Great Food and Staff was on there “A” Game with service. I highly recommend the Catfish with Cheese Grits.
Recommended. Poor Billy's is pricey for Blacksburg...which I like, because I can go there for a nice dinner with the wife and not have to worry about the riff-raff. I have eaten there twice, both times were an excellent experience. I ate there a month apart, and I had the same server who actually remembered what i ordered (it's not like I have any deformities or heinous tattoos that would cause him to remember me for other reasons). Their seafood is flown in fresh (the ahi tuna comes in from Hawaii at least 3 times a week if I recall correctly). Both times, I ordered an off-menu item (seared ahi tuna steak with a light seaweed and sesame salad). Ahi was cooked to PERFECTION....1" steak with a hard 1/8" sear. Others in my party had steaks which were gigantic and appeared to be expertly prepared. For dessert I had a nice creme brulee, while my wife had appIe crisp with a tasty Maker's Mark whipped cream. Irecommend giving this place a shot.
I had a 'Guinness marinated tomahawk cut tbone steak' that blew my mind. Probably a 25 oz steak, and cooked perfectly. And $0.35 raw oysters on Mondays don't hurt either. I highly recommend checking this place out, but expect a 70$ tab for two.

Lunch special = best deal in town!. The best sushi in blacksburg, if also the most expensive... the lunch special, however, keeps me coming back at least once a week when i need a quick lunch on campus. for just 5 bucks, you get one roll (i always get the shrimp tempura roll) plus miso. for 5 bucks! can't beat it.
