Had their cheeseburger, and added some pepper jack cheese, jalapeños, and bacon jam. I should also mention that it was real cheese and not some glob of processed crap. I was also told that their beef is ground in house. Everything on it was very fresh and flavorful. Servers were very attentive and helpful. Ashley did a wonderful job taking care of us. From walking in the door till it was time to leave, it was a very enjoyable experience. I will definitely be back the next time I am in town.
It was just a gleam in the founder’s eye – to turn an old bait shack in Pass Christian, MS into a food and beer joint. Hurricane Katrina put his plans on hold for awhile, as it did all of us who lived in the area. But, as he said “sometime later the sun starting shining again and it was time to get to work.”

A few friends and I went one evening and the atmosphere is great, it was so much fun, the food and drinks were so good, it was a very busy place, lots of people, but the wait was not long at all, our server April was great, always made sure we had everything we needed!
Wow! Location, Location, Location! The atmosphere of this place is amazing not to mention the serviced we received while dining. Our bartender April was so friendly and even sat down with us to give us directions. The food was well priced and the servings were very large!

Shaggys always has the best food and greatest service! My husband and I enjoyed our meal with the pleasure of having Ariel as our server! I normally don't write reviews but I am a very indecisive person and questioned nearly every item on the menu, which I guess you could say makes me a complicated guest! But She was very informative, friendly, and patient with me! If only I could find more restaurants with such friendly service like hers! Not to mention the view was to die for, as always! And my meal was perfect!!! Thumbs up in my book!
The Nachos were good. Could of used less lettuce and just a little more meat which I had the chicken nachos. But overall? It was great. And the view is amazing. The right angle as the sun went down. I will be back to try more food there! A+
What's not to love . Breathtaking sunsets, Wonderful food and Amazing service. Its such an inviting atmosphere .Its really busy but its handled well. The AHI tuna was very good with a special soy sauce on it . I prefer to have it without the Wasbi Mayo but the Tuna is great. I also enjoyed the crab cakes.

My family and I dined here over the busy weekend. Shaggys is hands down the best place to dine on the beach . The frozen drinks are scrumptious. I had the seafood platter and raw oysters . Food was pretty great. The four of us enjoyed both our drinks and our meals. Sadie was a great waitress! I had the cheesy pig and a Relaxer to eat and drink and loved it. My boyfriend had a fish sandwich which had a great serving size. I'll be back when we visit town again.
My family and I had never been to Shaggys so we decided to give it a try. Our waitress was Samantha and she was awesome, we never had to ask for refills on our drinks. The food was great. All in all it was a great experience. We will be coming back again soon.
Stopped by with my family for lunch this afternoon. Was immediately welcomed by several of the employees upon walking in the door. Not only was the food amazing but the staff was the best I've ever seen. I couldn't believe how happy and upbeat all the staff seemed to be. Not to mention, the manger came by and checked up on all the tables. We will definitely be back the next time we come through Biloxi.
I really enjoyed dining at Shaggys . It was laid back with the windows open so you could feel the cool breeze . My waitress was polite and informative . She recommended dishes that were unheard of . The deep fried pull pork was out of the ordinary . The menu has a large variety of items to choose from . Only complaint is Shaggy did not make his appearance . Maybe next time . . This is my first review to write . I don't normally engage in this type of activity but my server Bronwyn was adamant that I let others know what a wonderful time I had . I am new to the area and it's hard to find a spot were they have something for both adults and children . I have found my hangout spot for the summer . Thanks Bronwyn for the service and Shaggys for having such upbeat and happy employees .
We found shaggys from its wonderful reviews and they did not disappoint . The food was astounding , The stacker is a must . I'm not sure what the secret sauce is exactly it makes for a perfect combination . The crab cakes were loaded with crab and the portion sizes are adequate for the amount . The atmosphere was relaxing and mellowed out . It's like a little twist of southern hospitality mixed in with a Mississippi slang that made for wonderful service. Our server Iris was a doll.
The food wasn't bad at all. It wasn't the best Or anything really special, but it was good enough. My friends and I had (collectively) the Dirty Shag, Steak Quesidillas, and the Gumbo/ side of jalapeño hush puppies. I did think the hush puppies were worth the try! Gumbo was not as fresh as some other places that I've had.
Overall, the selling point was the atmosphere. The weather was absolutely gorgeous, so we sat outside on the deck. The view and the fresh air made the experience/food much better! Plus I had my lab/shep pup with me :).
The drinks, however, are wonderful. If you are looking for some fresh, delicious seafood, then don't come here expecting that (it's Biloxi, there are PLENTY of other restaurants). I would definitely suggest coming for some appetizers and drinks on the deck though! Very chill.
This was truly one of the best meals my family and I have had!!! Our waitress, Christyn, was so helpful and explained the menu and special fantastically. I have a very bad wheat allergy, and offering a gluten free menu, a FULL sheet gluten free menu, excited me to no end, and I've had no reaction to the Bahama Grill with the Mahi Mahi. I felt completely safe eating here, so if you have an allergy or celiac, I would HIGHLY recommend this for you! My stepdad said the Bloody Mary's were fantastic, and Christyn was so helpful with questions about drinks or food!! Five star experience, five star food! This place has a great view of the beach and water. I met up with some friends and the food was good. I had the grilled mahi mahi on a bed of coconut rice and a frozen alcoholic beverage. The server we had was very sweet but just a little loopy and not really knowledgeable of the menu. Don't expect air conditioning in the sweltering Biloxi heat with indices over 100. All the windows and doors are wide open. I love the air coming off the water, but man it was HOT. It would be nice not to sweat all over the place while eating an almost $30 lunch when the heat index is 105.

Great Every Time. My wife and I have eaten at Shaggy's several times. Every time we have been there we could not ask for better food or service. We have requested that Brook be the one to serve us because she has proven to be very interested and knowledgable in her recommendations. She is very friendly and interested in us as customers. The food has been amazing, from the char grilled oysters to the cheeseburgers. Every thing that we have ordered has been spot on. No disappointments. We would recommend this restaurant to anyone. If you go, ask for Brook to be your server. You will not be sorry.

Fun. The staff was excellent. Everything we ordered was good. Pickles, oysters, fried catfish, etc. Good place to go drinking and also a good spot for the entire family to go out for a meal. The kids played on the beach and had a blast. I definitely recommend it.

Worth the wait!. I took the family to Shaggy's a few days ago for lunch, and I have to say at first I was not impressed. We had to wait a little longer than I expected to be seated. Kacie was our server, and she was great though. She recommended the tuna bites and they were out of this world! The main course was well-proportioned and fairly priced. My wife and I ejoyed the fish of the day and still had some left over to bring home. The boys had chicken tenders from the kids menu. Aside from our wait at first, service was great, and the kids just loved Kacie. If you like fresh air and tasty seafood, then Shaggy's is for you. We will return in the near future.
Tammy our server/bartender was great. Sat at bar and had eggplant with shrimp/crawfish cream sauce was very good. Shaggy fish Poboy was great. Grilled fish perfectly and spice/sauce was excellent. Nice beachy atmosphere.
Great Service and Delicious Food. Traveling from Florida to Texas, we decided to stop at Shaggy's for dinner. Kind of wary as we approached the building, parking lot a little dark, but don't let looks fool you. From the hostess, to the end of our meal chat with the manager this place absolutely is one you shouldn't miss. Our drinks, food and service were all top notch. Best seafood we have had in the last week. Everything delivered to our table in a timely manner, hot food was still hot, (a big issue with me). The jalapeño hush puppies are perfect Thank you Shaggy's staff and especially our great waitress Ashlei.
P.S. If ever traveling through Biloxi will definitely stop here again.

What an absolutely fun restaurant! The atmosphere makes you feel like you are somewhere in the Caribbean ! The shaggy stacker appetizer is amazing! August is Too Hot!. Shaggy's is a Key West style place- open with ceiling fans. It has Gulf views and depends on Gulf breezes to cool the place. August in Mississippi pushes that just a little too far. It was too hot to comfortably eat in there yesterday.
The food was great, the atmosphere superb and the service responsive and polite. All in all it is definitely an A list establishment.
In the hot blazing Mississippi summer, you need to dress for the beach to eat here during the day.
Should be just about perfect at night.

Wonderful!!. My family & I went to try out Shaggys. I am so glad we did!! The atmosphere was fun and staff were very friendly and we felt welcomed the minute we walked in. Our server was absolutely wonderful!! I also have worked in customer service for many years, I have a high expectations from servers. Christyn was our server, she quickly greeted us with a big smile and welcome! She was great helping my children pick out their meals and offered suggestions... I really love having such great service! We never had to ask for anything. My husband & I had catfish poboys which were amazing, I haven't had such delicious catfish in a long time, since I was usually disappointed I gave up on that fish for years. Im so excited Christyn suggested we give shaggys fish a try! I will definitely be back and will definitely ask for her!! Erin and Jessica are the best bar tenders on the entire Gulf Coast. No seriously, we always travel to Destin, Florida, so we can enjoy the prestige beaches and water; however, when we are home, Shaggy's brings Destin to us. The atmosphere, the food, and the staff are second to none. This is the closest you are going to come to being in paradise on the Gulf Coast.
Fun place, good food, wonderful people!. Shaggy's was recommended to us and it was close by, so we went for an early dinner. Our waitress was "Reva Levins", a delightful, polite yet personable young lady. I told her I wanted her for a daughter in law! Unique atmosphere, great to sit and look at the Gulf; would have eaten outside on the patio if it had not been raining!

Such a great place to go!. My parents snowbird down here and they swear by this place. I finally joined them down here for a week, and the first place we ate was Shaggy's. We were greeted by Stephen the manager, and given honestly some of the best service I've had in a while. So courteous and welcoming.
A few specific shout-outs:
Becca- Our waitress on the first night. Always attentive even if the place was hoppin'! Had good knowledge of the plates and steered my sister well (she didn't like oysters until she had them the second time).
Dee- Handled us well the second time, even surprising me with a mixed drink that looked green but tasted nice and tropical.
The Oysters- I cannot recommend these more. I had three of the four ways they serve them, and their Rockefeller Oysters rocked my socks!
Hope to come down here again and eat at Shaggy's!
A Very Night Evening and Meal. Quick note, we had a most enjoyable meal tonight at Shaggy's in Biloxi Beach. We were served by a darling waitress named "Jersey" and a server-assistant named "Germaine". Both were a true pleasure and very warm and full of smiles.
I ate a "Shaggy Burger" (Very Tastee). My wife enjoyed the "Fish of the Day" which was an excellent piece of Grouper.
We talked with "Ava", the Assistant Manager and told her the on a "1 to 10" scale, Shaggy's hit a "15" with us. Very good food and very fast service with a pleasent attitude. Pricing was good. We will come back to eat here when ever we come to Biloxi to visit and reccommend it to our friends and family.
Good not great. I loved the atmosphere of this place! The food was good; but nothing that was too special about it. The fried fish, however was very good!
Loved this place... The food was amazing especially the Stacker. Nate was our server and he was the best server we had on our trip to Biloxi. The place was busy but with the quickness of our appetizer and the top notch service we didn't mind the wait. We will come back and recommend this place to everyone.

Fun times!. My hubby and I were in Biloxi for the weekend and someone recommended Shaggy's. We're so glad we went. The food was good and not too pricey. Our server, Liz, was warm and friendly, and very attentive. The only negative part of the experience was my meal... I ordered the fish sandwich, which was supposed to come with a remoulade sauce on the side (according to the menu description), but didn't. Also, the plate was very carelessly thrown together. The flavor of the sandwich was very good, however, so the food presentation wasn't as big a deal to me. Liz was a sweetie and brought us a piece of key lime pie to split, on the house, to make up for the missing sauce and to congratulate me on my pregnancy. Very good pie. And a very good experience overall. My hubby's food was perfectly cooked to order, presented well, and tasty. We would definitely eat here again.
This was my first time in Mississippi, first time at Shaggy's. I couldn't have asked for a better place to eat at! We got the sweetest server and the food was perfect! Hope I get to come here again and just incase, I got a shirt :)

Much More Than I Expected. Driving up to Shaggy's I expected more of the same old burgers and fries with probably some fried shrimp. BIG surprise. We had fried green tomatoes with crab and crawfish (Excellent), oysters on the half shell (good but could have been colder,) and fried eggplant with shrimp and peppers (Really excellent.) Not what I expected to see on the menu, to put it mildly. Better than the food was the service. Becca did a terrific job and stood out even among this crew. We'll certainly go back soon. And when we do we'll ask for Becca again.

Best Bartender on the Coast. I recently had the privilege of coming to check out Shaggys in Biloxi,ms & was amazed of the upbeat professional bartending skill of Mr.Carey! I first sat down & before I knew it Mr.Carey was asking me what I would like & delivered the daily food & drink specials. He then (upon my request) offered what he recommends & not only was the recommendation perfect but the cocktails durring & following were absolutely refreshing. I have been to many restaurants,Taverns,eateries,& franchised establishments & have had great,good,& poor service. Mr.Carey not only was the best but has set the bar experience to the highest level! Excellent Service,Excellent information,Excellent conversation,& Excellent experience!!
Shocking Service. Unfortunately I could not share this last night due to technical difficulties but...Last night I went to Shaggy's in Biloxi. After a craptacular week and an astonishingly stupid weekend I finially had a great night! The food was good...Spinach Queso Dip, Fried Eggplant with a great shrimp cream sauce! The poboy was some great comfort food that I needed. Above all Liz, our server, was the one who put me in a great mood. Pleasant, funny, timely, on top of the game! 5 stars to Liz, thanks Blondie!

Excellent! You won't be disappointed!. The food is wonderful, and the staff are very accommodating. We had the fried green tomatoes with the crab meat and cream sauce drizzled on top for starters. Perfection! We also ordered a pound of the crawdads, and they were awesome. Easy to peel, a little sweet, and not to spicy. Suck the head and pinch the tail. My first of the season! Yum! Blackened redfish was the catch of the day, and I believe they caught it that morning. Talk about fresh! It was accompanied with mashed potatoes, and french bread. I enjoyed every bite. My wife went the appetizer route and ordered the crawfish nachos. She loved it! It was a very fresh and very big appetizer. I had never heard of this appetizer, but we are glad we stumbled upon it. Try it! Liz was our server, and she took very good care of us. Everyone working there had a smile on their face, that was true and genuine. If you want great food, great service, and an overall great experience. I highly recommend giving Shaggy's your business. You will leave full and happy! Hope you enjoy!
My elderly mother and I enjoyed lunch here today for the first time and we are life long biloxians . We had heard good things around town and had to try it for our selves Becc was our server she was very attentitive and nice She recommended the coronorita which was wonderful. We were approached shortly after by a manager Eva who recommended the green tomatoes which where also delicious. Everything was wonderful Becc And Eva are truly an assett to this company My 78 yr old mother told Eva " I don't know what makes you so pretty, your eyes or your hair or sweet personality.but we will definently be back to try more of this delicious food and beautiful atmosphere . Not bad at all!. Pleasantly surprised! Took my parents to lunch and the place was packed. We ended up sitting at the bar and I have to say it was very pleasant. The bartenders were very attentive and friendly. Mom ordered the shrimp Caesar salad and the shrimp were seasoned perfectly. Dad had the friend shrimp basket and it was overflowing. I ordered the chicken Caesar, chicken was very tender, the lettuce was fresh and crisp and they didn’t drown it in dressing! We will be going back for sure! Two thumbs up

My daughter is deathly allergic to eggs and usually I receive ugly looks and attitudes of inconvenience,but Liz was more than exceptional. She took the time and effort to inquire about various dishes my daughter was interested in eating and let us know which ones contained eggs or items containing eggs. Liz was and is by far the best waitress I've ever had during a dining experience. More people could learn from her wonderful attitude and helpfulness.

Today I brought my nephew to eat there it was my second time and his first, our waitress Liz was the best server I've had anywhere. She was very nice and even went the extra mile and made my nephew a milder bbq sauce. I will definitely be back! Also, we will ask for her to be our server! The food was amazing! We are visiting our son who's at Keesler AFB. We decided on seafood for our meal tonight, and we were all very pleased. YUM!! My husband had the seafood pasta, I had the surf 'n turf, our son had the oysters parmesan, and our daughter had a grilled cheese. Our waiter Joel was great. We will definitely go back if we visit again at Easter!!

Had fried green tomatoes with crab meat, blackened swordfish with fresh vegetables and oysters on the half shell. The shuckers did an excellent job as the oysters were some of the cleanest I've ever had and were fabulous! The swordfish was excellent. Ask for Michael. I have heard about how great this place was but tonight was my first visit. sat on a deck on the beach, our server was. michaeland I think I should adopt him...he is precious. michael talked me into ordering swordfish...OMG...it was fabulous. I also ordered a dozen oysters on the half shell and whoever the shucker was deserves an award for cleanest . oysters. I didn't get one piece of shell. this is now my favorite restaurant on the coast. well played shaggys...well played!

AWESOME EXPERIENCE. This past Saturday my wife and I decided to try a new place we had never visited before. My sister and brother-in-law told us about Shaggy's in Biloxi. They went there the weekend before and loved it. We are native to the coast, but had never been. We arrived about 7:00 p.m. and the hostess let us know there was about a 45 minute wait for a table outside on the deck. After a look around we could tell right away it would be worth the wait, so we had a drink from the outside bar while we waited. We met a couple of out-of-towners who were visiting from Oklahoma. The drinks we had were awesome, and before we knew it 45 minutes flew by. A bridal party was ahead of us on the list, and needed an extra table so we let them have ours to add to theirs to seat all of their party. After a few minutes 2 managers brought us a table from the inside seating area so we could order our food and watch the beautiful Mississippi sunset. They gave us a complimentary drink and took our order. We wanted the smoked wahoo dip for sure, and some type of oysters. It was suggested we try a dozen of their Oyster Rockefeller. My wife was apprehensive at first because at most places when you order Oyster Rockefeller the spinach topping takes precidence over the oyster. He assured her these were different, so we agreed to give them a shot. First of all the smoked wahoo dip was out of thid world good! Then the oysters came, and we should have ordered 2 dozen instead of 1 because my wife couldn't stop eating them. She said they were the best she had ever eaten. Although we had to wait for a table, it was still an awesome experience. Everything from the staff, the managers, the food, the atmosphere, the view, the sunset...everything was awesome. I would definitely recommend Shaggy's to everyone whether they are locals or not. Thanks for an awesome Saturday night!

Ate there last night on the referral of a friend. It was fantastic! The kids played on the beach while we waited for a table, the service was great and the food was awesome! Recommend the crab cakes and eggplant dish! Misty was our server and not only was she cute, but also very intelligent, spot on with what she recommended, highly energetic, and great with the kids! She got our orders out quickly, checked on us, and generally was happy to be there! It was a pleasure and we'll be back!

There was a server in the bar area named Brian. He was very personable to everyone. Always speaking and checking on you and others that were not his customer. Others could learn from him. We really enjoyed the restaurant and more so because of him.Great job to Brian.

Awesome!. We ate at the Pass Christian location and loved every bit of the experience. The atmosphere, the food, the location everything! We had cheese fries and Jerk Shrimp...delicious. Kept the sauce that was left on e jerk shrimp plate to dip bread with. Four of us got ribeyes...super tender and cooked perfectly and the grilled asparagus was amazing. One got the blackened chicken Alfredo and it was super. Not your ordinary Alfredo and it was the best I have eaten. Be warned, salads do not come with entrees but can be purchased seperately for an extra 5.00 each. Not sure I agree with it being in the modest pricing. Our party of five was 200.00 but WELL worth the money and definetly will be back. Wait staff were friendly enough and did a good job but were way too serious for us fun people.
My husband and I love this place! We've been in town two days and have been here both days. They are his "favorite fries on the planet!" Great atmosphere with a beautiful view of the beach. I've had the seafood pasta and the red fish special. The food was incredible including the sides. We were really impressed with the staff. We celebrated our anniversary here and it wasn't a disappointment. We highly recommend it!

Definitely a Winner!. We ate at Shaggy's while on vacation to Biloxi. Great beach-bar vibe, overlooking the boat docks, but a place I didn't mind taking the whole family. My wife and I had the seared Tuna Bites for an appetizer and they were spectacular. For an entree, my wife had the fried shrimp, and I had the BBQ shrimp. Both were delicious. But the big surprise were the mashed potatoes!!! I would go back simply for the potatoes!
Second chance.... Tried Shaggy's for the first time about 4 months ago. It was awful! Decided to give them another chance this visit because someone recommended ya'll because of a new bartender. Went in Friday, June 8, 2012 and sat at the main bar. Our bartender, Brandon, was fantastic! We had the best time with him. He was very courteous and made sure we were well taken care of.
We came back Saturday, June, 9, 2012 and found him on the patio. We made sure that is where we were! As long as Brandon is working for your company, we will be there EVERY trip to the coast, and we make a minimum of 8 per year. He is a definite asset to your company, and I will tell everyone I know to make a visit to Shaggy's a priority!
Great Place *MUST VISIT*!!!!. We ate here 2 weeks ago. The service is great! The food is great! Great atmosphere. We had BBQ shrimp and Jerked Shrimp for appetizer, kids had shrimp plates, came on frisbies, which they loved. Our server was attentive and friendly. Manager came by not once but twice to check on us. I give this place an A+++++++++++++ Our little Blonde server was friendly as can be. The manager was very professional as well. All the servers looked to be having fun. Our server knew how to explain just about everything on the menu, so we knew exactly what we were ordering. A small wait, as they were busy, but well worth it, and we were able to wait o n the back deck and enjoy the breeze and waves along with drinks until our table was ready.
Best resturant I have visited on the Gulf!.... we ordered the broiled oyters and shrimp po boy sandwich. Oyters were fresh and the breading on the shrimp was perfect! The roumalade sauce was great! ......also had the white peach margarita and it was amazing! Cant wait to go back! Two thumbs up!
Shaggy's Biloxi!! Great Fun Time and Pet Friendly Too!. Found Shaggy's a few weeks ago. We have been going ever since! Great food and if your fur kid is well behaved and leashed, they are pet friendly as well (eat outside on the deck) which is so progressive for the Mississippi Gulf Coast!! The restaurant is very cool. You would think you are eating somewhere in the Florida Keys!
The entire staff is great. We always ask for Misty B (524) to be our server as she is just the best and a real gem! She always takes great care of us and our "fur kid" when we dine there. She deserves a big round of applause as she loves her job and really cares about her customers!
Oh, don't miss the Fried Green Tomatoes (with crab meat)! Yum!!! Misty suggested them the first time we ate there and we have been hooked ever since.

Great Experience. This is the type of place I picture when I think of going to the beach. The food, drink and staff where all great and I had a great time during my visit to Biloxi. If you are looking for a fun place to hang out for some coctails and food give it a try. I also very much like how the manager seemed to take an interest in every table and really seemed to care that everyone was having a great experience.
I will go back on future visits.
I am from out of town, and ate here with a friend on Saturday night. The wait wasn't bad at all for two, especially considering that we could wait on the deck overlooking the beach! The restaraunt was all open to the outside, which felt wonderful because it was a gorgeous evening. All the servers seemed fun and nice, and the manager came by to check on us and recommend dishes for our next visit. I got the seafood pasta, and it was very good! The shrimp and crab were tasty, the sauce was delicious, and the bell peppers were a great touch. Overall it was a great dinner experience!

We went when we were in biloxi for the weekend. Great location, friendly staff. I had a salad that wasn't great, but my husband had the tuna & seaweed which was delicious. We'll try it again, I just get something different.
Great atmosphere but the food took over 30 mins to come out. Once we finally got it, it was really good. My only complaint is the kids chicken renders were too spicy for my 3 yr old to eat.
I LOVE SHAGGY'S. I went there for my first time the other day, and i absolutely loved it!! The people were so friendly, and the service was delightful and speedy. The atmosphere was so relaxed and chill, and the manager even came around to make sure everything was to our liking. They also had the best seafood pasta I've ever eaten in my life!! Liked it.. Had Crawfish special myself! 3lbs of boiled crawfish came with potatoes, mushrooms and corn for $12! Steal deal! Others in my party had the special of the day blackend fish special which was good and shrimp poboy. Only thing that could havre been better was there weren't a whole lot of shrimp on the poboy but the flavor was good. The atmosphere was good....fire burning, bar like atmosphere but not extremely loud. Friendly for both family or a date night out. I would go back!

I have never been here before, but being that it's on then gulf and that I heard they had really good seafood. I was dissapointed to find that they had italian food and music.....really get rid of the music. Food I had was not Italian but seafood and it was good. Our server, Randi, was awesome. Seriously though if I want Italian I would seek other place, ditch the music.

Great Food from Lively Lori. Locally owned Shaggy's drew me in by word of mouth from locals I trust. I had the Jerked Shrimp appetizer, which was wonderful, but a little too spicy for me (Duh! It is clearly labeled spicy.) So, my wonderful server Lori brought me extra lemon & lime wedges and an alternate sauce. Scrumptous!
Lori was warm and friendly and attentive and was there when I needed her but let me enjoy the peace of the beautiful views and lively music, too. Just as I was finishing, the Saints game came on and the crowd and wait staff were cheering our guys. Wish I could have stayed.
The prices were very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food provided. For me, there is nothing better than fresh Gulf seafood prepared by folks who know how. Shaggy's fills the bill and is my new favorite resturant.
Fabulous. The sunset was breathtaking. The atmosphere was great. The Peach margarita's are wonderful. We chose Shaggy's b/c of a picture we saw on facebook of the oysters. When we arrived we were greeted by a waitress Kayla. In our opinion a waitress can make or break a restaurant. If I do not get good service I do not go back no matter how good the food. The oysters we saw were a special not offered all the time. When we asked Kayla about them she did not hesitate to say she would ask if they could make them especially for us. A few minutes later Stephen Threadgill came out and not only said he could make us a special but if we would like he could add an additional type. The oysters were all amazing!! Even better than we envisioned. The special treatment we received will keep us going back!! Thank you Kayla and Stephen!

Shaggy's Biloxi. We had the Charboiled Oysters and they were wonderful. We also had the Fried Green Tomato appetizer and it was also great. The beach view was amazing and we sat by the windows which were open and we enjoyed the Gulf breeze. What topped the experience is our waitress Kayla who was amazing. She was so attentive and full of personality. It was my birthday and she made me feel so special and made sure we had an enjoyable experience. Great customer service!!!

We had the best server, Kayla. She was cheerful, did a great job in describing the menu to us newbies, and served us just right. We had the pulled pork sandwich and the grilled fish sandwich. Both were great. Recommended. Don't forget the sweet potatoes fries!

Kayla rocked. Food was delicious, beach location and beautiful sunset were awesome. Tuna bites were great as was the fish sandwich. Busy on Tuesday night, guessing weekends are really crowded. Our waitress Kayla was great.

Delicious Tuna Bites!!. Visited Shaggy's for the 1st time during Cruisin the Coast-had a great time there and the food was delicious. Waitresses were great and had personality. May be a little pricey but quality is worth it. I drove 2 1/2 hrs back down there today to get the tuna bites. Great view of the gulf.
Excellentfood and service. We visited Shaggy's on a recent trip to BIloxi. Had a great meal and service. Christy was our server. She kept our drinks refilled, dishes clear and attended to our every request. We would recommend Shaggy's to anyone wanting a nice meal with an ocean view.

Another Big Hit. Went out to Shaggy's Biloxi to try the new restaurant. AWESOME! I am a sucker for a burger, fries and beer. The food was hot and fresh. The waitress was amazing. The kids had a great time and we even walked on the beach after lunch. They have an amazing location on the beach in Biloxi!

Fantastic location, lots of good food and fun. This brand new Shaggy's on Biloxi beach was wonderful on Wednesday, 8/10/11. Located on the beach with gentle breezes from the Gulf as you look out on the open water. Plus, the sun sets just to the west of the outside deck - a truly beautiful sight. The food is standard beachfront fare with fried shrimp and burgers. It was certainly acceptable given what you get in return, i.e. the best location on Biloxi beach. Would I recommend this place? Yes. Would I go again? Most definitely.

New Addition to the Coast. It's probably a bit too early to write much of a review on the Biloxi edition of Shaggy's, but it is open and it is PACKED with no advertising at all. No menus are available, they have only about 8-9 items that they're serving. But the service is pretty good, and I'm sure the menu will grow as they get settled in.
We were a little put off by the pricing, but the beach location pretty well makes up for that. $8 is the cheapest item offered so far, with the cheeseburger at $10, some salad or dip choices at $10-12, and a shrimp plate at $16. We got the shrimp, and they were off good size, and cooked very well, had a really nice taste to them. But at $16 we got probably about 12 shrimp, and a handful of frozen shoestring potatoes . . . my wife and I shared, and it worked out to be a nice appetizer I guess, but I would not have been pleased if I'd ordered it as a meal and that was all I got.
But...and this is a big but...the location and design is what counts...right on the beach, looking out at the sand and the water, with even the inside seating having wide-open windows and just a really nice beach feel to it. Much better than their Pass Christian location, which is in the harbor surrounded by boast, and much better than the nearby Snapper's which has a minimal outside dining area and really wastes it's beach location.
Also, the drink prices were reasonable, both beer and mixed drinks, but couldn't ya do better than using little plastic go-cups?
Decent experience overall. We came on a Friday and the wait was 1 hour, 40 minutes (for a first available table at that - we were seated inside). The bright side is that you can join the waiting list from their website, so you can hangout nearby (beach, casinos, etc). The overall vibe is awesome — the views can’t be beat, and it’s just a cute restaurant overall. The shrimp was amazing, but my steak came out closer to medium rare inside when I asked for it medium well. Servers were quick and friendly though. Would consider returning if we are ever through town again!
Went here for dinner while in town. Food was PHENOMENAL. Service was unbeatable. Loved the atmosphere. Manager was absolutely the best. Going back for dinner tonight before we leave. Try the crab and corn bisque and the burgers. You won’t regret!
My family of five went here based on the amazing reviews on the service because that is hard to find. Our service was okay but not great. We didn’t see our server for refills until we were finished eating. She did mention she had a part of 15 though so I think they cater to the bigger groups first due to getting a higher tip. Food was better than the service though and I give it five stars! It came out quickly after we ordered and the portions were large. The shrimp sampler was delicious and big enough for my 18 year old daughter and myself to share. The burgers were cooked medium perfectly and were huge. We would probably eat here again and request one of the servers mentioned in the other reviews. Overall good experience!
Our food and drinks were delicious and the view was unbeatable! Kacie was our server and she was AMAZING!! She was so sweet, had great recommendations and took phenomenal care of us. They’re lucky to have her!
What an experience!! Of all the places on the Coast, this has to be the best! From the friendly, courteous staff, to the delicious food, to the great atmosphere, this is most definitely THE PLACE TO BE!! We enjoyed an all-around great experience here! From our greeting at the front, to a pit stop in the very clean restrooms, the delicious food, and of course the excellent way that our server Rae-Rae took care of us! It was our first time here and y’all made a wonderful impression on us! We will definitely be back. Thank you!
What a great experience! You can tell that they know the definition of great customer service! Monday night is a slow night so no wait time. We’re arrived at 9:10 pm. Place closes at 10pm. Started with an appetizer avocado sliced in half stuffed with tuna and a special made sauce! Sooooo goodddd!!! If you love healthy choices- this is it! We got grits with shrimp, chicken Alfredo and coconut rice with grilled fish. Everything tasted great! I would recommend to use a little extra seasoning on a fish( it tasted a little plain). Our waiter was Blake and he was awesome with my son! He made sure to check on us regularly. He was very friendly and easy going. Definitely a great asset to this team! Will definitely come back here again!
Awesome place to go eat. Ryan was an amazing server. The food was to die for, highly recommend the Seafood Mac and Cheese. The staff made my wife's birthday an awesome one. Will definitely eat here again next time we're down from Missouri.
