The food was delicious and the service was very good. You do need to make a reservation. It is totally worth it. The atmosphere here is so cool and unique.

From start to finish, one of the best meals I’ve ever had (and I come from a family of great cooks). The service was also top notch.
Started with the mushroom bisque (incredible), the ahi tuna app was extremely flavorful, the soft shell crab reminded me of being in the Carolina’s, and the quail was sweet and tender. And the ambiance - It felt like having dinner at a friend’s house (if that friend happens to be a master chef).
Chef Carl Kurokawa’s delectable and unique board of fare will satisfy any and every palate. If you are planning on being in/near Billings, Juliano’s is a must.

This place is the definition of a 5 star experience! Exceptional food, fabulous service, all in a unique and cozy atmosphere. If you need a place for a romantic date, small Christmas party, or just a lovely lunch or dinner with friends, this is your spot!

I can't believe I've lived in Billings for six years, and I've only been here once, just a week before I'm set to move out of state. My wife and I sat on the patio, which felt like we were on our porch at home, we had the soft shell crab for a starter, and the only thing that could have made it better is if I could have had a whole bucket of crabs fried up like that. I had the rabbit dish, and the rabbit was cooked to perfection and absolutely incredible, and my wife had the escalar special, and I tried it and wished I had a bigger stomach, I'd have ordered that as well. Wine was also good, and all in all it made for a fantastic date night, thanks to the wonderful waitresses and chefs at Julianos.

My husband and I dined here for lunch, and it was definitely a 5 star experience! I had the Fresh Grilled fish over fettuccine with a glass of Pinot blanc. Everything was cooked and seasoned perfectly! Service was great also. Most surprising was the price, very affordable!
Dessert for me was French press Kona coffee with a plate of assorted chocolate, caramel, and dried fruit. Exactly what I was in the mood for. Hubby had the rhubarb crisp and vanilla ice cream, also yummy. Also, the French press pot of coffee was enough for both of us! We shared :-)
The outdoor patio seating looked very nice, but we ate indoors and that was a very comfortable as well.

Dinner was fabulous!!! We had the specials of the day. The bread is superb! But the best was the service. Can't believe it's taken us this many years to find this gem, we'll be back next time we are in town . Thank you for a wonderful evening.

Quite possibly the best restaurant in MT. I make it a point to visit Juliano's every time I'm in Billings. The food and wine are first class here, and the atmosphere is great. In my most recent trip (for my birthday), I had elk tenderloins in a delicious berry reduction sauce with garlic mashed potatoes and fresh sauteed veggies. Each item was cooked to perfection, the flavors were spectacular, and our wine complemented the meal beautifully. Even my salad was great; the chef's handmade dressings are creative and delicious. I would recommend this to anyone looking for an amazing dining experience in MT.

WORST DINING EXPERIENCE EVER. First, of all the waitresses there must really hate life. Our waitress, the 50 some year old with pulled back hair and glasses seemed as if she hated serving the publice. After telling her it was our first visit and if she could explain the menu, she said "What do you want to know" in a very annoying manner. After explaining the "Petite and Prawns" was a filet, my wife ordred this dish and asked for the heads to be removed and for her steak to be medium rare. Her dish came out, heads still attached, and her steak was cooked well done. However, we could not state our dissatisfaction with the way the steak was cooked, because this waitress never came to check on us until she delivered the check. I went inside to go to the restroom, and while I was inside waiting to use the restroom, my wife had expressed her displeasure in the steak to the waitress. While inside, with the open kitchen, I heard her state the following "the lady said her steak was over cooked and she doesn't want it". The cook and owner stated "what the F...K, it is a F...K..G london broil". The waitress then said "it is exactly what I F...K..G told her". It was amazing that this language was being used by the Chef/Owner and his employee. But there is no wonder that it as been 10 to 15 years since any award of significance has been given to this place. If you want to spend $50 to $100 a couple for a great dinner---GO TO THE MT RIB AND CHOP OR JAKES OR ENZO'S OR ANY NUMBER OF PLACES AS YOU WILL WASTE YOUR MONEY GOING TO JULIANO'S.

Poor service, disappointing food. I was excited by the quaint, lovely atmosphere of Juliano's - but the duck was gamey and oily, and I've never been made to feel so unimportant at a restaurant as I was by their staff. In fact, they forgot about my companions and me for so long and practically refused to give us our check, that we were all late to work afterward :(
