This is the best restaurant in Billings. I say that based on a number of things. One the food is consistently good. I am from Texas and always get the chicken fried steak and it's just about as good as any you'll get in the great state. Their chili is also outstanding and is also something I always get. They also have a really good kid's menu, with more choices than the typical chicken tenders and mac n cheese, and this is always a good sign in my book. The other thing that makes this the best place though is the service. Absolutely top notch servers. Well trained and motivated to serve, and we have not only never had a bad experience, but have had such excellent experience all the way around that I made it a point to tell the manager how great a job they are doing. The only thing I could say negative about the place is that whole things where they turn an already really loud atmosphere (they are always busy) and make it louder by turning up a couple of songs and force the servers to line dance to it. I could totally do without that and I know I'm not the only one, but if that's the worst thing about it, they are still head and shoulders above not only every other restaurant in Billings, but just about any one in any other city/ state in the country. Great place!
The prime rib and baked potato are to die for! I've eaten at a lot of very high end steak joints and this prime rib was the best I've had, hands down. Hats off to the owner and chefs for a job well done! If I'm back through town again, I WILL be stopping here for dinner.
Yesterday was my daughters birthday. We had an incident at home trying to cook a special dinner that didn't end well. We ended up celebrating at Texas road house and our waitress was incredible! Texas road house is already a family favorite but they made her night very special. I'd recommend them to anyone for their fantastic wait staff and top notch meals.
It was packed to the rafters but they got us in after a reasonable wait. Our server was wonderful, personable and attentive. She represented the business very well, quick to suggest items on the menu. The steaks were done to perfection and delicous. Wish we had one closer to home, or maybe not.;)

and we had an amazing server.
She totally loves her job.

Went to Texas road house when it first opened up, I don't remember the visit other than I was there. Went again a week ago and I must say it was the best service in town. The moment you walk in you are greeted by young, friendly employees. We didn't have to wait for anything. Fast friendly service, excellent food and did I mention great service! Oh and we were given a free appetizer to welcome us back.
We will be going back!
Was fantastic... background noise a bit much, but the waitresses were top notch and food was great.!!!!
When in Billings, MT, the Texas Roadhouse is a must! Seating is always very prompt, the staff efficient and courteous, and the food superb!

I love this place! It is by far my favorite restaurant in Billings. I have never had a bad meal or bad dining experience here. Last night was no exception. My husband and I will be back!
We stopped by for dinner after a long day of exploring and our server was Daniel. And let me start of just by saying this…. He was absolutely amazing!
We didn’t have a big meal by any means, we we’re pretty exhausted from the journey of the day, but everything came out so fresh and SO delicious.
With so many great restaurants in the area I am so glad we picked this one, Daniels courteous service and all his Yellowstone recommendations were greatly appreciated and we enjoyed our quick stay so much!!!
Management you are lucky to have him, treat him well - this kind of server in 2022 is hard to find! Best of luck with everything Daniel, stay safe all staff!!

Went to dinner with my girlfriend and the place was PACKED but it didn't lessen the experience for the food that was brought to us. I'm a big guy but I couldn't finish my meal so don't expect to leave hungry! Everyone was nice and kept conversation going when needed. Great place to eat out.
I have eaten here a couple of times and have not been disappointed. But I was blown away the last time I went. Everything was delicious especially the steak. The service was fantastic. I will definitely be back.
Excellent steaks, maybe the best in Billings. Great food otherwise. My wife had the beef ribs which were outstanding. Loud family place and often crowded. That's good.
OUTSTANDING service and food. Ordered their lunch special and mine was the pork chop... salad, great; loaded baked potato, great (almost a meal in itself); BUT, the pork chop itself, eh-h-h. Dry, overdone... told waiter that tho everything else had been great, the chop wasn't.
He apologized and brought another complete meal! THIS time everything was perfect! I'd already eaten the whole baked potato, and had little room for another meal, but I had to try it, and check out the pics. Couldn't have been any better
Driving through on our family vacation and stopped here for dinner. The staff was very friendly. I had a hard time picking something out, I didn’t want a huge portion, so I went for a salad with chicken on it, still massive. (Texas, I get it! We’re not bringing leftovers with us on the trip and to pay for food you’re not going to eat us a bummer). My daughter wasn’t fond of the cheeseburgers she ordered, kids can be particular. It was obvious she wasn’t into them and our server did her absolute best, without being pushy, to find something else that she’d eat, with no luck. With out us complaining or asking, the waitress took the uneaten cheeseburgers off our check. Which we really appreciated! Although maybe this restaurant wasn’t our cup of tea, the staff was great, you get lots of food and won’t go home hungry.
