Favorite place to go! Friendly bartenders, quick service, low prices and most often seats available. If you're Irish, it's even more fun. Nice mixed clientele!
A dive in the best possible way. Just what you want from a local bar. Cold beer, a shot of whiskey, a great burger, and a jukebox in the background. This is the kind of place you can just get lost at, not pretentious, with all kinds of interesting people. Definitely worth a visit.
I was there late mid-afternoon. Nice atmosphere, quiet, few folks at the bar. A few folks eating. Great service, our food came quickly and was hot and delicious. I would certainly recommend the Reuben!
The trailer park, all Irish American type service was acceptable and marginally creative. The walls wreaked of alcohol but they apparently served free Thanksgiving dinners, make all the the art work wear masks and had a library box creatively placed in front of it.
Classic Irish dive... Dark, lively, a touch sticky. It's awesome.
All I can say is I have some of the most awesome memories of experiences at the Bel. Special guests on open mic nights, badass bartenders, KILLER food and drinks and the people....I met some of the coolest people in my life at this bar. And I still go back to experience just BEING in this bar. The B
