Tastes pretty good but 1 star off because the price is not worth it, plus I could barely see or taste any “salted egg yolk” (I do know what it looks like, it might have been ground and blended and colored with the soy sauce but I don’t taste it either). It was nice to try it out but next time I’m getting something different. I’m still going back simply because this is the closest to Dim Sum I can get in this area lol. SF and Chi do better jobs but hey it’s a tiny college town here, gotta adjust my expectations accordingly. But for glutinous rick cake, I’m definitely spending my money next time in Oasis. Frozen ones cooked correct, you can’t tell the difference.

Good dumplings, though you definitely want to order more than one serving for a solid meal. That said, the servings are cheap so buying multiple is made worthwhile. It seems like most of their business is take-out, though, so don’t get turned off by people not sitting in during lunchtime. Good food, quick service, quality restaurant. I look forward to coming back. Will see you in year 2025!

Good service, and not too long wait time. The menu screens took awhile to properly order but the wait staff were all friendly and helpful with the menu. The food were all good and delicious.

Unless I'm woefully unaware, this is the only place in Blacksburg to get any type of soup dumpling experience. The dumplings don't have a lot (they're advertised as mini soupy dumplings) but they taste delicious! Absolute comfort food. I'm also a big fan of the pork buns, sesame noodles, shrimp dumplings and the sweet & sour noodles. The fried dumplings are essentially gyoza - very good, very delicious sauce. I haven't tried anything that I can say I dislike. Prices are VERY fair for a college town. Take out seems to be the main thing, but the inside of the shop is clean and cute. Employees are fairly friendly. I would love to see full sized soup dumplings and a cucumber salad that sticks around on the menu soon!

Affordable and good dumplings, but you might want to get more than one serving if you want to make it a meal.
