When I ate here the food and service were both excellent. I got the Hot Club Sub and it was really good, the waitress was nice and my food arrived quickly. The next day I went back and ordered curbside pickup, it was quick and easy getting my food. I will be back in the future to try more off the menu!

Casual Saturday night dinner, we stopped in about 6:30 without reservations and we were pleasantly surprised they had some tables open. The food was great really fast for a Saturday night and our waitress was very attentive. They had crayons and a popcorn machine that helped keep our toddler entertained until the food came. Will be back again.

Stopped in for lunch. Service was amazing. Melody M was our server and extremely friendly and in constant communication with us about how our meal was and when outlet food would be out. Made sure everything was to our liking and willing to correct if it wasn’t. We were about to get the check until she suggested the mini donuts. They were fresh and delisted. Not too much sugar and they were light and fluffy. Definitely recommend this place for the atmosphere and the service.

Although the restaurant was packed for Happy Hour on a Friday night, we did not wait long at all for a spot to sit at the bar, for drinks or for our food. If you are looking for a quiet dinner out, this is not the place. However I loved the open airy design, as well as the upbeat and lively atmosphere. The staff did a great job of keeping up with the steady stream of guests. The Happy Hour food special are good, but they only go from 3-5. The drink specials to to 6 though, which is great. Easy parking, and reasonable prices.

My first visit to Clive’s may not be as positive as I had hoped but it is not preventing me from delivering a fair review. I appreciated the fact that our party of 6 was seated immediately to a large, socially distanced table in an area with a comfortable ambiance. And treated by a friendly staff I was ready for a beer and the server ran through the list of beers with a member of our party. I requested a non IPA craft beer as I was not in my home state and was unfamiliar with the local beers. The server simply repeated the list of available tap beers at a speed that left me only recognizing the words Coors Lite and Blue Moon. Disappointingly, he stated he would repeat the list once everyone who wanted beer was ready to listen. I had hoped for a recommendation yet instead I had to visit the bar to read the names off of the Taps. The server obviously not familiar or confident enough to recommend a beer. Our orders were placed and did not take long to receive with the exception of one chicken sandwich. We had to wait only a few more minutes for it to arrive. I ordered a roast beef dip sandwich. The au jus had no beef flavor rather it resembled and tasted like olive oil but with less flavor. It neither enhanced nor detracted from the rather plain flavor of the beef. Yes, I was disappointed. With only one, perhaps two, exceptions, the other meals were tasty and well received. But how can you mess up 2 burgers and a lettuce wrap? The giant burrito was HUGE! It was set on a plate of nachos making cutting the burrito more difficult but not impossible. It was expected the burrito would have a nice mix of flavors enhanced by seasoning and/or sauces. However, i was told it tasted like the inside looked. Fillings with no seasoning or sauces. While I may not make Clive’s a first choice at my next visit, 50% of my party were very satisfied and would likely request eating at Clive’s again, thus I am providing them with a 4 star review. Would 3 be appropriate? Possibly but the truth is, we all ate our entire meal. I may try a burger next time, if there is a next time.
