended this place from a friend. We got the albacore sashimi, salmon sashimi, bono sashimi, tuna sashimi, crispy rice tuna, and miso soup. I also got a tuna hand roll that was really tasty.
Delivery was fast and food was fresh and really good. Makes me think about why I get sugarfish when I can get sasabune.
Does sushi here is very on point. You need to taste each food with all of its flavors. I would 100% recommend this and this is a very affordable place also
The sushi chef was very attentive and catered the omakase to each of our personal tastes. Possibly the biggest compliment was that even my wife, who does not usually eat fish and never eats sushi, enjoyed eating sushi! Definitely recommend this place. Added: We started our LA vacation at sasabune
Been here many times but it's actually getting better every time. Had a japanese omakase, chef choice. Quality, serving time, server, all exceptionally good. The best omakase I've had for past years.
We were in SoCal for a few days and our plans fell through. Sasabune was super-accommodating and able to seat us on short notice. It should've been Plan A. It's a very Tokyo-style menu. No goofy rolls, tempura, or avocado. Just outstanding ingredients and spare, purposeful technique.
Enjoyed the kayak selections on the menu. Our favorites were the beef tongue, Hashim appetizer, and the fluke Boccaccio. I also liked the rice balls. Would pass on the seaweed appetizer (didn't really like the taste) and the chicken meatballs (a kid-friendly option, but really nothing special). Serv
5/5 no explanation needed! Hitoshi-San and staff continuously prove excellence
Some of the best sashimi and sushi in LA. Also, was with my son, so a great dinner :)
This place has the best catch of the day on or any day for lunch and dinner. Everything on the menu is superb quality you can taste no where else. I highly recommend you try this place all of my friends love it. My friend and I just had dinner there he just flew in from DC. He rated the food as the
you must take the time and look at the sushi presented. some are visually as beautiful as tasty. some pieces are a work of art! servers were quite helpful.
Always a splendid experience. CHEF Ei took great care of us as usual. Like all the other visits he is very friendly and personable. Just sitting at the bar taking to him is a treat. The food is excellent. His Angelino twist in sushi was magical. I had stuff that I never tried before and it was di
