I visited Monday the 25th at 4pm. I called ahead and made a reservation for a group of 28. We were seated about 4:10. The hostess was amazing. While waiting on our table she talked with everyone and asked where everyone was from (we brought people from Texas, Ohio, Indiana, Alabama and Kentucky). They put the tables two rows side by side which was great because we were able to hang out with everyone (if it was one long row we wouldn't have been able to do that). Each row had a server and they were very attentive. The food was amazing. I ordered the fried red snapper with crab meat and seafood bread for the appetizer, there were gator bites ordered, my hubby ordered the seafood platter (he liked it but I felt like it needed to be bigger), my daughter ordered the shrimp and grits and she didn't like it, my cousin ordered the quesadilla. I can't even begin to tell you everything ordered and much more. The server even talked with everyone about where they were from and what they were interested in. She was honest about what she liked a lot and what she wasn't crazy about. That in itself means a lot. I hate when servers tell you everything is good. Felix came out and asked how everything was and if we needed anything. Everyone in the group said how great the Reef was. Thank you for showing the true southern hospitality. Can't wait to come again. Keep up the great job!!!

This place was absolutely the best! We enjoyed every food we ate. In fact, my husband and I voted this place the best restaurant we had been during our stay in Biloxi. We will definitely be returning! We give it 10 stars, if that’s possible!
We were there Wednesday the 4th after the fireworks. We knew we would be lucky to even get in considering the time (approximately 9:45). Service was excellent. And the Swamp Country shrimp and grits was absolutely the best shrimp and grits I’ve EVER eaten!!! And believe me, I’ve eaten shrimp and grits at every seafood restaurant I’ve been to along the coast from Florida to NOLA. Kudos to the chef! I will most definitely be back!!!
Once again dinner was great! Chelsea D. Is a wonderful server. Jo served last night. We are well pleased with the customer service and food!
We had two appetizers and four entrees. We loved it all. Fantastic and friendly service! Didn’t wait long for meals either. Absolutely the best restaurant we’ve eaten at in Biloxi!
Ate there for lunch today. Really enjoyed it. Had a good waiter and food was great! If ever back in this area will definitely eat there again!
We went on a busy Saturday nt about 545pm on 6/30. We were going to the colisieum to a show had to be there by 730p. Sebastian did a great job getting our food and courteous skills to get us fed and out of there. Good service from him . The food was good and plenty of if enjoyed our outing.
However not sure why their was empty tables like 5 and people were not being seated. So there is a problem there....
Seafood platter was really good and the service was great
My son from Louisiana was here and we went to eat at the Reef. It was fantastic! Food, astmoshere, and staff! I will be back❤️
A very busy place. I can totally see why. The food was truly top shelf. My group of 6 had completely different dishes and all were sensational. With the restaurant having about 70 patrons, having a truly quality meal is a challenge. It was presented in a reasonable amount of time and well prepared. This town is lucky to have this restaurant
friendly and knowledgeable service, good food, excellent banana bread cocktail!!!, peaceful view.....we picked this at random and were pleasantly surprised

The red shrimp were great. Even the potatoes and corn were good. It competed with food boiled from home. This was probably the best food I had on vacation.
Good food and service. Nice location with great water view. Crab dip is good. Grilled oysters were good as well. Guinness on tap is always a nice bonus.
Ate at The Sky Bar for Sunday lunch. Great service, good food and best of all $5 Bloody Mary's!! Shrimp po boy "fired up" is the way to go! Husband is a wing fanatic and said they were good.

Wonderful lunch, with a great view. Had the tuna dip, along with the mahi tacos. Enjoyed both of them very much. I'll definitely return again on my next trip to Biloxi!
Really good service & surprisingly refined seafood in a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. Our server Gabby was very attentive, but not overbearing. Great location!
My husband and I visited The Reef for his 35th birthday with
some of our close friends. The food was absolutely amazing!!!! Not only is the
building itself beautiful (with the giant under-the-sea mural painted on the
outside), but so is the presentation of their dishes. The Firecracker Shrimp
appetizer was delicious and could even be a meal as they were piled high. The
oysters were a great size and had a wonderful, salty flavor. We also ordered
the crab cakes, which were chock-full of lump crab meat. In addition, the sautéed
vegetables on the side were the perfect mixture with the right amount of
seasoning. The service was quick, and our server, Taylor, was polite and very
attentive. I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants
delectable food at an affordable price and a memorable experience.
We were really happy with our experience here! We went with friends on a Saturday night recently and of course it was really busy, but we were able to find a place at the bar for all 4 of us and got our drinks and then our table was ready (maybe 15 minutes after we arrived). Everyone was happy with their food which was served in good time. Hubby had the shrimp and grits which he enjoyed and I tasted - it's a little different from the typical but it was really good - very rich, so come hungry. I ordered a salad that I can't find on their online menu now, but I remember it had grilled shrimp, spring greens, pineapple, and normally comes with pico de gallo but I asked for just plain tomato instead. I got the orange ginger dressing and it was perfect! It was a huge salad and I could only eat about 2/3 of it.
After dinner we went up to the Sky Bar and the service was great. It was totally dark so by then do we couldn't see the gulf but if you came up during nice weather around sunset I bet it would be fantastic. The band that was there that night was alright that night, but not the best for dancing so we left after a while, but our waitress was really attentive and hustled the whole time we were up there.
Just took my wife out for a dinner date, and we picked The Reef. We were promptly seated and greeted by our waiter Taylor. He was very professional and helped with our selections. My wife had the Mac Daddy Roni. She said at first it tasted good, but started having a strange taste. She wasn't sure if it was her or the food. I had the grilled Crabby Snapper with the veggies and it was a very good tasting fish. Moist, meaty, clean flavored, and perfectly seasoned. We ended with a slice of Salted Caramel Cheesecake. It was very good! We enjoyed the dinner and will return again.
Came here on the 4th of July, so it was busy. We ended up sitting at the bar upstairs. The service wasn't great, we had to go find menus off another table, and then my husband went up to get a waitress, and when we finally got service the woman seemed more concerned with her outfit. BUT the food was amazing!
Are this place for Sunday lunch, we got there right before the Sunday lunch crowd. We sat on the deck, which was covered. Such great scenery! We ordered the Boudin balls, which were mediocre (I have had better). We also had the shrimp and grits; not your typical shrimp and grits, more like a shrimp and sausage soup with fried grit croquettes, which were different and delicious. Also had the shrimp basket and royal red boil. Both were huge portions and very fresh. Server was attentive and personable. Would recommend this as a must try of Biloxi! Looking forward to my next visit!
Fun atmosphere, great food & great service. The music from the parking lot (3rd floor Sky Bar) was a bit off putting as I was looking forward to a quiet meal. However, the music carries to the parking lot but my dining experience was wonderful w/ the music not loud at all from the 2nd outdoor patio. I highly recommend. Much better than the overpriced tourist trap next door.
Had lunch on 06/03/15. Had Shrimp po-boys, very good, the best fries I had in a long time. Love the atmosphere, wife and I set outside, great view. Service was very good. Can't wait till go back and try dinner.
Visiting From Illinois. Located next to the hotel we were staying at, we thought we would try on our first night in Biloxi. Dining area has very high ceilings, which helps the amplification of any conversation. We found it to be very noisey. Our server was effieicent , if not a little too over-zealous. The food was good, but we found it to be overpriced. This is a relatively new restaurant and I believe they're catering to the younger 30 and under crowd, which is OK, but I think we'll let them have it and find another place more quieter and with prices more in line with what you get.
Good meal, great waiter and nice view!. Four of us ate mid-afternoon January 31, 2015. Whole fried flounder cooked to perfection, two orders of the "Crabby Trout," grilled and a Big Kahuna Burger, Martini's for the ladies, Blue Moon and Fat Tire Ale for the guys. The waiter was great, knew the menu and was on top of things. Many have complained about the noise level, but that didn't bother us, Rob Stinson and his group have another winner on their hands. We'll definitely return to try other menu items.
More of the same. I like to give a restaurant at least two visits before I give a review and that's to be fair. I am just going to say it " nothing special ". You've got three and soon to be four beach front restaurants that are very similar. The only thing that would set them apart is what is on their menu. The Reef is not much different from Shaggy's. Shaggy's however does not serve Boudin Balls and The Reef can't touch the crabcakes at Shaggy's. The Reef does have an excellent sunset view from the Sky Bar. But when I go out to eat I am looking for something AWESOME to eat. We ordered the Grilled Oysters Trio, The Boudin Balls and the Tuna Dip to start off. First thing..where are the oysters? For the price I would have expected the size of the oysters to be bigger than a quarter. They were tasty enough. The Boudin Balls were very good and so was the Tuna Dip. They make their own chips which is a plus. The price for both of these appetizers was fair. On the first visit here we ordered the Ahi Tuna and the Seafood Platter. Both if those were average in taste and about right with the price. If your looking for a great view, good food ( not great ) and can overlook the noisy dining inside then you'll be happy. Now...having said that, I love love love Rob and Salutes'! I do hope he will sneak some of his great dishes in The Reef's menu because that is what will set it apart from the others.
Early dinner...great service. My wife and I stopped by to check out the new restaurant out daughther told us about. She wasn't kidding when she told us how awesome it was. Allan took great care of us on the beautiful 3rd floor. And the red headed, female bartender down stairs helped us with our to-go order and was so polite with everything...will definitely be back!
great experience! food quality and overall experience and the price are beyond our expectation! not to mention it has such great view even on a bad weather day!
the restaurant has its patio covered up with heavy film which isolated the outdoor dining hall from heavy rain and wind, along with the heater on roof make the environment very cozy. Todd was our server, very nice guy with great services!
Absolutely delicious!!! I find they had a little too much black pepper in the sauce on the crawfish bread but that's just a preference issue not a restaurant issue. We really enjoyed our meal and the atmosphere. We ordered way too much food so we have leftovers for a couple more meals. As the cook in the house, that doesn't seem so bad to me!!! LOL
Working from out of state... I was planning on going back to Fat Bottom BBQ, but stopped to take a picture of the mural on the side of the building.
Awesome visiting, Josh was very cool and friendly as were the rest of the staff. He just stood out because he engaged me in conversation.
Had the bowl of gumbo as an appetizers... it was okay and had better. Main entrée was the Bang Bang shrimp paste. It was loaded with shrimp. I had to scoop the shrimp aside to get to the paste, which was rich and creamy. All in all the dish was pretty darn good.
Beer selection was also great, especially with local craft beer.
It's been a long time since I've been to a restaurant that had a wait. This one was totally worth it. My party elected to wait upstairs in the sky bar where we had drinks and enjoyed the view until we got a text message that our table was ready.
We got our outside table within about thirty minutes. Our server, Sebastian, did a perfect job throughout the experience. That seems like a weird thing to say, but it's the best way I can describe it. He consistently showed up to the table the moment before he was needed with the exact right items or information. It was seamless.
And this food! I wanted something I hadn't tried before, so I got the bacon wrapped pork filets. Pork is not usually my favorite... Until now, I mean. This pork was sincerely divine. May your every dining experience be this magical.
Very good apps and seafood. Absolutely no complaints. Arrived around 4:15pm on a Saturday in July and was told it would be a 30 minute wait. Was seated, with drinks in 20 minutes! Loved the service and the food!
Dinner at the Reef was fantastic! Flounder and chips with a crab cake. The Flounder was battered and cooked to perfection. Fell apart in your mouth. Fries were seasoned and crispy. The lemons were nice and juicy. The crab cakes were one of the best ones I’ve had in this region. The shrimp cocktail sauce was flavorful as well. The staff was friendly and welcoming.
A dinner WINNER! So the hubby was craving a shrimp poboy & I was up for something tasty so we decided on the Reef. The atmosphere was pretty chill this Tuesday. The firecracker shrimp app was great, his poboy was 5 star & I ordered the shrimp & grits. Definitely different than any way I’d had it before & I loved it! The staff was calm, attentive, & above all else respectful to not bother me mid bite lol. Thank y’all for providing excellence service, a bomb a$$ meal & allowing us to eat in peace. Most definitely recommend!
